I will start this off by saying good luck getting in here, but I wish that was my biggest problem with Warwick. After sweet talking the door man, he let myself and 5 friends in around 11 pm on a Saturday. We bought a couple drinks each, had a good time and enjoyed ourselves until around 1 am. At this time, a female promoter asked me and 2 of my friends I was with at the time to come join her at a table.. We decided sure, she walked us to the table and left. We thought nothing of it and joined this table of people. Although me and my 2 friends had drinks in our hands, my friend reached for the vodka bottle in one hand; as we assumed that this was a "promoted table" that the promoter brought us to, where drinks would be communal. However having a drink in her other hand, my friend didn't open it and took none of it! I looked behind her and saw dirty looks from the people at the table.. Feeling uncomfortable and confused, I whispered to my friends to leave. It all happened so quickly but next thing we knew, a male grabbed the bottle from my friend and out of no where a female proceeded to choke(yes you read that correctly, CHOKED) my friend. Pulling my friend away and trying to escape this violent female, I got slapped in the face. Without retaliating, we quickly left to seek help from the bouncer outside. After telling the bouncer the story, and showing him my friend's cut up and red neck(which would later turn into a bruised neck), he was very sympathetic, (which we would later find to be a show) and told us to identify her and he would kick her out. We identified the female at the table and he kicked her out. 15 minutes later my friends and I decided to leave because who could get over the fact that they were choked and slapped and still try to have a good time?? On our way out, we see the girl being escorted back in by the security guard. we were in shock, my jaw dropped and I calmly asked the bouncer why she was let back into the bar. he ignored me and said that he didn't want to answer my question. This story just touches on the situation that we experienced. the complete disgust that we felt leaving Warwick that night cannot be forgotten. My friend and I were assaulted in a bar and the security did nothing about it. Warwick promotes violence. There's no other way to say it. I felt unsafe, physically pained, and more so disregarded as a human by the bouncers/workers/ and establishment as a whole. I will never step foot in Warwick ever again. read more

Great, great ambience. The decor inside is a huge step up from L Bar. And a really fun DJ. That is all the good things I can say about Warwick. Went there last Saturday eager to find a nice new hangout in West Hollywood. A (female) friend and I arrive after circling for parking to find a roped off area with a few random groups of people scattered about. We ask one of the many bouncers (don't know why they needed so many) about the line situation. He told us that we needed to wait. A man in one of the groups (of all men), comes to us and ask us about getting in. He had been standing there for a while. We told him we also have to wait. After about 10 minutes, the bouncer lets me and my friend in. Yet gives us attitude about entitlement....weird. We go in to a practically empty bar. Not kidding. There were more workers than patrons. The bartenders looked so bored. But again, the layout is fantastic, with small tables and cushy chairs in the middle, nice tables on raised platforms lining the wall (bottle service), and a large bar in the back. We get served instantly...to a $32 bill. $15 for a glass of wine, $17 for a Makers neat. And they were not healthy pours. Our friend (a guy) met up with us and one of us had to go outside get him. My friend literally had to talk to a manager outside to convince her to let him in. My last friend (a girl) had no problem once she told them her two girlfriends were already inside. $9 for an Amstel Light, according to my two friends. My friend and I got one more round (only because she got the first and I told her I would get the second) and then we left around midnight. Even then, all bottle service tables were empty, and the bar was still less than packed. And those little clusters of men remained outside. read more

I went here to celebrate my 21st Birthday and it was very packed but fun. I just have one question. I lost my wallet in the club, and I was wondering how i would go about trying to get it back. Fabulous new spot in Hollywood. Plenty of places to sit, walk around or dance. Beautiful decor with vaulted ceilings and a mini upstairs area with second bar. They also have a decent area to smoke for you smokers. The staff is glamorous and efficient. Yes you may have to wait outside for a minute, but this is Hollywood, get used to it. Music has been a good mix the few times I've been there. Tip: If you get a table the soda bottle is a little tricky to use so ask your server. I've seen a couple girls have an impromptu wet t-shirt contest because they couldn't figure it out. lol read more

I really love this place, it's my go to. The atmosphere is chill and more loungy, which I enjoy. They're sticklers at the door and truthfully quite rude, but once you get past that you'll have a great time. The decor is super sexy and so many attractive people, especially the servers! What an awful place. At first I showed up with my female friend to meet two coworkers that spent $550 to get a table and the ice queen hostess smiled like she was saying something nice while telling us she's not going to let us in unless we spend another $550 on another bottle. Finally after calling our friend he came down and convinced her to allow us to enter. Then, after hanging out at the table for around 1.5 hours, another hostess came up and in a similar most bizarre manner told us with a smile that she's re-selling the table since we had gone down to the dancefloor for a little. I'm never one to complain but this was borderline theft, and this place represents the worst of LA; avoid it in droves. read more

Not a huge fan of this place. They try to make it look exclusive at the door by making everyone wait outside forever to build up a line, and then when you go inside you realize it's not worth the wait. Smoking area is tiny and everyone is crammed together. The guy at the door the decides who gets in and who doesn't is really arrogant... It's not fun going into a club when someone ruins your mood, and by the time they let people in, you don't even feel like clubbing anymore. I only gave them 2 stars because the place has potential, but they need to change their attitude and manage it differently. read more

My wife and I came here for a drink at 10:00pm (I.e. right when they opened and zero people were inside). They declined our service...for no reason at all. We aren't ugly either. Even though I had reserved a table for my friends, they would not let us in since it was "overpacked". We drove all the way there for NOTHING. So, I read a review highlighting their lack of welcome for folks of color and thought, naw, it can't be like that. Well, I was wrong. It is. I'm sure if you are connected, or the token it is not a problem. But I showed up there on time as the guest of someone who arranged with the promoter for a table, and yes, there were a lot of us but all were confirmed to the promoter, and only 5 of the white girlfriends were let in before the rope was stopped before the rest of us including myself, other girls, male guests, and even the girl who made the arrangements!!! Yes, she was black. And no, no one was intoxicated, or any of the sort. This was our big plan for the night that had been in the works for 2 weeks so everyone was prompt and ready to have a great time there. And she even told the group that "we" (all 4 of us suburban bred folk of color) needed to be on our "best behavior" because this club can be...well "that" way. Little did we know! So 1/3 of the group is in and one of our girls comes out, disgusted because after the privilege of getting in she overheard said promoter say: "I don't like this, I'm picking quality over quantity, I'm not letting the rest in." Not even the damn girl who you set it up for? WOW. Watching her stand there against the rope pleading, asking, and explaining to any bouncer who would half listen was too much for me. We were all well dressed, and ironically all work in the industry so we're not flying with mud ducks if you know what I mean. Not to mention money was already arranged to be paid to the server of our reserved promoter table. Their reasoning to us? "We're at capacity". For a reserved table that you knew about? How convenient. Okay. Too bad that was a lie since our friends that WERE allowed in came out and told us what was up inside; that it was no where near full, had a lame vibe, and bad music. I guess it was our luck to not be let in. End of story- if you meet the hollywood standard (re:young and white or the only token) have a ball! Otherwise find somewhere else to spend your time and money. Yeah, that's club life in LA, but this ain't NYC. Take several seats, Warwick. It's a great club... once you're inside! My family has a good reputation among the club scene and I went to Warwick having spoke to one of the promoters ahead of time. Expecting to walk in with myself and another female without a problem was wishful thinking apparently. Normally it's not a problem here but this particular evening the front door man Dean was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Just getting his attention was a task. Once he finally gave me 10 seconds of his precious time, I told him I'm on a list and another promoter should have texted him. He just said oh well he's not here right now so you're outta luck, then walked away before I could say anything else. I tried to get him to look at the texts on his phone the promoter was currently sending but he just rolled his eyes at me 2 times before I gave up and went elsewhere. It was busy at the time but Dean wasn't overly exerted or anything, he was very much available to speak to anyone coming up to him at the front. I watched him disrespect multiple others that tried to come up to speak with him as well. I understand it's very hectic running a trendy Hollywood club but you don't need to treat people like absolute crap for no reason. I will not be giving them anymore business just because this one guy was so incredibly rude and inconsiderate. We ended up having a wonderful night at playhouse where we dropped a few grand.... Came here last night and all the other reviews are true in saying that the bouncers treat you like garbage. My friend and I went up to the bouncers and respectfully asked if there was a cover charge or even a line to get in. There was a line area, but no line- just people running over each other and waving money around to catch the bouncer's attention. The bouncer just looked at me and said, "You're not getting in." And then he and the other bouncer proceeded to allow other people (undoubtedly their friends by the way they spoke to each other) in. Such BS - will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Was recommended to try this place by a good friend (Caucasian woman) who frequents it whenever she is in LA. Was visiting from NY with two biracial friends and 2 other darker skinned beautiful women. They didn't want to let any of us in at first but then said that the 2 mixed girls could come in but not the rest of us. In the end it's their loss but it's sad that in this day and age we are still dealing with these types of racial issues. Disappointing experience for our bachelorette party. Reserved a couple months ago- table service, because the look was right for what we were looking for as a finale to our bachelorette weekend. We arrived and were taken to a small upstairs bar area, instead of main floor. Bride and group asked why we were seated upstairs, and could we be moved downstairs, and the table girl threatened the bride with a speech about being escorted out by security and how embarrassing it would be if she decided not to stay upstairs at the table we were given. At this point I would have asked for a manager but bride backed down- I found out later the table girl had said this to her. When we asked for simple mixers such as coke and Diet Coke, we were given a difficult time and one small 12 oz bottle of each was brought out. No water was offered all night . Music was typical hip hop club mix, not the best we have heard on the trip but sufficient. Coming from typically fantastic bottle service experiences in Houston, where our group of 8 is from, I was expecting at least equal if not better service at a nice lounge in Hollywood. Yes, lounge- this is not a dance club, there is no dance floor. We made the best of an unpleasant situation but buyer beware, if you are going to spend close to a grand on bottle service, there are better clubs to go to. I wish I had gotten the table girl's name, because she was unprofessional in her behavior and unhelpful even in basic tasks such as getting mixers or water. read more

I'm changing my review for a number of reasons. Since my last post, I was contacted by the manager who was very sincere and apologetic in my first experience and offered to give me a table, however, I don't need a table, the apology and the fact that he was genuine was all that I needed. In addition, I haven't had to wait in line when I have visited, and I love the decor on the inside. It's trendy, but doesn't give you that stuffy feeling either. It definitely has an outdoor feel but as an indoor venue. Here's the surprise, I actually have had a great experience thanks to the staff there. The security has always been more than helpful and friendly, and they make sure that you're being taken care of. The bartenders are amazing, yes the dance floor is a tad small, but throw them elbows up and you're good :) I love the music, and honestly, overall, the staff seem very genuine. Friday night, we had a $1500 table. While we had a good time, either the club itself or one of its employees stole and copied our credit card (when you get a table, they hold your license and card until the end of the night). We've had 20 fraudulent transactions on the card since Friday night with the first one being for $1105 at Warwick itself and then there's a bunch all over LA until this morning when the bank finally got a transaction at Sears in Chicago. These were all physical swipes of the card even though I still have the card in my possession. Beware! read more

I am a fan of the music and getting here a tad bit early on the weekends. If you are looking for a bar with music this is not the place as it is trendy with those kinds of people there. Love the old fashioned interior. The crowd was restless outside and pushy. Once inside I could see why and the lighting cast the perfect amount of lighting and dimness. The feeling was cool inside with plenty of good looking people. I got to sit and relax and dance with the one person I wanted to hang with all night. WARWICK IS GREAT! but the f***ing annoying photographer outside is rude and unwelcoming. He insulted my ethnicity and undermined my intelligence about my homeland. Just the right atmosphere for an LA/Hollywood social Lounge. Very open space with an easy flow, lighting and music were perfect for socializing. It was a good crowd and many of my friends said they would go back. It's good to see an upscale lounge open in Hollywood. read more

Definitely not the kind of place to expect to get in without reservations but worth it if you are looking for a classy night with gorgeous people. Came here the other night with a girl friend and had an incredible time ! The drinks were super yummy and strong . the promoter who we had was super personable and respectful and I actually really enjoyed the crowd there , which is rare for me...... they have a new decor and it seriously gives off the coolest edgy yet almost bohemian vibe that almost takes you out of that "L.A" mindset. I went with my dad and uncle last weekend. We had some trouble getting in but only because my uncle was wearing a visible thong and there were some gawkers/hecklers around who took notice. Once we got in, as usual my dad started hitting on the best-looking guy there. He was miserably rejected so he took off alone, which left my uncle and I. Drinks were pretty good but could've been better priced. I'm used to $2 you call it's at Al's bar and grill in Tuscaloosa so you can't really blame me. The DJ was great and the music was pretty good - normal Top 40 stuff mixed in with oldies but goodies. Not high on the bathroom waits though. I had to wait in line for 17 minutes and my uncle became antsy. He started groping girls and guys alike. He brought in a flask of E&J and was hitting up the stalls every so often. I didn't realize how floored he was until he tried picking a guy's wallet and ended up grabbing the guy's package. Not good. He then got bounced out hard and ended up knocked out on the sidewalk outside with people walking over him. At that point it was just me so I made the best of the situation by inviting some ladies back to my apartment. That didn't go so well because my dad was passed out there on the kitchen floor with a box of cereal on his back, ugh. Cool place though. I'd go back. read more
