The only thing I buy at Walmart are cheap clothes for work. I had to make an exchange and apparently it was the guys first transaction... Ever. I'm kidding of course but it felt like he just walked in off the street and it took 20 minutes. Then, another item I bought on a lark was priced wrong. And to top it off they either didn't have or very well hid toys from big hero 6. I looked at every toy aisle. How could they not have even one on such a hot movie now? DON'T SHOP AT WALMART!! I am not a regular "Walmart" shopper and will never shop there again. I bought some shirts 2 months ago and have been trying to return them ever since. We were not allowed to try clothes on then and there were NO SIGNS HANGING SAYING WE WILL NOT LET YOU EVER RETURN THESE CLOTHES. I did a start of a return online today and even got a code to show and the refund amount. It says to bring this to Walmart with your items for your return. Quote: " We'll process your refund after the items are dropped off at any Walmart store by September 20, 2020." "Please show the barcode to a customer service associate" ( It does have you say what you are returning) They not only refused to even read it but were rude and insisted they cannot take returns of clothes. I was so frustrated I went back in my car. Then I decided to go back in and ask to see another manager. She said THIS STORE WILL NEVER TAKE BACK CLOTHES BECAUSE WE ARE A TRAINING STORE. There is currently a Class Action Lawsuit against Walmart for the 1,000's of people who are not able to do returns. I recently went to Walmart's day after Christmas sale. My family and I were at the Naperville store and we were all excited to find great deals, we walked all over the store buying everything in site, but after so much shopping I had to take a break. I took a quick paused in one of the isles, as my wife continued to shop. All of a sudden, an associate walks up to me and informed me that a customer had just advised her that some guy in the next isle (me) had put something in his sweater. I was shocked and appalled, as I had done no such thing. But the associated insisted I had something in my sweater, so I quickly unzipped my sweater, as we stood in the middle of the pharmacy isle I demonstrated to the associate that I had nothing in my possession, but that was insufficient, after the associate watch me expose myself, she had the nerve to ask me, "Well did you put it back?" to which I responded, "Put what back? I didn't take anything." the associate and I eventually went our separate ways. After we parted ways, my brother-in-law and I went over and spoke to the store manager, Greg Szarzynski. We informed him of what had just occurred. He did his best to find the associate, but had no luck. Greg then suggested he would look over the surveillance tape and see if he could find the associate, then call me back. Which he did, no more than 15 after I left the store he called me and informed me he had found the associate and said her name is Helen, and she is one of their newer employees and was unaware of their policies, but he assured me the associate would be held accountable. I thank the Store Manager Greg for looking into this situation, but I honestly feel violated and was made to feel very uncomfortable. I don't know if it was my age/gender or my Hispanic ethnicity that had anything to do with this, but my family and I have been shopping at Walmart for years and something like this has never happened to us. I am very disappointed with the optical center. I have had good experiences in the past but this has not been ok. I had a eye exam in the middle of September. I made it clear I needed to order contacts online because I am having medical conditions and unable to drive. I have contacted the center several times and made it clear that I paid for a service and need to order contacts (they did not have my contacts available at that location at time of visit). I have talked with staff who work at the desk but the Dr. will not take my calls. It is not okay to pay for a service that you are not able to use. read more

Absolutely the worst, back asswards place I have ever been. First off, why the hell am I waiting in a line of about a dozen people at 1 am? Why??!! Oh its because out of the 13 or 14 check out lanes, only one is open. All of the self check out registers are closed, always. There is also easily two dozen employees shuffling around in the front of the store, doing odd jobs, picking up a piece of paper off the floor, or gossiping to each other about how they didn't get their break or how so and so left early and now there are all these boxes that have to be thrown away etc.etc. Every other aisle there is an employee leaning on the shelves on their phone, or talking on the phone, how about go get on a freaking register, idiots. This is without a doubt, the worst wal mart I've been to and the staff could care less about their job or you as a customer. I'm honestly surprised that this store had lasted as long as it has. O.K. one star ONLY because its a 24 hour store. I work odd hours so I often have to grocery shop overnight. There aren't many options so I was thrilled to know that this new location would be 24 hours. I arrived at the store exactly at midnight and there were about 5-6 cars with headlights on playing loud music.(Is this the club?) shortly after I saw some employees going towards the cars so I guess they just got off of work, but how come the people picking you up don't have enough common sense to respect your work place? Why is someone throwing soiled baby diapers out of their car window? I gave them the side eye and continued on about my business. The store was dark. I understand that all of the lights don't have to be on, but the produce section was dark. Is that an orange or a lemon? The prices here seemed higher than other Walmart's(the food).I asked one guy who was working in the frozen foods section about the boca burgers and he had no idea what I was talking about. He said that he just started today....UGH..don't people get trained before they start? I'm no meany,I found them and showed him just in case someone else wanted to know. It was all down hill from there. The stockers where hanging around talking about Facebook in the middle of the aisle blocking my peanut butter.1 girl was working in FLANNEL PAJAMAS!!!!,the only lanes open where the self check out, BUT WAIT!! these are not normal self check out lines, they are in a square. There is NO WHERE for you to bag your groceries. Not a conveyer belt, or even the metal box that is next to most self check outs. You have to hold your grocery bag in one hand, put your food in it, then put it on the metal box..nothing to hold the bag up to throw your food inside. If you don't listen to me and you must go there at night don't get a lot of items. You've been warned. Unless there is a register opened. I asked the lady if the registers will be open overnight she said "I don't know, this is my first day!" This place has been open at least 10 days someone should know something and Please I don't want to see your Flannel Pajamas when I'm buying my peanut butter! On the plus side. I usually go to Meijer for my 24 hour shopping, but they ALWAYS have bad produce at night, this Walmart did have decent produce at night-if you have good eyes and can see in the dark.Who needs Vegetables! back to Meijer I go..... read more

This is one of the worst Walmarts that I have been to. So bad, that I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this review. I wanted to try on some clothing and went to the fitting room. There were 3 of us waiting. It was took nearly 20 minutes for somebody to come open the fitting room doors. I stopped multiple workers to ask for assistance but none of them had keys. They called for assistance 3 different times. Several workers clocked out for lunch on the computer in front if the fitting room. I asked one of them if they could let us in and she replied, "oh that's what ya'll are waiting for? I'm just clocking out for lunch." I finally handed a worker the clothing I was going to try on and said I wasn't going to wait any longer. The other two people waited which is how I l is how long it took. Everybody was like, "Oh sorry" but nobody could go get keys???? Aside from that, all the workers seem startled and bother when you approach them for anything at all. Even the shoppers are rude, huffing and puffing if you are walking slightly slower down an aisle. I'm sticking with Meijer!! There is one up the street. The workers are nice and I have never felt down right disrespected while shopping there. Eew...what a nice beginning to my week. read more

Ran inside for something that should've took one minute and turn into an argument with one of their department managers....one of dumbest persons I've ever talked to....very serious....I simply can't believe she was hired let alone a department head (fancy name for an aisle referee) named Anna.....25 min in store wasted then 30 min on phone with corporate, called back store to get Anna's name since forgot it and the front desk people kept putting me on hold and ignoring me, 3 times called back and never got an answer.....purposely done and very obvious.....30 min for that, so called back corporate and had them call store for me....10 min wait for that........all this just because I went in store to pick up a single bottle of soap. RIDICULOUS.... Now I want to see how corporate will handle this. I will never go here again. The 2 other Walmarts near here are so much better! Many seedy people hang around and 2 of them tried to pick my pocket but I felt it and grabbed his hand! Employees act as if you're bothering them Ann's make NO effort to move out of your way! A deli employee Charles stood there and did nothing while I was waiting and when I asked him for help he got very rude and started staring me down and talking in an aggressive manner to me like he wanted to take me out back and fight! Unfortunately sometimes you have to come to this store but cringe at the thought of going. You set foot in the store and instantly remember why you hate this place. The new store that opened on 75th street is worse than the one that was on rt59. Even thought the one on 59 was smaller, I was able to find most of the things I needed, but the newer, bigger Walmart never carries things that I need. I'm not sure if it's more busier now because of the location, but they need to stock their shelves more often. I usually try not to write reviews but, I recently had a bad experience with something I bought there. Couple of weeks back I bought a shape wear underwear only because of the price. Once I got home, I wanted to wash it, so I took the lil hanger out and went to cut the tags and noticed it had a hole in it. I put it back in the bag to return it. Unfortunately my husband threw away the receipt the next morning, but I thought I could just exchange it for another one. I went to the store a few days later and took it to the cust service lady and explained what happened. (Btw I had to stand in line for 20 mins with 2 ppl in front of me.) anyways so the lady kept looking at the underwear, comparing the tags that were attached with the print inside the underwear and says well that doesn't match. I didn't understand and she shows me that what's printed on the fabric inside the underwear was diff from what the tags were reading. I told her that I didn't even cut the tags, so how is that my fault, it was someone in the store that didn't put the right tag. So the lady tells me because its personal item and I don't have a receipt they cant take it back. I can't believe that I'm stuck with underwear with a hole in it because of an incompetent employee. I guess in future have I will have to check the inside of a garment to make sure the print matches with the tags or better yet not to buy at walmart. read more

Poor service at this location. Place an order for chicken to be picked up at 10am and the order was not ready. Instead of apologizing for their mistake. The department manager seemed angry that some one took an order for chicken. When ask why my order was not ready, her only response was I just got here. 5 people working behind the counter and no one seen there was an order to picked up at ten. Do not shop here and do not do a return here with a split tender. When I went to return a walmart.com order that I had paid with using split tender (split tender = using two different forms of payment) the customer service rep told me I could only get my money back on a gift card even though I had a receipt and was within the 90 days , it had only been 3 days. She then passed me off to a 2nd CS rep who claimed she knew how to do it. She took my ID, but then was not able to do the return. She then passed me to a 3rd CS rep who noticed she charged me $225.20. The 3rd rep said she had returned the additional $225.20 that was charged to me by the 2nd associate, and returned my walmart.com order. Also, when doing the return, the customer service desk ganged up on me and tried to tell me my Visa debit gift card, was a walmart gift card. On the receipt it clearly shows debit tender and it also clearly a VISA DEBIT GIFT CARD. The 2nd associate should be fired, and the entire department needs to be trained. They were also very hostile during the return and are not familiar with their own return policy. Beware!! Read the return policy for Walmart before doing the return, they will try to deceive you and dismiss what you know. read more

This is my first Yelp review ever. I felt the need to write this as I just ended an over 10 min phone call to this place. Within the 10 min I asked one super rude employee to check the status of an item I already purchased a week ago. She cut me off real quick saying " well you need to wait for an email, ok so hold on." Spent 5 min on hold. Same lady picked up the phone- so I had to repeat myself. I got the same answer and she put me on hold again. I decided to just out my phone on speaker and yet another 5 min or so went by so I hung up. Guess I'll just have to wait for that email lol I shoulda known better than to shop at Walmart but I figured doing it online (with in store pick up) would be easier than having to go and shop inside that place. I started shopping at the Oswego Walmart when the Cub Foods closed several years ago. When this new WalMart opened, I was happy because it is much nearer to my home. I have been shopping there weekly for months now, and am consistently happy with the friendliness of the staff, the variety of available products, and the prices--they tend to sell name brand groceries even cheaper than the other Walmart stores. Their produce department is on par with the expensive grocery stores in the area quality wise, with better prices. On top of this, there is the added advantage of the Savings Catcher program, which has saved me an additional $50+ in grocery money this year with almost no effort on my part. The only things missing in this store that the Oswego store has to offer are the automotive service department, and the associated gas station in the parking lot. read more

On May 19 we needed a cell phone. AT Walmart Supercenter, 2552 W 75 St, Naperville, IL we were quickly served by Manny. He listened to our need, quickly recognized a product to meet that need. The price and quality were exactly what we expected. Then Manny went more than the extra mile, I show us how to use the new phone and set it up installing the SMS card and contacting AT&T to get it working. Wonderful service Manny. We waited for 30 minuets with only self checkout being open and a line down the front of the store. The lady running self checkout said, "There is nothing I can do, it's because of call offs." I said there is no excuse when you have a herd of employees standing goofing around in the back. I can't exactly use self checkout when I have a cart full of Christmas stuff. Then when I question an employee standing around doing nothing,"Oh he's maintenance". So I decided I had enough and went to the front of the store to videotape it with my phone. Well apparently that got her attention and she managed to find a whole two employees to run registers. Then as we are leaving Mr. Maintenance is running self checkout funny he can run that, but not a regular register. It took 45 minuets just for me to check out because they have mangers that can't do their job. I've worked retail and this is completely unacceptable, especially a week before Christmas. read more

Very Sad with the service overall here :( I do like Walmarts in general and have never had an issue with any other location or any other store in general in my life, but this Walmart's customer service I experienced today was beyond upsetting. More than once I have been charged a higher price than what they have posted in the aisle for groceries here, but it wasn't a big difference so I never said anything. Also the cash register attendants have been rude for no reason to me and other customers a number of times, but again I stayed pleasant and never said anything. But today was too far! I bought a Christmas present tablet here about a month ago and they sold me the wrong warranty (not even for a tablet). The day I bought it I told them that what they were selling me didn't match what the warranty price shown online and they convinced me it was fine. Later I find out I was right, so I go back today and try to return the random warranty they sold me and purchase the correct one for the tablet. They admit that whoever sold that to me did make a mistake and the warranty I had definitely could not be used for the tablet I bought. But the price of the warranty they should have sold me in the first place has now changed from $28 to $45. They advise that they cannot honor the old price because it will not ring up in their computer anymore so there is nothing they can do. The customer service lady said this politely but the customer service manager was extremely rude. So I had to pay almost double for the mistake they admitted they made! I paid the $45 to make sure I took care of this for the person I bought this Christmas present for, but will never be going back here again even though it is the closest grocery store to me.
