A for effort, but that's about it. The sauces were limited; the protein choices were limited; cooking was handled by only one griller and, therefore, one customer at a time. Compared to other Mongolian grills, specifically the HuHot (not available in VB), this was very disappointing. The servers were good, but really, they were sort of unnecessary. Your food is served with a choice of soup, and among the two of us, we tried both the egg drop and the hot-&-sour. The egg-drop soup was extremely unpalatable when it came to texture and color. They added some sort of pectin or thickener to make it gooey, and it was sunflower-yellow in color! Same for the other soup, neither hot nor sour flavor. The ambiance was also a bit strange, with lots of customers crammed in a small place, bumping into each other, standing/waiting in each others' personal space....definitely not a place to eat and relax. read more

We have been going here about once a month for many years. We like the fact that you choose your ingredients, the vegetables always are fresh and there is a nice choice of meats and sauces. We have found the chefs to be good and watched as they clean the grilling surface often so as not to build up a burnt residue. Every time I come here, I always get my food to go! Understand if you sit down and eat and you still have food left on your plate, do not think about asking a for a 'to go container' because they will NOT GIVE it to you. Once you decide to eat in, that is exactly what you do - eat in! Thankfully, I know how to stack my bowl. Because with to go orders you can only use one bowl unless you want to get charged for using a separate bowl for your order. Now, they do allow you to use a separate bowl for your sauces. So if this helps, think of it as a masterpiece you are building...and pretty much how the food is arranged start placing the meat in your bowl, then the veggies, then top it off with your noodles. Matter of fact, keep in mind the game -Jenga! But you are food stacking against the law of gravity. It takes practice, but it is worth in the end. With your to go order you can choose a soup or the mini salad bar. Upon checking out you can grab some mints, toothpicks and chopsticks. I believe dinner to go is under $10. You also get white rice with your meal that is already prepared after your hibachi meal is cooked and ready to go. The food is always good here. And if you need help with the mixing of sauces the cooks will help you. I am sure they have menu options if you do not choose hibachi. But always ask if you are unsure. The waiter only came by twice and the last time was a different individual that brought the check. It was okay however, I personally just did not like the service provided. I'm a big vegetable person but could do without s whole lot of meat so I skip the noodles and get all of the vegetables and maybe some of the crab chunks and maybe steak. And when it comes to the sauces I get 1-2 scoops of everything except the sesame oil and the chili sauce . Garlic water I get as many garlic pieces as I can in 2-3 scoops and my plate always tasted phenomenal. But they serve your side dishes family style which is also nice . I'm a big fan of Mongolian BBQ and warrior's grill did not disappoint. When we walked through the door, staff greeted us and showed us to our seat. I will have to see, there was an expectation that we knew the menu because there was no explanation or allowing us to review the drink menu. That being said, our dinner came with soup, white rice, and sesame bread. The bread I liked but it was not uniform. Some sticks were chewy, some crunchy, but they all had a nice sesame flavor. The grill itself had a wide variety of options. The usual line up of veggies, but I was really happy and intrigued to see lamb on the protein selections. They also had pork, light and dark chicken, beef, and krab. There was a concern for cross contamination with the rings for chicken, so some people may be weirded out. But the grill was hot and appropriately cooked everything equally. The chefs around the table were skilled and my food was cooked perfectly. And of course I went back for seconds. The great thing about Mongolian is that your master of your own plate, so you can pick and choose everything down to the sauces. For dessert they gave us 2 chocolate chip and 2 white chocolate macadamia small cookies. Everything was included in one price. So overall, I think warriors grill is great with nice people that may think this won't be your first rodeo with Mongolian. And I'll definitely be back for another round. read more

I LOVE BUFFETS! Not sure what some people consider a "buffet." This is NOT a BUFFET. The offerings for the Mongolian BBQ were sorely lacking. Slices of dried out "Beef," "Pork," and light & dark "Chicken" were all the Non-vegan choices. There was a sign saying that only ONE bowl was allowed. Not worth the $15 per bowl. Soup and tea were extra. I think my water was free, though there was a mystery entry on the ticket. Didn't want to argue over it. Not going back in my lifetime. read more

I've been dining at both Warriors locations for 15+ years and have NEVER had a problem until last night. I typically go in for lunch and everything is usually great. I brought my family in for dinner. We walked in at exactly 745. The manager on duty did not acknowledge us, perhaps he was distracted. Things happen. I asked for a table for three and we were sat immediately. The server took our drink and soup orders and returned very quickly...no problem. Quick is good. Server then informs us that the restaurant will be closing at 830. I asked why. Server said they decided to close early bc it was slow. She then proceeds to hover over us while we discuss if we should leave the restaurant or not. (The whole time we are eating the employees are moving chairs and cleaning.) I walked up for my second plate at 8:10 and the cook has already begun breaking down the items for my dinner. Nothing is on indirect ice. Product is just sitting on the counter. At 820 the bill is brought to my table. At 8:30 we are paying. I asked the manager what time they close. His exact response was, "AFTER YOU LEAVE." THESE WERE HIS EXACT WORDS. I asked why the door and google say they close out 9 pm. He says that they are busy because been a long day and they are tired. Walking into a restaurant 75 minutes before they close is not unreasonable. What his manager and his team fail to realize is that a guest dining at 8:15 deserves the same respect and service as a guest at 5:15. I will probably go back, I love the food, but I will never go to dinner there again. If Warriors doesn't want to serve dinner perhaps they should change their closing time to. I have included photos to substantiate my story. Manager did offer to comp part of my bill. I did it want compensation however, I just wanted to be treated respectfully and like my time mattered. read more

Quick, cheap, filling, and tasty!! My only issue with this place is that the counter of the buffet in front of the meats needed to be cleaned. The thin sliced meat is kept frozen but there were little bits all over the counter that thawed so it was pretty gross if you set your bowl down on it by mistake or touch it. read more

Good food, decent prices (the "one bowl" price is huge disappointment) but there are a few turn offs, such as cooks that are hostile if you don't tip them (where else do you tip the cook?), bathrooms and walls that are not clean, and they don't take Amex. Knocked two stars off for the dirty bathrooms/walls and buffet area not clean enough, plus the staff feeling entitled to a tip. Fix those and Warriors could easily be a 4 or 5 star buffet. read more

It's been a long time since I've had Mongolian BBQ so I thought that I would really enjoy this and was surprised when I didn't. The price, $13 for all you can eat at dinner, was reasonable and the selection of ingredients is pretty standard. I found the flavor to be pretty lacking though, and I don't like how they want you to fill up on noodles and vegetables before you finally get to the most important part, the meat! Think about Mongolia for a moment; do you picture noodles and veggies or do you envision warriors grilling up piles of meat on their shields over a crackling fire? This is buffet and it's definitely good for people who like Mongolian food. Some Chinese buffet still have grill like this but here they flavor it better than others. With an allotted $10 per person budget, my work team decided on this place for an outing. I've always loved Mongolian bbq because of how customizable the food is! Warriors Mongolian Grill offers a variety of meats including chicken, imitation crab, pork, beef, and lamb (dinner only). The set up is like other similar places. Pick up a bowl and fill it with as many ingredients as you can fit! Structural integrity is key when building your Tower of Babel (if you come during the weekdays you can see how meticulously some people stack ingredients to make the most of the single bowl lunch price). My favorite way to do it is to start by putting your choice of meat on the bottom of the bowl, then add the veggies and noodles on top as they're less likely to fall off. Sauce wise you can't really go wrong either (Just go easy on the sesame oil and chili oil). Ingredients are always fresh and they replenish them often! I've come to warriors for many years and between the quick service and eat at your own pace dining it's easy to see why! Last tip, the sesame bread's one of my favorite parts of the meal so def save some room for one or two pieces! read more

Warriors grill has been around quite a while, however this was my first time visiting there. Four of us stopped in for lunch recently and had a pretty good experience here. We were immediately seated and as I understand there's pretty much two choices. You can take a single trip up for $7 or you can do unlimited for $9. Since this was my first time I choose a single trip. Besides you know what happens when you get stuffed at lunch and I couldn't afford to be sleepy that afternoon. You get to choose from various fresh cut vegetables, noodles, etc. and then move down the line and selected your meat which has a selection of beef, chicken or pork. I really wish shrimp was a choice and I'd definitely pay more for it, unfortunately it's not available. After that are several sauces you can put on your dish before it all goes onto the grill. From there you watch them cook it up and then you take your meal back to the table. I found the food satisfactory, and the service was quick and friendly. Warriors is definitely a place where you can go and get a quick meal in under an hour for about $10-$12 dollars. I'll definitely be back in the future. read more

Warrior's is always a great place to eat. My family has eaten here a number of times and we always love everything. The service is great, so many people help you that you don't know who your server is. You walk up and make your bowl, then hand it to one of the gentlemen who put it on the cook top. Tonight i noticed that the man in line before us used a lot of chili sauce on his food. Before cooking my daughters food, I asked the cook to make sure no leftover spice would get on her food and he gladly cleaned off the cook top before putting her food on there. The prices of everything is super reasonable, for adults a dinner plate is $13 and comes with rice, sesame bread, and your choice of soup. The kids Mongolian buffet is $6 and also comes with soup. I love Mongolian barbecue, so I was excited to find this place near our hotel. The prices were really good and the staff super friendly. The chef takes about half the time to quick-fry your food as other places do, so it's fast. My only complaint is that the available ingredients are a little on the spare side. I mean, you can take all that you can shove in your bowl, but there's a rather short list of ingredients compared to most places. Same thing could be said for the sauces you put on the food. Still, if you want a basic Mongolian barbecue for a good price, this is the place for you. read more
