The one thing you always fear, cold shower. It was 25 years old so time to get it replaced. I called water heater doctor and they were able to come out the next morning. John the service tech came out at 9:30 inspected the area. He told me that the unit was installed really close to the HVAC and the copper pipe was really short. Basically said my unit was the worst he's seen. I was fearing that he may have to mess around with the HVAC but 20 minutes later he had the bad unit unconnected and an hour later the new unit was installed. He had to cut into my wall due to the copper pipe was short. I told him I could have my son-in-law patch it but John went to his shop and came back and patched the holes. I was starting to notice some trouble with my hot water heater. After searching for some information online, I found out that it could be a few possible things that had gone wrong. I found out the thermocouple was out. After browsing for services in this particular issue, I ended up calling these guys and I'm glad I did. They asked me the age of the water heater and told them it that it was only 5 years old. Them being an honest business, they advised me that I can call the company of the water heater and all the parts will be covered under warranty since it's less than 6 years old. I called the warranty company and they sent out the parts to me. I really wanted Water Heater Doctor to be the ones to come and repair the part, but they were booked so far in advanced. I ended up going with a different company just because I couldn't stand another cold shower. I actually ended up calling them again just to let them know it all worked out and I thanked them for giving me the cheaper and more helpful solution. It ended up being Mike who I had talked to twice. Mike was an awesome guy. He was very knowledgeable about water heaters and plumbing. Overall, this company and their employees are honest. If I need to get my water heater fixed I will always go with them just for being so up front with me. read more

Yesterday morning I went to take a shower and I couldn't get any hot water. I thought I was just super tired or something and had to check again to see if I had turned on the right knob.
