Service in home delivery from Burbank has suddenly has gone downhill. I'm partially disabled and depend on Walmart shipping and home delivery on most things, including frozen dinners. They used to send me an e-mail when parcels were delivered from the Burbank story to my address. The e-mail even included a photo of the goods as left on my porch. But recently, this has stopped and I receive no e-mails that the delivery was made. What's worse is that in the last 2 weeks, every time I try to log in, the system demands I prove I'm not a robot, yet refuses to let me in after I "pass" the silly tests about identifying buses, traffic lights or whatever. I'm running out of food! I've talked with customer service, which promised twice to fix this, but has not. I'm really getting discouraged with Walmart! read more

Its a a large store with everything in it. Food, Clothing, shoes, toys. You name it its here. Prices are great. The reason for the 3 a stars is the checkout. There are a lot of check out lanes some in the front and some behind them What sucks is that the front ones can't be used because it is not wide enough to pull your cart in. They need to spread them out some more to make room to pass. Also the chicken at the front to bulky. Hopefully corporate will take this into consideration. This is one of the nicer Walmart locations I've visited. Parking was a breeze and the store was more or less organized and tidy. We also asked an employee to help us grab a case of water that was out of reach, and received prompt and polite help. And although the restrooms weren't spotless, they were quite a bit cleaner than I expected them to be. The largest annoyance from The trip was trying to find a cart. The cart queues were empty and we had to exit the store to try to hunt one down in the parking lot. read more

One of the 2018 promises i made to myself is that i would shop/eat/whatever businesses that i have heretofore not. Wal-Mart is one of these businesses. Well today i jumped into my vehicle and drove to Burbank for a visit to a Wal-Mart which is right behind a Costco. Knowing something about retail i figured that this Wal-Mart would have adjusted down their prices in order to compete with the behemoth that is Costco breathing fire from just 100 feet away. I was correct. The pricing, at least on the items that i purchased was way down from Vons for sure and also from Costco. The Wal-Mart ethos/code of behavior for their employees is "kill the customer with kindness." They have greeters at the front door. Whenever I asked a question as to where something was/is i was escorted to that product. Some would call it intrusive. Others would say that the employee wants to make sure you don't steal anything. In any event i am all for way overboard good service:. Service which bends way over for you rather than treats you like a obstruction to their daily duties. Whenever i addressed an employee he/she looked up from their work and smiled! Imagine that? One thing that tends to drive every store customer up a wall is the dreaded check-out. Here, for the time i was here (mid-morning-ish) there were plenty of cashiers on duty and amazingly the self-service check out was jumpin'! And i don't know about you but i dislike the self service check out....a lot. I mean if you are going to do the check out yourself shouldn't you get at a 10% discount? It's like Korean BBQ restaurants in which you grill your own meats. Is that not backwards? In any event, everyone along the way from one side to the other here i was greeted with "Can I help you," or "are you ok?" i guess i looked like i was lost (!) which i was in this giant store that sells giant trash cans to men's and women's underwear, bags of lettuce and jewelry. And this unit is not even a Wal-Mart Superstore. So: after my first shopping visit to a Wal-Mart ever: i have to say that service is very good and that the everyday pricing is pretty unbelievable. read more

I have been here multiple times where Wal Mart has allowed vehicles to be parked within the no parking areas designated for handicapped loading. I started paying attention to this when I was temporarily in a wheel chair and had trouble accessing my vehicle because another car was parked in the no parking area that is supposed to be clear for handicapped individuals to get wheelchairs in and out of their vehicles and the space. Since then, I have seen this routinely. They also allow customers to bring their animals into the store when those animals are plainly not service animals. Many customers put their animals into the shopping carts - where someone else is going to put their food later on. For that reason, I don't recommend that anyone with allergies shop here (or anyone who doesn't want dog hair in their food, on their new clothes, etc.). read more

She literally stood with me for 30 minutes as we attempted to reach Supervisor 7 times. I finally just gave up, and left. This Store is not practicing safe social distancing during Covid, and the employees are clueless as to what's going on and what they need to do. This is the worst Walmart I have been too. All Walmart's have there cons: long lines, bad customer service, crowded parking lots but this one had it all! I went in to print some instant pictures and most of the machines were out of order, so I had to purchase the one hour photo option. When I did go back for the photos the poor guy in electronics was so understaff he had 4 customers (including ourselves) ask for help just from walking from the cash resguarde to the photo center. We are currently doing a return and Alondra greeted us and from getting someone to get the large return out of our car into the store to helping us expedite the return process by teaching us how to use the online app, she is verrry patient and attentive. Talk about patience! The girl is a Saint!!!! Yesterday when we came to buy the product Alexis - dept manager helped and she was soo kind and helpful totally going out of her way she even got me an ice pack for my foot and left it up at the counter for me to find when I was done shopping. Two gentlemen helped us get the suuuper heavy product in our tiny car. Jay and Brian. Thanks guys!!!! On black friday we were also here buying Shampoo. The one we use wasnt here, but a girl named Yesenia helped u a and went above and beyond checking their website finding out when it may come in. She was soo friendly. As was a man named William. He is ways a pleasure to see when we come in. We drive up from Hollywood and he is very memorable. :) Seriously the best Wal-Mart! This place is huge! You can literally get lost in here. It has food and everything else you might need. It's always crowded, which is something - but you can spend your entire day in here if you wanted to. Horrible customer service at Burbank Superstore #5686. There were tables placed in front of the registers with discount shoes. I was looking at the last table and noticed there were open boxes underneath with more discounted shoes. I pulled one box out and tried to find shoes for my daughter when the associate Fran approached me and yelled at me to put the box back and told me that I could not look into the boxes. Fran expresses loudly that I had to wait until she placed the she's on the table once there was more room. I asked if these shoes were for sale since they are on the sales floor and Fran said yes. I then asked why can't I look in the boxes to find shoes for my daughter. She explained again that she would not allow me to look at the boxes and got closer to me (less than 6FT)! I asked her for a manager and she told me that she did not have a radio to call one and told me to go to a cashier with a yellow vest. So I did, that cashier advised me to speak to an associate by the door. I explained this to the associate and she walked over with me to tell Fran that it was okay for me to look at the shoes in the boxes since they were for SALE! By this time, Fran moved the boxes closer to her and I wasn't able to safely look at the shoes. Fran also had her mandatory face mask below her nose. Note, in Burbank you must have a mask on properly! I looked at the shoes that were placed on the table and walked away. I asked THREE associates for a manager and no one cared to call for one! I was treated with no respect and humiliated by Fran yelling at me in front of other customers. Fran needs to be retrained and action needs to be taken to ensure she does not yell at customers for trying to buy products that are on the sales floor! I was so embarrassed by this! NO CUSTOMER SHOULD EVER BE YELLED AT WHEN TRYING TO BUY SHOES!!!! I am a grown adult not a child, not a criminal, and not a person to be treated with no respect! I had to call Walmart customer support while waiting in line to checkout. A 16 minute call and I actually talked to someone that cared! Yet 30+ minutes in the store and asking three associates for a manager... and I didn't get one! This is unacceptable! How would you feel if you were being treated like a child by being yelled at in front of others for trying to buy products! Being told not to do something that you know is 100% OKAY to do!?!? I want action taken against Fran! A write up with notes in her employee record! Additional training and acknowledgment that she cannot yell at customers! An apology would be great too! I would never yell at a customer or anyone! She does not have the right to yell at me for something so minimal! I would like someone to actually get back to me about this and let me know what actions are taking place. Oh and I saw many other customers looking through the SAME boxes after this incident! I am so shocked that this Walmart had such Sh*tty reviews. I mean really? It's Walmart. It has almost everything you need. I know. I know. This is not a fancy place to shop but come on now, it's Walmart. You get everything cheaper. You get more for the buck. I came here and got mangoes for fifty cents each. I would say that's a great deal. I do have to admit that if you're here to buy bedsheets and such, it might not be the best deal but you just gotta look for the sales. I will typically come to this Walmart location because it's the closest one to me. I'll come in and out for what I need and want. Sometimes this location has what I need and what I've been looking for that the local drug stores and Target stores do not have. The prices are always more than reasonable. The store can be a bit messy later in the evening with their staff constantly doing stock but at least a lot of the different areas of the store are getting the attention that they need. Parking can be a little tough sometimes but I feel like if you are going to come to this plaza at all, you need to expect that you will need to be a bit more patient from the beginning. So, put aside that road rage. You'll get there. The staff here are generally helpful. But really, this is one of those locations where I just come in to get what I need and maybe an item of 2 that I didn't realize I needed but because of the price it's a good idea. I'm annoyed as heck about the dudes who stand baby the door to check your receipt as though this were Cost Co. This is the only location that I have been to that does that. Ugh!! 2/5/22, at their jewelry counter, wanted to buy earrings in case. I pressed red button on counter for assistance. A blond male in a yellow vest came & said he would send someone to help, I waited 7 minutes, no help. I went to fitting room, he called for help, again no help. I went to the front, found Nicholas, a coach & David, maybe store mgr. Nicholas told me to go back to counter, no one ever came, gave up. I called store at 7:57 pm, the fitting operator attempted to call a mgr. Operator came back on phone, asked what time I was at jewelry counter, her excuse was a shift change & no mgr. available due to their store meeting. Many employees walked by, I asked for help, they all said, "they don't work there. No one offered assistance, 3/4 of the approximately 12 employees were on cell phones. POOR SERVICE!! read more

If you ever go to this store, be wary of their customer friendly (or rather the lack thereof) staff. First, I'd like to start off by speaking about the cashier we encountered last night. The guy was daydreaming (unsure what about), he just wasn't "there". Must be nice to be in la-la land while at work! We tried to purchase a discounted item. The discount was evident on the Walmart App. We scanned the item, the item was normally $25, but online price was $19.99 and the in-store price was $5.00. The adventurous wanderer of a cashier came back from la-la land and requested a supervisor to come. So Christine (Assistant Supervisor) came and said it seemed incorrect. She went away for about 15 minutes. During this time, the Jeopardy theme music played 30 times in my head, customers who were in line behind us left. Finally, Christine came back, and told us to re-check the Walmart App, and miraculously, the price was now showing $25. She said the price was for an "older model" considering there never was an older model. She deliberately lied to our faces and did not honor the price that was listed on their app. Christine is a horrible, unprofessional person to be in any leadership position. Do not go to this Walmart, and definitely run if you see her coming your way! read more

I like this Walmart unlike many other I've been they keep their check out lines moving which is most important to me. It's also cleaner than most other stores. Sadly for me (and for others to keep in mind) this store does run out of my favorite items fast so I have to remember to go as early as possible. Parking is always available, it's at the end of a huge shopping center so you can go in and out without getting caught in parking lot traffic. I recommend this store. read more

Had some issue with my car I came in to do a little grocery shopping and buy some radiator fluid. I needed some boxes for moving and I do not buy boxes, so I went around looking for boxes That they had laying around. Ive been told many times that walmart give out boxes. I was walking over to get a cart so i could put the boxes down to get to my shopping and some lady told me to put them down that they are not allowed to give them out. I used to work for target I know you just compact them in the back. So it is better to recylce or trash them to give them out. Other stores do this no problem. My review is for the online pick up! Do not order for pickup!! I messaged and was on the phone multiple times, they never refunded my out of stock orders!! It was like 13 items that they charged me for but they didn't have I'm stock! I messaged them twice and called them twice! Let me start of by saying that the management staff here do NOT have the skills to perform that title. I came in to buy some groceries for the week, and a couple cases of beer. They had the beer priced incorrectly. I was told by an employee named "Rachel" that they would honor the price. When I went to pay, the cashier couldn't over write it, the assistant manager Castro looked clueless as to what to do yet alone tell me. So Castro involved "Hal", a guy who didn't identify himself, as to who he was, he just told me it's "against the law to lower the price on beer". I told him okay show me your Walmart policy or where this law is, because I have never heard of it. He was a complete jerk. He belittled me in front of many other shoppers and my husband. BY LAW, they're to honor the price and he refused. This is why I will never come here again, I have reposted this to their corporate office along with pictures...and just an FYI, there is NO SUCH LAW! Hal, is an inexperience worker who couldn't handle a customer to satisfaction. What THEY did was completely illegal! And if you ever read this Hal...just know you messed with the wrong person. I've gone to this Wal-Mart multiple times before and have purchased alcohol from here before. I'm not sure why this cashier MARITZA decided to act up on me and my husband and deny us the purchase of alcohol. She said she needed to see both of our ids ????? My husband was the one paying and they have never enforced this policy before so I didn't come into the store with my id. & I'm not going to walk back to my car just because this b doesn't think I'm 21! We are 25 & 26 with a baby. She needs better training, better customer service skills and better judgement. I'm never the type to make a big deal out of things. But that was messed up. I'm so embarrassed because I came to this store. I came here on July 4th with my cousin and his pregnant wife on their first day after immigrating (legally) from Taiwan. Never again will I come here. The employees here first lied to us and told us they were out of 5 gallon jugs of water. Then, after getting tired of being told "No," we went to the back of the store ourselves the ONE good employee "Dominick" helped us by finding a jug all the way down at the bottom of a stock pile and even lifted it out for us. THANK YOU DOMINICK!!! It was all good -- we thought -- until after we tried filling up the jug we just bought for $8. The coupe de gras begins here... Walmart's racist employees tried to "take America back" by treating my cousin and his pregnant wife like criminals for attempting to fill up an empty 5 gallon jug with 30 cent water. WTF??? They actually thought they were trying to STEAL 30 cent water? I've never felt more embarrassed for this country. I mean they just bought an empty jug you said they didn't have for $8 and because they hadn't "in advance" paid the extra $1.50 for the water that goes in it yet, they couldn't push the spout for water to go down into it????
