Ugh. You know that girl in high school? The one who thought that just because a lot of guys want to get at her she can treat people terribly? Warwick is that girl. At least the people at the door were. Came here last night with my bf and a crowd of three more girls and one more guy for someone's birthday. The other 4 were running late so le bf and I got there early because we heard the line could get long. Got there at 10:15 and were instantly turned away for not being on the guest list. My bf and I are a fairly good-looking, well-dressed young professional couple. But I guess that's the whole Hollywood, you must know someone to get in type scene in action. We're not one to let setbacks get us down. We looked great and were tipsy after chugging rum and diet in my car so we decided to take a stroll around. Ended up stopping in at this great gastropub called District 13 - would highly recommend for a great craft brew and an appetizer. Anyways, the rest of the crew pulled up in their Uber around 11 and the other guy with us began trying to talk to the door man. He is much more of a smooth talker than me and my bf (and has fun playing that whole door game). Long story short, we got in about 30 min later. To the lady with the bedazzled clipboard out front: your clipboard is awesome. Your attitude is not. I will not be coming back. The annoyed patron at the door in me would like to give it one or two stars but the fact is, once we got in it was pretty cool. The pretentiousness seemed to stop at the door with the lady and her bedazzled clipboard. The lounge itself was beautiful - i loved all of the art on the walls and all of the decorations. The bartenders too were extremely friendly and helpful - I tried one of the specialty cocktails (Warwick Cup I think?) and it was amazingly delicious. Bottom line: if the pretentious Hollywood scene is your thing, this is probably your place. read more

I wonder if the investors of this lounge know about the balding doorman who's given authority to decide who to let in and who not to? A friend and I with four hot girls got there at 9pm after we had dinner at Katsuya Hollywood. We valet parked the cars and went up to the door (no body in line at this time). It was one of the girls' Bday and as soon as the doorman heard that the price of admission went up to $1500 minimum for a table otherwise he wouldn't let us in. My friend and I both prefer premium drinks and we wouldn't have ordered otherwise for the girls. I don't doubt our bill would have been less than $500 so I'd say that's a big loss for this bar. It seemed valet guy was used to this and said he would not charge us if we wanted to leave but we ended up going next door to Boulevard 3 and had a great time there. read more

This place was AWESOME!!!! Talking about a 'target rich environment' There were pretty women EVERYWHERE!!! A friend of mine has a website that has all the cool lounges called www.underraidar.com and this was on that website. The photos looked good and the yelp reviews said good things, so I checked it out. Luckily, I was dressed stylishly and came early. The guy let me in and I subsequently ran into security upstairs and they told me that it is reservation and guest list only, so I was lucky to get in. Also, when I left there was a HUGE line with a lot of pretty women waiting. The place is nothing short of opulent. Love the chandelier and the decor. They also just re-did the second floor to this asian theme and all the waitresses look hot in their asian outfits. The drinks were pricey $15 per pop. But they were ALL good. I had the Black Dhalia, the Warwick and the Shangri-la. Black Dhalia was sweet. The warwick was good. and the Shangri-la was interested. But all went down like Kool-Aid. The valet out front is $20. Here is a tip, Boulevard 3 next door charges $8 for parking and its just around the corner, so as you pass the Warwick, take your first right and then take another right into the boulevard parking lot. $8 is good. Bottle service is pretty ridiculous. I heard it starts at like $500 per bottle but that the tabs of $5,000 are not unusual with many of the celebrities coming there on Wednesday night. The place is nice but with all the tables, its a bit challenging to mingle. You are either going to be on the dance floor -- the music was great -- near the bar, or on the second floor. I think everybody that follows my reviews knows that I am single and I go to places to research so that when I do have a date, I know where to take them. Hardcore Hip Hip Rap UGH!!! I'm not sure if it's just Thursday Nights but for such an amazing club to be spewing Anger Rap (even if it's hip again) ruined our night and made me want to Vomit!!! Got denied after a blonde woman with 90s Jennifer Aniston highlights let two girls in with Forever 21 sweatshirts, no ID's and not on the guest list. She told me that "I let in whoever I want to let in and you do not have the look." If you're wearing Shoe Fab heels and Cucumber Melon lotion, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE! If you're wearing runway or shoes that you didn't buy on clearance or Payless BOGO sale, you may upstage the guest list lady and she won't like that. Don't complain about the door drama. Seriously, welcome to every club that's new always and forever. If you can't handle it, don't go. However, we got in right away. I looovve that it's more of a lounge than a club. I'm in my 30s and I'm not looking for a mosh pit or to LMFAO on a box. I'm looking for beautiful atmosphere and interesting people to chat with like listening to some decent jams, so thank you for that. Decor: A+ It's absolutely beautiful in here. Drinks: A+ The cocktail menu was a little sweet for my taste so I ordered an old fashioned which was very good. The bartenders were charming and helpful. Crowd: C It wasn't terrible but not great. It was my first time and I was with my friend and it was her 5th time. She said it was the worst crowd to date and normally the scene is a perfect mix. It was a little bridge and tunnel (yes I know there is neither a bridge, nor tunnel in LA, but I'm a New Yorker and you know what I mean) but it could have been an off-night. I'm not a huge review writer but with all the low scores given to this place and now that I've been there I can honestly say the negative reviews are mostly people not understanding the type of club, crowd or experience they are dealing with. You must have realistic expectations. This is 80% a bottle service club, if you don't want to pay for that that's all well and good, but then this likely isn't the venue for you. I'm sure they have some general admission but I'm also sure they can be selective on that general admission, supply and demand. If the club is full and most of the club is bottle service, the people waiting in line are going to have a tough time getting in. The complaints about the doormen being 'racist' are just poppycock. Our group Saturday was one White guy (me), a Latino Guy, a Black Girl, an Asian Girl (Buddy's Wife) and another mixed girl, we had no issues. Another complaint I read was about 2 guys going in at 1:00 in the morning and complaining about the table they got...Well it's 1:00 in the freaking morning and an hour from closing, the place was likely packed...of course your table sucked no matter what you paid. Make your reservation in advance, we arrived about 10:40 (We were first in), ordered our bottles, had a great spot and they comped us a Champagne bottle for my Birthday. The Management was friendly as can be and I have to give a HUGE shout out to the guy by the stairs, I'm so sorry I don't recall his name, it sounded like a Russian name to me (Serjay maybe?)...but he came across my Wife's small purse, held onto it (she misplaced it) and when he saw me he knew exactly who I was, knew she was with me and tapped me on the shoulder as I went by and handed me the missing bag. This was when the place was packed after 12:30, that guy has a GREAT memory for faces. I am truly sorry I cannot for sure remember his first name. It's pricey, but the place was packed to the rafters so good for Warwick. Atmosphere was fun, service was great, we never ran out of ice, mixers or anything else. Didn't like the attitude at the door. Model or not everyone gets the treatment here. I arrived and it was a bit rainy and my two friends were kept outside for a while and it was early. They told me the bouncer at the door gave them a hard time. I told him I will give this venue low rating. It's not right to keep girls outside in the rain especially when there's no line & the place is sitting empty. Nice decor to be fair, but they need to put their act together. Drinks are expensive even with L.A standards, not a deal breaker for me, but combined with their poor attitude, the place looses it's appeal. read more

Came here for a birthday after party and it was fun! On a Saturday night, it was pretty packed. We had two tables by the DJ booth so I didn't get to see the crowd much but it was definitely a great place to throw a party. Upstairs was interesting Chinese themed bar. For Hollywood, this is a typical bar. The crowd is douchey, the men are disgusting, and the girls think they are the next big thing. The ambiance and decor is neat and it's got a small upstairs area. I went with some people who frequent this place. I am typically a West Sider.... I wouldn't go back unless I was in the Hollywood area. Bartenders were quick to serve despite it being busy. The music was pretty decent. I like how they had lots of seating available it felt like a big great room. Not to sound superficial... But Warwick is truly the "IT" place to be seen. Fancy people, beautiful staff, great service and classy ambiance. Need I say more? What I like about this place is that it is a true lounge. Not a nightclub. You definitely want to dress to impress and come in with a vivacious attitude. Because you will never who you'll meet next! What I love is that they sometime provide live music performance. There aren't too many places in LA that are considered HOT SPOTS that play live music other than Sayar's Club (in my opinion have a similar look and feel). This is what you have to know: If you're a guy, you need to make a reservation. Table minimum is $1500 (before tip) for 8 or less. Get a group of friends and pay for the table. If you get there before 11pm, you'll be fine. If you don't want to make the reservation or don't have the money, make sure you have 3 girls with you and see if you can smooth talk the door guys. Otherwise, you're SOL. Being a guy, I've dealt with door guys from all levels - the door guys here are doing their job but they are hardly easy with guys. It's a little more subjective for girls. If you're cute, you'll probably get in if you are with a group of girls. If you want to bring your BF, you're not guaranteed to get in. The place is cool. Staff is top notch. Feels like someone's living room. We got a table, and it was $$$. There is a guest list (friends of managers), and most of those guys who didn't have tables were likely on the list. I found these douchebags annoying. Jumping around and in our space. The crowd was really young. Most everyone I met was under 25. Wasn't a mature crowd save for a few, The place is recommended if you haven't been or from out of town and want a slice of LA nightlife. I give 4 stars + if I see myself going back in the near term. Tables are pricey but the venue is well decorated and the DJ spins a mashup of hip-hop/classics all night, very refreshing from all the EDM blasted at the clubs these past few years. One of the nicest clubs I've been to in LA. And I've been to a lot. This place is absolutely stunning. The trees and lights inside makes it feel like it's a high end club. I'll say this is more of a lounge than a club but there is a small area in the front for you to dance if you want. There's a live dj as well. Second floor has an area for you to chill as well and it also has another bar. From what I've heard, a lot of celebrities come here. I hope to come back here more for other events. read more

So I heard through the grapevines that this place is pretty exclusive and hard to get into and that the lines can be long too. Luckily, I went on a night where I was able to get in smooth sailing. I was quite impressed with the setup and decor. It was really pretty inside. I was expecting it to look like a small bar. My expectations were on the low end. This place has a small second floor where you can look out into the crowd below. The main bar was on the 1st floor in back and it was pretty big. Compared to the other places I have been to, I can say that the bartenders are pretty quick on their feet. I think my friend and I visited the bar at least 5 times. The only thing I was bummed about was that they don't serve amf drinks. Lame. We had to look at their drink menu. If you want a strong mixed drink, the long Island will do. Music the night I went was mainly old school hip hop. It was great, but not for the younger crowd who were bored lol Guess they should have drank more... Valet is $20. This. Place. Sucks. I understand that it's a cool club, but the bouncers took it waaaay too far tonight. Ive been in LA visiting my younger sister while she's in law school, and Warwick hosted a college night for the schools in the vicinity. I went to meet her, and immediately was greeted by a group of really nasty bouncers. My sister was outside waiting for me, and had been assured by said bouncers that getting me in would be no issue. So i went to the entrance and approached the rope to find her, but was immediately greeted with hostility. The bouncers proceeded to pat my friends and i down wayyy too throughly (invasion of privacy), and tried to find every excuse to not let us in because I had 2 guy friends with me (even though they had told my sister it would be fine, she had asked in advance ). Long story short, I wasn't allowed in tonight because I had too many guys with me. The bouncers were rude as f**k, and completely disregarded the fact that my sister had paid a lot of money to get me and my friends in and had waited so long to come get us. This is a fairly new lounge/club and I can't describe how beautiful it is! I loved the layout and that it didn't feel so much like a club. The drinks were delicious and crafted with unique ingredients. All of which will cost $17 a piece. There is a second floor that has a few couches if you want to have an intimate conversation and snuggle up with someone. The first floor is where bottle service happens and there is still room for dancing in between the tables and sofas which is cool. I also enjoyed the two fireplaces they had on. The art decor consists of two women in the nude but it's Hollywood so don't be surprised. I came here as a little farewell party for my last day of work. It was very chic! I really liked the interior. We mostly hung around the bar but I had a quick look around. It was around 10:30/11ish pm on a Friday night, and it wasn't really too crowded surprisingly. It did get a little more filled up by the time we left (which was prob around midnight or so). It's def more of a lounge than a club. There's no distinguishable dance floor but there were definitely girls dancing around their tables. I think it'd be pretty cool to get bottle service (although not sure if it'd be "worth it". I guess it depends on what you're looking for for that night). I have come to Warwick a few times with promoters but the last time I was there my friend was at a promoter's table with me and someone ended up spiking her drink. Awesome venue! The place is super cute with a nautical feel, not sure if it was just the Saturday night I went or if it's like this throughout the week. The waitress/waiters were dressed up as sailors and were all very pleasant. They kind of just stood around though, maybe not enough bottle service yet? I arrived around 9:30-10 and didn't know we had to have reservations. The doorman was nice enough to just let us in without any wait. The bouncers, on the other hand, are a bit tougher to deal with. Super strict with where you stand outside... I guess that's common in LA/Hollywood though.. but super annoying!! Since it was kind of early, we got to sit at the tables that were empty until of course, the bottle service was purchased. No biggie though. The bar had good cocktails but weren't strong. I had some type of watermelon infused one, I can't remember the name, and it was quite tasty but it didn't do anything haha. Music was ok from what I remember.. there's no dancefloor so just expect to be dancing randomly or at a table. This place is pretty rad for Hollywood. Came in on a Friday night and had zero problem getting in with two of my guy friends. The venue itself is gorgeous with a definite feel of Art Deco theme, along beautiful people. We were at a table, and the sections are not small and compact. Went here last minute with a group of six. Three girls three guys. I'm pretty familiar with the way Hollywood works so I knew what we were getting into. I did not however expect the doorman to ask for $300 to get everyone in before midnight. We waited about half hour in total and he ended up letting us in juuuuust before we were going to bounce. I was able to check out Warwick for a magazine launch party and had a great time. There are plenty of plush seating all around. The seating near the fireplace is my favorite spot. I loved the ambiance and interior is stunning! Definitely a notch up compared to most venues in the area. Good thing I didn't have to deal with the hassle of getting in. Not sure if I'd come back and deal with the lines though. The music that night (Thursday) was random. It was a bit of old school hip hop and then some alternative rock and some EDM. I hear drinks are expensive ($17). Good thing it was an open bar event! JFYI- There's one unisex restroom upstairs on the right hand side once you get to the top stairs. Again, the staff was great, friendly without being overbearing, and really help create the kind of "polished" club atmosphere that one would expect from a venue of this caliber. This place is absolutely beautiful. I really wish I had taken the time to take photos Warwick has an open layout on the first floor with a bunch of plush table seating. The staff were all so friendly, even the bouncer. It is so nice to get away from the trashy crowds at other Hollywood venues and escape here. The drinks were in the pricey side @$17, but they were honestly the best drinks and shots I have ever had in a long time! I actually really like Warick. Have been here a couple times, once on a Thursday and a few times on the weekends. First, Warick is a lounge, not a nightclub. The decor is really nice. Kind of art deco. They have a downstairs area that has seating, and bottle service, and an upstairs area with additional lounge seating, that is a litte more intimate. There really is not a designiated dance area, but people dance downstairs around the tables. Bottle service is average, but drinks are a little on the pricey side. Average is 17.00. They offer a wider variety of options though, and make a lot of unique mixed drinks that are really good. Crowd was good on the nights I went. Their strick at the door so it tends to be more of an upper end crowd. Lots of pretty girls, so thats a plus for the guys haha. Overall, nice new spot. read more

Caveat: Make sure you have the right ratio and that you are dressed up and even then you MIGHT still not make it in. Sadly this is how Hollywood rolls but if you DO get in, its pretty good looking place inside. I went in on a Saturday night (2 girls 1 guy) and I got in. "Who are you with?", "do you have a reservation?" filter from the door girl and the whole screening process of course. Bar tenders are great, drinks are good, layout is nice (themed after the almafi coast in Italy) upstairs is intimate and a great place to talk and downstairs eventually gets crowded and a makeshift dance floor happens in front of the DJ. Beautiful people everywhere and solid hip hop and top 40 music to dance too. 5 star customer service once you get in, but its def. a one star customer service sometimes at the door.
