Great service. Really Good food. Pizza and pasta were delicious. Nice place. A little pricey for Italian for my taste.

A regular since it's opening a little over one year ago my wife and I dine at Wandby's weekly. We find the food expertly prepared with creativity and care. Piping bowls of freshly made pasta, home made pizza (already acclaimed as the best in southern Maine) wonderfully designed fresh seafood and meat dishes, a great wine list and bar menu all presented with great service and attention to detail. Cannot recommend Wandby Landing more highly after eating at Italian restaurants throughout the USA and Europe as our favorite cuisine. The Kennebunk's now has an authentic Italian gem in our grasps. read more

Been to Wanby many times and always a wonderful dinner. This week I was with a group of six friends. The Reservation was made and mentioned celebrating one friends birthday. We also requested a particular server. We arrived and it was busy. Given a lovely corner table. Drinks were ordered and one asked for iced tea and told she wasn't sure it was available. Drinks delivered and never a mention of iced tea availability, which I've had in the past. I did ask again about the iced tea and told it was not available. Upon ordering three guests ordered a pizza that had red pepper flakes, two requesting it on the side. It was an excessive wait but finally food arrived. It appeared only one was minus pepper flakes with none on the side. One guest cannot eat pepper flakes. When seeing the server next this was explained to her and she took it back to the kitchen. She returned to ask if the guest would care for something else and apologized stating the pepper flakes are in the sauce and not finished with it. This made no sense as it appeared one delivered to the table was without and there was nothing said upon ordering. The guest didn't care for anything else. I must say all the food was delicious as usual. Afterwards we asked for a dessert menu and one was delivered which was odd being we were six. The desserts were also excellent but had hoped we would at least get a birthday candle or good birthday wishes. It was the service that lacked what we were accustomed to. The only other thing we and many other friends have commented on is the drink pours being MUCH smaller than other restaurants we frequent in town. Realizing experienced help is hard to find we will return but hope there is better commication and a more seasoned waitperson. read more

Average food, small portions, and a very limited menu. Their wine pours were small and even after complaining the bartender didn't pour properly. They also charge an extra 3% service charge for their kitchen staff ! The ambiance was good and the service was fine. We won't return. read more

I really wanted to like this place but couldn't. First and foremost they jammed us at a table that might seat four on a good day but we were a party of five. The menu is also really odd and disjointed. Like they're missing a whole section of something. Pricey too for what you get. People in town warned me to expect the service to be spotty which it was. Bread served cold. No water refills unless we asked. Waiter disappearing for long periods of time with no check in. Poor presentation of the plated food and way too salty. Asked for salt and pepper and never got it. Drinks took forever. I hope they sort their issues out but we won't be returning. We were locals hoping to add a new place in our rotation, too :-( read more

Gave this place a try and the food is not worth the price. Entire pasta dish was salty and lacked flavor. Ordered a glass of wine and was VERY disappointed with the pour. I will say the ambiance and space is well decorated and looks nice but that doesn't justify the high prices and lack of flavor. I am all for paying for good quality food but this place just misses the mark for me. It's just another restaurant in the Port who wants to Jack up the prices because of the location. read more

Four of us were there for the first time and the food was amazing. We were fans of the previous restaurant, On The Marsh, so wasn't sure how we'd react to the new design but is was nicely done and the charm remains. We'll definitely be back and soon. read more

I've now eaten here twice and both experiences have been excellent. The staff is very friendly, experienced, and attentive. The food is extraordinary, creative, and has interesting variety. Their pizza is killer, the homemade pastas are amazing, and the specials are always delicious. They continue to evolve the menu with the seasons and I'm looking forward to the summer. So romantic! We had reservations for 7:30 on a Friday night. We got there a little early and spent some time at the outside fire pits before heading into the restaurant. The host was welcoming and because it was our first time she gave us a nice overview of the space. We sat by the back window and it felt cozy and private even though the dining room was full. Nadia explained the menu and was so attentive. She recommended ordering a starter and sharing dinner plates, that was spot on! We got the squid and lamb kabobs to start, both were excellent. They brought rolls with butter and olive oil. The rolls had a little flake of sea salt that we loved! Yum! They had a large variety of custom cocktails. For dinner we ordered the steak, beets and a pasta. Large portions and delicious! The pacing of dinner, feel of privacy, atmosphere and wonderful staff made this our new go to place. After dinner we didn't want to leave so we headed back out to the fire pit. We had the space to ourselves, great ending to a perfect night! read more

Check the menu online or call before you go. First time we visited they had a wonderful (albeit limited) menu with unique pasta dishes and appetizers. When we went during Christmas Prelude they had totally different menu with boring and limited selections like spaghetti and meatballs, cheese ravioli, etc. It reminded us of a children's menu but had prices of an upscale restaurant ($25 - $30 for small pasta dishes). They had removed all of the menu offerings that we enjoyed the first visit. read more

Had an impromptu visit to Wandby this evening . Sat at the bar for some apps and cocktails ! The salad was a large portion with fresh vegetables and a favorable dressing Had the meatballs , eggplant and ribs under the antipasto section of the menu ...all were fabulous . Outstanding food, drink and atmosphere. Has an extremely welcoming bar and seating scene downstairs but can also accommodate large groups upstairs. Been coming to Wandy from early days and can honestly say this is our favorite restaurant in the Kennbunk/port area. Food is consistent, fresh made, and locally sourced every time. Delicious dinner and service was excellent. My husband and split the mussels appetizer and two full portions of the tagliatelle and rigatoni and both were some of the best pastas we've had in quite sometime. We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Wandby Landing in October and it couldn't have been more perfect! We worked with Matt, Dominic, and Moriah and they went above and beyond to make our night extremely special while also working within our budget. The food selections they provided were amazing, it was hard to pick! All our guest could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. Location is gorgeous, spacious, and private. We were also able to invite guests that were not officially invited to the rehearsal dinner after for a drink at the downstairs bar which worked out great. We went to the Wandby in Oct 2023, hoping the good reviews were accurate, but we were disappointed. There's not much "Italian" going on here. The decor and food were not your typical Italian restaurant fair. The meatball app was good, but the main dishes were a real disappointment. I had the ravioli and the mistery meat stuffing was so bad I had to squeeze it out so I could eat the pasta. This was our favorite place when it was On the Marsh, so we were really hoping the new owners had a winner. I hope they figure it out. read more

Great new place in Kennebunk run by a great local couple. Our party of 6 managed to try most of the menu and found all the food to be very tasty. Our favorites were the pork loin, the chicken, and the cappelletti. The restaurant remodeling gives you a causal White Barn feel and the expanded bar will make this a great option for drinks and apps. If you're a regular in the Kennebunk/Kennebunkport area, I'm sure you'll find some of your favorite servers and bar staff here. Free off street parking is a nice plus as well! read more

The beets were a fair portion and enough to share with another person. The pastas were delicious. The restaurant is very inviting. On the Internet the mussels are $16. In the restaurant they are $17. The beets also were a dollar more at the restaurant. Also, there was no mention on the site nor on the in-house menu that we saw that said a 3% fee would be added for Kitchen Love. The wine pours were small, and the cocktails seemed watery. The bread should have been served hot. Some pasta portions were larger than others. Also, the half and full portion of pasta seemed to be a dollar higher than the prices on your site. Two of my friends thought their food was much too salty and didn't like the added salt on the bread. Make some changes, and you will have an awesome place to eat. read more

New favorite spot in town! Everyone was wonderful, and we loved all of the food we got. I recommend the grilled lamb skewers, salads, radiatore pasta, roasted chicken, roasted potatoes, and panna cotta in particular. It's been beautifully renovated, and it's convenient to have parking too. Super excited to have an amazing new year round spot - will definitely be back! read more

Inconsistent food. Server was excellent but kitchen was apparently overwhelmed or understaffed. Waited forever for everything. Entrees we're sloppily prepared with poor presentation. Menu very limited. Won't be back. Management needs to get it's act together or the restaurant will be changing ownership again. read more

Nice atmosphere, wonderful location, very friendly staff, and an interesting drink menu. We were a group of 6, so we got to try many things. Pizza is excellent. Pasta dishes great but Carbonara is supposed to have lots of black pepper and this didn't have any pepper I could taste or see. It was tasty, just not the way the dish is normally made. The chicken entre was excellent. Two areas for improvement: First, timing on appetizer delivery was weak. The first two came out reasonably close together but the last one was so late that we wondered if they forgot it. They also brought out far too little bread with one of them. C'mon, bread is cheap! Second, we were advised that the fried oyster appetizer recipe had changed to panko crusted. Not having been there before, we shrugged our shoulders and ordered them anyway. They were not good. Far too much panko crust and you hardly could taste any oysters. Next time make sure you fully test any recipe changes. Maybe you were doing that and we were the test? Chefs should know what they are putting out and be able to adjust FAST. Other than the one bad appetizer the experience was positive. Would I go back? Maybe, but eating out is EXPENSIVE and there are lots of other options. read more
