Me and my gf went out and wanted to try this place out because it had different blend of Asian dishes. We ordered the Kani Salad, which was just a salad that they threw together and submerged in spicy mayo. Instead of the traditional cucumber and crab layered in spicy mayo. Entree: I ordered a yakisoba, the veggies were cold and chicken was under cooked. Instead of a stir fry in udon noodles it was angel hair and very unflavorful. My gf ordered a teriyaki bento, which comes with a soup and salad of choice. My gf asked for fried rice and didn't receive that. The chicken on her plate was very chewy and undercooked as well as the veggies. We never were asked about the soup or salad but based on the food we were terrified to try anything else. Wanted so nad for this to be my goto sushi place. First off, the tempura was overdone and greasy. Then the miso soup was Luke warm and seaweed chewy and tough. We have ordered from Wasabi many times and have spent a considerable amount of money at this restaurant. Food has been good but we had our food delivered past two times and gotten our rolls wrong via Uber eats. We tried to get this taken care of and we were told to prove it. They asked us to go dig the sushi roll out of the trash can to take pictures of it to send to them after digging in the trash. Needless to say we were shocked to be treated that way. I recently moved to Georgetown, and had not had good sushi in quite a while. I work for Waiter with Wheels, a local food delivery service, and Wasabi is one of the restaurants we deliver from. Every time I pick up food from Wasabi, it looks and smells amazing! With high expectations, my partner and I visited the restaurant a week ago, and then again today. Both experiences were excellent! Every sushi roll was exquisite, and the attention to detail on the rolls and the display was more than impressive. We ordered way too much sushi, and enjoyed every bite! So far, the lobster tempura roll is my favorite, but each roll was obviously made with fresh, tasty ingredients, and by a skilled sushi chef. We also have tried the egg drop soup, wonton soup, and the Singapore noodles, and all of them were AMAZING. To top it off, the staff is great. Sierra and the rest of the crew are always super friendly, and every time I pick up deliveries there or have eaten there, service is super efficient and everyone is really nice. I've worked as a waitress for many years, so my restaurant standards can be kind of high, so I am always really happy to find a place with amazing food and awesome people. The menu has a lot of offerings and I was imprssed with the sushi rolls. I ordered the Sashimi/sushi combo. Fish was very fresh, and tasty. If you go: Order the fresh sushi. Seemed the cooked items from the kitchen were prepackaged, frozen crap. We ordered an assortment of items. The fried calamari was greasy and bland. I ordered a teriyaki shrimp bento box and it came with rice, vegetable assortment, egg rolls, pot stickers, etc. The fried items were again greasy. Kind of had that old oil taint. The shrimp were simply grilled. Almost over cooked, which is better than under. But, there was no teriyaki flavor. The vegetables under the shrimp were fantastic. Had lots of flavor. That flair didn't transfer to the shrimp. I sent it back and asked that it not be replaced but they brought out another plate of shrimp anyway. And of course, it was the same unseasoned, bland, no teriyaki flavored quality as before. To me, the best compliment I can give is to finish everything on the plate. The second best is to ask for a box. The worst, and should be a huge clue on how they're doing, is to have lots of crap left and then turn down an offer of a take home box. Meaning the food isn't even box worthy. But, my son ordered sushi and loved it. And I did see that other diners were enjoying their sushi. So... Get the fresh stuff if you go. read more

The both put together some of the most delectable rolls, hand rolls, special rolls and sashimi. This is my personal goto place for unagi don, as it is always fresh and flavorful. There are so many amazing selections that will keep you coming back time after time trying new things with each visit. My personal favorites would have to be the; "Out of Control" roll. A roll exploding with unagi (eel), cream cheese, and avocado inside topped with tuna, yellowtail, salmon, masago, and scallions drizzled with a sweet yet savory eel sauce. "Millionaire" roll. This roll is stuffed with soft shell crab then topped off with unagi, fresh avocado then drizzled with eel sauce and Japanese mayo. Then of course you can never go wrong with sashimi if you are a raw fish lover like me and it's reasonably priced. The service is always top notch Shelby and Desiree go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful dining experience. Okay, so I just ordered Age(dashi) Tofu and Chicken Teriyaki Bento. Agedashi Tofu? Nope. Not even close. Clumps of tofu chunks (and left over pieces) all dipped in a thick batter, and deep fried, so several pieces still stuck together. Dipping sauce was supposed to be served hot, but it was cold. Chicken Teriyaki was pretty badly done. Very runny sauce rather than a thick glaze, hardly any flavor whatsoever. Took a bite on a huge piece of ginger as well. The vegetables served with it were okay, but were drowning in sauce. The sushi was completely inedible. Rice should have at least a touch of vinegar flavor, yet, it tasted old. Filling was for california roll, but the avocado they used and the surimi they used made for a very nasty combination. All in all, won't be back. Panda Express is a far better choice - and they're closer. read more
