Another place quoted me almost the same price for 2 batteries! I will definitely go back here the next time I need any watch related service. I needed a new battery and I first took my Casio G-Shock to a shop near my house. They damaged the watch mechanics and the watch no longer worked. I took it to Thomas, who immediately could see the issue and he set out to fix the tiny parts that had been damaged. When it became apparent it was not an easy fix, I told Thomas not to bother spending any more time on it. The time he was going to put into it wouldn't be worth it on a $100 watch. But he wanted to fix it anyway, for the original "new battery" price he quoted. He's the kind of person who prides himself on doing a good job, and once he opened the watch, he didn't want to give up. I had to insist he quit, and accept the $25 I originally agreed to. Even though he spent time on the watch, he refused the money, telling me he hated to see me leave without my watch working. I couldn't adjust the time and date on my grandmother's watch because the crown kept falling off. I talked to Doc over the phone and he said maybe the stem that is connected to the crown might have broke. I took it in the next day and Doc said it wasn't broken but it was very rusty and dirty, so he cleaned it up and oiled the stem and made it like new! Thanks Doctor! read more
