Went in to buy some workout clothes and some alcohol. Lady working in the area was kind of helpful but also not really. Just ended up figuring it out myself. The selection in clothes that i wanted was inconsistent. Med sized shirts had pockets, but the other sizes didnt. After buying what i could i went to buy some alcohol. I ended up waiting 20-25 minutes for someone to come help me buy a bottle in the glass cabinet before i decided to just leave. Came here searching only for one item, a coconut liner for my hanging planters. I bought the plant hanger with the coconut liner awhile back ago from another Walmart Store, so I was hoping to find the liner replacement here. I walked through the gardening center entrance patio area. The plants here looked healthy and maintained. Passed through the grills and patio furniture, which are great items to have for the upcoming summer. And entered the indoor section of the gardening department. I looked up and down the aisles. I saw the hanging planter with the coconut liners, but no replacement ones. Hmmmmm... I walked up and down again, with no success. So I looked on their website, and they do sell them, but online and can be picked up at the store in a couple days. Darn! I drove all this way for nothing! Oh well. I had no other purpose than that and did not want to give into temptation, so I left the store! For as little as I saw, the gardening area looked great. From bug sprays, to pots, to soil, to plants, to patio furniture, looks like they have it all. Except the coconut liner replacements I was only there for. This review is for the curbside pick up. Firstly, this is the only walmart very close to my home. I liked the convenience, as its next to my bank as well. But since covid began, I've not been able to enter the store as I am considered high risk. I used to have no problems at all when placing and receiving my orders back in the day, except for getting many substitutions and/or they'd cancel my items even though the site says they're in stock. Not a big deal. But lately I've been missing many items, produce given to me is literally trash (see photo), and the delivery to the car (when I'm the only one there) had taken 20 minutes or more! I did get a refund for the trash they brought out to me, but now I have to place an order elsewhere to get the bananas my toddler is always begging me for. Always low prices. Always a mess. Back in the day when this was the only location in 626, everyone raved about Wal-Mart like it was some sort of theme park. Then to add bonus points, they are open 24/7, whhhattt?? But after opening quite a number of other locations in the surrounding cities, you would think there would be less people coming here now. Nope. Maybe if you go later in the night? That is the absolute worst time. Why? Because now they only have like 2 registers open. And that is when my hate hate relationship with this WM came to be. Since most WMs do their restocking during closing hours, and this one doesn't close, you can always find their restock boxes sitting in the aisle of everywhere. Then in the big open spaces, you will find pallets of stock. I want to say that there are more stock that are still boxed up than there are on the actual shelves. Maybe give them the benefit of the doubt that they're restocking other aisles first and will come back to those. NO! They are just ALWAYS there! I had a $25 Walmart gift card that I wanted to use on the products I wanted to buy. Behind the card, it states that "this card is valid towards all Walmart stores in the U.S..." I went to checkout, and the cashier, Noel, tried to swipe the card to the system, but somehow the card kept reading "error", and he did this for 5 minutes straight without calling the supervisor or someone else TO CONFIRM if the card works. He even asked if I was sure the card still had balance. Well, why would I pull out a Walmart gift card knowing there's no balance on it? Finally, he gave the card back to me and I barely had enough cash on me (that I planned to pay for gas) to pay for the items I bought. A week later, I went to a different Walmart and tried to see if the card works, and that cashier was able to use his scanner and scanned the card instead of swiping it to his machine. This shows me that this Walmart POORLY trained their cashier on these type of situations, and did not train them properly enough to ASK FOR HELP. (A review below this, a lady expressed her frustration on how she wasn't able to get her $125 gift card because Walmart was "uncomfortable." This also shows that they might even scam you for YOUR OWN CASH MONEY instead of accepting the fact that we have gift cards to pay it with.) read more

The Walmart in City of Industry is about 5 minutes from me, but I prefer to drive here. I can get in and out quickly; the only time I have encountered long lines is during the holidays around noon. Since moving, I've been frequently coming to this Walmart location much more than the Walnut Grove one in Rosemead. And all the years I've heard of how bad Walmart is compared to other stores, I have never really experienced much of bad service. Yes - the weekend lines are long, and yes - sometimes you can't find parking upfront, but it's always been still decent of an experience. Until the other day. I needed to have a photo get printed, which was imperative I have that day. I decided to order with Walmart so I would be able to get groceries as well all at one place. Placed the order online for their 1-hour photo service. Got my email confirmation and waited for that "your photo is ready for pick-up email." When I didn't get the notification after 2 hours, I decided to give them a call to check on the status. The girl who picked up the phone said she'll page the photo center. One. Hour. On. Hold. Still. Later. I decided to just hang up and stop by. Walked to the electronics section and asked the girl about my photo. She began to look around the couple of drawers. "I don't see your photo, let's me check the printer. Hang on." Comes back a couple of minutes later and tells me that they do not have my order. What do you mean? I have my email confirmation right here. "We don't have it." Okay.. can you check your system or something to see what's the issue? I can give you the order number?" She just looked at me until her coworker came by whom she told him also there was no order for me in which he replied, "Our printer has been broken for 3 days. I don't know why they even let you place the order online." Now I've had a tough week as it was and like I mentioned earlier, this photo was important and I needed it that day. I just walked out and said nothing more. I placed a new order with Walgreens - whom I should've used in the first place - and was able to pick it up in less than 30 minutes. Came here for a simple pick up order of umbrellas for our wedding this was the only store that had them in stock, it wouldn't allow my Fiancé to mark we were here. So, he got out to ask the guy for help or if they could check us in, the guy said he had to stay in the vehicle and threatened to cancel our order we've never been to a pick up where they come to your car to check you in, isn't that what the app is for anyway or the phone number. So after the guy yelled at my Fiancé, he finally took the name on the order and brought our order out, mind you it took forever for him to bring the umbrellas out. On top of this we tried calling the number on the pick up signs, no answer straight to VM, tried calling the store multiple times no answer. As someone whose been in retail and customer service management for a long time, this experience was horrible and deserves less than one star. It is a pain in the butt to get to this store and a bigger pain in the butt to get back on the freeway after you are done shopping. Sure, the prices are great but it is not convenient. This store has always had the fresh produce and hot food, which is nice. I don't especially like how this store is situated inside either. The store is huge inside and the staff are generally nice. This review is just for the Walmart pharmacy. I'm not a fan of Walmart at all on the contrary....but I was in the area and needed to go to a pharmacy. I was pleasantly surprised, I dropped off 3 prescriptions, one of them was pretty complicated for the technician but she called the pharmacist who took care of it pretty fast (called my doc, changed the Rx etc...). One of my meds wasn't covered by my insurance, they gladly applied one goodrx coupon ( pretty cool and easy compare to the drama that CVS and Rite Aid are usually making...) The pick up was even faster, the girl there was amazingly fast and organized. I've tried several pharmacies in Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale area for over a week and they couldn't get the job done. I was going to call the store right away and be a KAREN but my sweet mom said not to, so I'll write her experience on here instead. My mom went shopping yesterday and these two ladies made my mom's checkout experience unpleasant and uncomfortable. She may have shrugged it off but it's obvious she was really bothered by it because she wouldn't have told me. They were whispering to themselves (in English and Spanish) thinking she couldn't hear and complaining of how my mom was taking too long at self-checkout. First of all, she was overwhelmed by the prices and was making sure the prices she was purchasing were right. Instead of talking negatively about her being too slow, why not ask her if everything was alright? Maybe even offer her assistance since she's 53 years old! I shop all the time at the Supercenter in Poulsbo Washington that is by far the cleanest Walmart Supercenter I have ever been in I was expecting the same here in Baldwin Park. This place looks so filthy I'm handicapped so I depend on the electric carts. At the Washington store cards are all lined up against the wall and being charged. So when you come in you're ready to go. That's not this place there's carts all over the floor they're all in the red indicating that they have no battery there never plugged in I went in at 6:43 a.m. so it's not like they were being used. And they were just left there. I think I will continue my shopping while I'm here in Los Angeles at Target. Before you start closing more stores I think corporate needs to take a look at how their store is being run in Baldwin Park. read more

I didn't want to post a review but I placed a pick up order yesterday that was scheduled for pick up in between 7pm and 8pm. When I got to the location I called in to alert someone that I was here. I called literally 4 times only to get answering machine that had a pre recorded message about closing early for Christmas. I eventually had to get our my car and flag someone down to give them my order. The person I talked didn't have an answer for why the phone calls were not working other than "no one was in there" and then they just kept asking me to check in. Finally I got my order number through to him. The whole ordeal took about 20 minutes just to get my groceries. On a lighter note after dealing with that one person who completely ignored me another employee saw what was going on and ensured I got my stuff. He was nice and accommodating. It took about 30 minutes to get my groceries. I will probably be better off going in the store. read more

Walmart super center is my main store to shop in for groceries and other items, this store has everything I'm looking for and has been keeping up with shelves stocked well for their customers, friendly staff and hard workers I see doing the best they can. This Walmart has it worked out for essential items like sanitizing wipes or sprays, they have a cart filled by entry way inside with whatever items that come in that morning to hand out to customers one by one which I love that they do this because it's safer instead of before people rushing past in a hurry to the shelves where they would stock them and no one could get through . It was crazy before done that way , now Walmart has a better system of doing things in a safer manner and fair way. Thank to the staff at Walmart for doing things safely. Great job!!! read more

Very poor customer service. An associate was taking his break inside the dressing room associate area. He told us he couldn't open the dressing room because he wasn't done with his break. Then another associate by the name of Patricia comes around and told us she couldn't call customer service because she wasn't assigned to the dressing rooms.
