First and Foremost I would like to say thanks for their office staffs, dental assistants, & doctors they are really friendly, helpful & kind. Flashback in 2015 they helped my mom for tooth extraction and full denture as well, everything went perfect without any problems. Fast forward in 2019 they cleaned my tooth and they performed tooth extraction for my 4 wisdom tooth and everything went well, after a week from surgery I was fully recovered without any problems, in my own opinion they have one of the best oral surgeons out there. This place SUCKS. went in 10/16 bc they advertise "Free Exam & Digital X-Rays from all new patients" on their website and I have been dealing with tooth pains. At the end of my appointment I was told I needed a root canal in that tooth and a list of a bunch of other things I needed done with a total of 5k, I let Martha know it was too much for me and I couldn't pay that all at once, they offered a payment plan & pressured me into making a decision without giving me time to think and just standing over me waiting for an answer. She had me sign papers without CLEAR explanation of the forms. I had a follow up appointment 10/23 to begin the root canal. On 10/20, I gave them a call after lots of thinking and asked to cancel everything and that I'd no longer like to proceed bc I CANNOT AFFORD IT. the girl I spoke to showed no empathy and just convinced me to come in 10/23 and they'd "help me get a partial refund" I called a second time to confirm I will be receiving that refund because if not I'd like to cancel obviously... Leasle let me know Martha would be giving me partial refund, so I settled for that and kept my appointment. When I came in 10/23, the first thing I wanted to discuss was the partial refund. Martha comes over and let's me know that "it needs to be reviewed by upper management" and proceeds to convince me to start my root canal and we'd discuss that later. I told her what Leasle said over the phone and she said it wasn't true... at this point i'm so upset, I lost a day of work (a job a JUST started) and literally only kept the appointment because I was told i'd get the partial refund. They all head to a room to discuss and a rude girl comes out and the first thing she says is "are you going to get the work done today or not we have a specialist here and if you don't get the work done you will be charged a fee for them coming out here" literally did not care to hear me out and just lacked empathy completely. I say no bc I was lied to, she then said i'd be charged for the exams & x-rays, and 50% of the loan if I want to cancel everything. EVEN IF I GET NO WORK DONE.. and that the loan company would side with them because of that contract. I said OK and left because I KNOW contracts can be broken and by LAW you cannot charge someone for a service that was never provided. So let me first say that this will be an ongoing review as my current plan of care will extend over 7 visits and I want to keep you guys up to date. I am always very honest in my reviews. I am getting a deep cleaning, extraction, veneers and crowns...pray for me! Initial Visit/New Patient Consult: My appt was for 2pm, since I knew I would need to complete paperwork I came 30min early. The doors were open but the front office empty and the lights off which was a little weird. I sat and waited and someone came in about 15 min later. This could be a problem for some new patients so I would atleast put a sign on the counter if no one is going to be there and the doors are open. Maybe some nice music or a tv. However, once she came in she was super sweet. Other patients began to trickle in and I will say the customer service and friendliness of the two girls that work the desk is A1. I was impressed with how familiar they were with their patients. I was seen very quickly and the dr (a woman not the men I see in the pictures) and Martha (one of the front desk girls) were very informative and helpful. Martha gave me a plan of care detailing what would be done, how much it would cost each visit, and some info on no interest financing. Super duper helpful. Overall, the process from my initial call to the moment I walked out were all great with the slight concern with the whole empty office thing. They charged 12,000$ for implant for 1 tooth and crown for another I have had trouble with it ever since the implant had fallen off note the crown broke off and they are trying to cost me another 4000$ to pull the stub out and implant another they also did a bridge on my mother and the way they left one of the tooth on the top bridge it was too long and it broke one of my moms bottom tooth, I do not recommend at all read more

The front office staff at Washington Dental tricked me into getting treatment that was not urgent and pressured me into signing for an unnecessary loan without billing my dental insurance first like we verbally agreed! Not only was the dental work inadequate, the staff was rude and refused treatment! I even called another dental office and spoke to their office manager and she said she would call them to see what really happened and get back to me. So far no response from her either. I am out of the state and a permanent bridge that was unnecessary removed and replaced with cheap materials, broke twice leaving me toothless, in pain, disfigured and disgusted! (I had to postpone a trip costing me an additional $300 in order for them to redo the first Bridge. It broke within a week! The one they removed was there for 10 years, never had a problem with it and I told them I was not in pain.) The second bridge was stronger, but it came out also leaving me in agonizing pain and suffering! The front office staff is very playful, and showed concerned about fashion but not professional and they became rude because they did not want me to be upset about this situation. I was extremely loud and began to use profanity when they became rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I am a senior citizen and I have been defrauded by Washington Dental in Carson and Carecredit and I would not recommend them to a family dog. But, because no one is being held accountable, they continue to hang up and refuse an appointment because they think I am rude! All of the front office should be FIRED! I have always had a beautiful smile until I received treatment from Washington Dental in Carson, now my teeth are starting to shift! They are money hungry and prey on senior pushing implants. I went in the office today and was told that they accept Medical insurance. I am new to Medical so before making an appointment I received all the information before arriving. I was told that because I have medical if I need fillings, root canal, cleaning, and many more that Medical will be billed and in some cases a patient pay an out of pocket fee of $5. Fast forward I went to my appointment and the customer service was great upon arrival. After seeing the doctor I was told I needed a few fillings, root canal, cleaning, and braces. They came with a bill with a total of $9000.00. I laughed inside because I got Medical information before making the appointment. I asked for a break down so that I can have an idea if I wanted to move forward. They said they couldn't unless I accepted the care. RED FLAG. I smiled and said ok. Another women wanted to help persuade me and said just so you know the other Medical Dental Offices don't have real Orthodontist. Again, I laughed inside and said thank you with a smile. I am disappointment that this office is trying to fraud Medical patients and also giving false information on other medical offices that abide my Medical dental rules. I went home and double checked with Medical and the rep told me they are not abiding by medical dental rules. I was correct! Please do not go to this office. Please read. In February 2021, Washington Dental misrepresented treatment costs for wisdom teeth extraction. My wife and I spent the following months trying to get back our full deposit for services never rendered but Fabiola stood by their 50% deposit contract despite us not having a mutual understanding of treatment and costs (she herself said that she didn't know how it was explained to us via email). My wife and I spent the following months pursuing our full deposit and went to the Dental Board to notify them of unethical billing practices. Because of this, Washington Dental did not even want to refund us the initial 50% because they said it made the contract null and void and they get to keep the entire $1800 deposit. With no other options, we filed for small claims court. They continued to threaten us via email, saying they would charge us for the dentists time of $5,000 in court and repeatedly stated that they have won small claims court everytime they went. On 6/18, the Compton small claims court judge awarded us our entire deposit back because Washington Dental was in violation of the California dental board code of ethics 7.A.3 in which "A dentist shall avoid billing for services not rendered. If payment has been received for a service that is ultimately never rendered, the dentist shall arrange to refund any overpayment immediately." Before going to Washington Dental, please be aware of their fraudulent billing practices. They only want your money. read more

Make sure to get a second opinion from another dentist office after visiting washing dental. My procedure bill went from $6,000 to less than $2,500. During my first exam I talked to one of the front desk girls, she explained to me the work that needed to be done and how much it would cost. She took the time to help me apply for financing. (I was approved for the amount). A couple days later, after I went for a second opinion I was surprised about how much I was being overcharged. I had to cancel my appointment at Washington dental. Going back to how I was approved for financing. I was approved for the remaining balance I had left. I decide to cancel my appointment at Washington dental (after second opinion) I called Wells Fargo and asked about my recent activity (thinking I should be able to use the financing somewhere else). The customer service rep notified me that my application was rejected. However, because an old filling I had broke I was in a lot of pain and needed to see the dentist asap. I made an appointment after reading a few reviews online. I must say that I highly recommend the staff at Washington Dental. I was almost 30 minutes late to my appointment and they still made time to see me. I had a deep cleaning and the hygienist was super gentle. They gave me a break down of the cost and what my insurance would and would not cover and also gave me info about financing. They also gave me a goodie back with a toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash. This is definitely going to be my dentist from now on. I started going to this office in September 2017. Everything was okay until I started noticing things that weren't professional or appropriate. I went in with minor tooth ache, and after a sensitivity test, it was determined I needed a root canal. I went somewhere else for a second opinion and I only needed a filling. Went back here since it was close to work. I did a couple cleanings which a couple ladies doing the work were very nice and friendly (one Asian and the other Caucasian). I asked for a 7 year old crown to be replaced in late 2018, but I was told I didn't need it and we went back and forth. My insurance allows me to replace it after 5 years. Still not sure why I was told no when I knew they were able to replace it with better quality material. I already knew they were wrong all along, but I really don't like going back and forth. I'm an HR Manager and have been in the profession for 12 years so I know a thing or two about benefits and ethics. I would have rated this place 4/5 stars during my first few visits. Most recently, I went last week because of moderate pain. Doc told me she would work on the tooth. She recommended night guard. One of the assistants started getting stuff prepped and said, "we are prepping you for impressions". I did not agree to buy guard. One of the front office girl came over to tell me the price $397. Then a second one came to question me why I wasn't going to get it and didn't seem pleased I said I was pending a follow up with previous dentist. She came back and told me, "Doctor cannot work on the tooth unless you buy the night guard". I was in shock since I know this is NOT how it works or how services are provided. Not sure what type of techniques they use to maximize profits off you, but this is unethical. I left and went to another place the next day. They fixed 2 of my teeth without any questioning or pressure to buy any of their products. read more

I am so bothered. I spent over $12,500 1 1/2 years ago to get my top front teeth fixed. I got one root canal, 3 porcelain crowns, and one implant. one of my front crowns broke off while I was in Washington state for a funeral and so I had a dentist check it there and it was on the tooth that this office did the root canal and placed a crown on. The dentist I had check it said it was cracked and that's why it had broken off. Corinna from this office said it was something I bit into and what did I expect I have had the teeth for 2 years now. And then tried to make me feel better by adding that the rest of my teeth came out good"didn't they?". For one, I bit into regular white bread that wasn't even toasted and had just cheese and cold cuts in it. She tells me there is nothing they can do but pull my tooth and charge me another $4,349.00 to fix it with an implant. How negligent! Not pleased with this office at all . I've spoken to 2 other people who are just as displeased with this office right here. Karen showed so much care towards me and made me feel so comfortable when I was going through some of the hardest times of my life, she always made me feel welcomed and assured me that I would be fine, she is one great person. Im sitting in my car pissed as fvck writing this review. I used to rave about this dentist to everyone I knew!!!! I recommended them to so many people! This will be the last time I ever come here!!! Let me give you a little bit of background. The first time I came my experience was amazing. I was scheduled a few months later (Fall of 2017) for cleaning I believe. I waited, and waited, and waited. Mind you I had to call off work early to come to the appointment. I waited about 30 mins and asked when am I going be put in a room? The girl in the front says the dr is behind. Okay and you couldn't tell me sooner? Ok, so I wait some more. I waited 1.5 hrs and I'm like wtf?? What's going on?? The girl again says "I'm sorry, the dr is really behind" THEN WHY THE FVCK DONT YOU ASK ME IF I WANT TO RESCHEDULE SINCE YOU HAVE ME WASTING MY TIME SITTING THERE WAITING?!?!?! I walked out and left. Now to this appointment, a girl from the office called me last week and asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment for cleaning. I'm like you know what... let me just try them again since they were good the FIRST time I tried them. An appointment was scheduled for Monday 1/21. She asked if I had changed insurance and I said yes but I haven't received my card in the mail because I just started my new job. I asked my HR for the dental insurance info and I gave it to Nora. And all was good. I remember Nora scheduling me for 12 but I call this morning to verify the time and the lady who answered said it's at 11:30. I'm like really? I thought it was at 12? But okay see you at 11:30. I show up around 11:20 and get greeted. They get my name and info and put me down (took no less than 2 minutes) I waited 40 minutes and still hadn't been called in to the back room. I'm not going to deal with this sh1t for a second time so I get up and ask what's taking so long? My appointment was 40mins. The girl at the front looked confused and says "your appointment is at 12" I'm like no! I called this morning to confirm and the girl who answered said 11:30. She said so you know who you spoke to when you called this morning? I said no but I called at 9:04am I'm sure you can check on your computer or something. She goes okay let me check.... nope! She couldn't tell me who answered the phone and Sure enough the dumbass who answered the phone this morning lied and said my appt at 11:30 when it was really at 12. Here's the icing on the cake..... she goes "oh by the way there is a problem with your insurance. We couldn't verify you." So you're telling me when I have you all my dental plan insurance info last week you couldn't call me back and tell me there was an issue??? Then she says "well it's because we don't charge for X-rays and cleaning" I said that's not the point! What if I needed extra work done and you hit me with "by the way we can't verify you" WHAT THE FVCK!!! not only is this such an inconvenience because I had to take off work but this is unprofessional bullsh1t!
