We eat breakfast here at least 1 day of the weekend. Their breakfast tacos are delicious, salsa must be homemade. The pancakes are better than any place I have ever eaten them including I Hop. Biscuits are fluffy, piping hot and delicious. The staff are attentive, courteous and friendly. This is our new place for when the weekend rolls around, won't be making the trip back to old Magnolia for breakfast anytime soon. It gets 5 stars alone for the food and 4.5 for the staff ( nobody is perfect). Lol I would encourage anyone to stop in for some good food. lol read more

Stopped in this morning to have breakfast quaint little breakfast and brunch restaurant the food was good I got the cowboy omelette which is supposed to come with sausage in it and after getting it I realize there really wasn't but 4 small pieces of sausage in it.I would've been better off just ordering the regular cheese omelette but the egg was very fluffy drawback you pay extra to have meat and something and there was no meat in or very it maybe four little pieces my wife her breakfast she enjoyed she got scrambled eggs and hashbrowns again the eggs were very fluffy and light The wait staff was friendly but very slow I think once the restaurants open a little bit more they can work on the wait staff we would definitely try it again read more

Ok, what the heck. This place is delicious! Might be my favorite biscuits and gravy to date? We've been driving by this place all this time and finally decided to go in after reading the reviews. My husband got the chicken fried steak and loved it. I got the Big Biscuit- fantastic! Service was good too. And the water didn't taste gross (big pet peeve of mine). Well..... not on the list to return anytime soon. We were passing through and wanted some brunch. As were were walking to the door the picture of their plates were not appetizing and I asked the wife if she wanted a different place and she said they have 4 stars it will be fine. Wife order simple bacon & eggs plate and she was happy as she is very picky about her eggs. The $18 steak and eggs plate is not really worth it in my opinion. The steak was dry and did not really have any flavor. Service was ok and uninterested. Should have orders a coke instead of iced tea. Sorry cannot justify 3 stars as i feel I could chef this up better. read more

I had a late breakfast there and was amazed. I feel silly because it took me over a year to stop in. I live less than a mile away. Here's what I found. The first thing is all the servers are still wearing masks, even though mask and Covid restrictions are dropping quickly. This made me feel comfortable and appreciative as we work through the transition. I ordered coffee and the 'cowboy' breakfast, which is 2 eggs/3pieces of bacon/hash browns and a biscuit. It was so good, and fresh that I wasted no time finishing it. The bacon was perfectly cooked, the eggs fluffy and flavorful, the biscuit was clearly homemade and huge. I'll be back later in the week for lunch. If breakfast was any indication of quality, I can only assume lunch/dinner are equally good. My compliments to the owners and staff. read more

Came in the am, party of 6. Was told didn't have a table available, it would be a 15-20 min wait our party agreed we would wait. Stood outside for 25 min, while 8 or more people walked in and was seated immediately. After 25 min called and asked if they remembered we were still waiting outside, the lady responded laughing Yeah but there were just more walk-Ins so we sat them instead of holding a table for you. Unacceptable, I will never back.... Trust me the food is not worth it read more

I went to waterfall cafe I normally go every other weekend. But, I walked in ordered my food, which was correct and well made tasted great. However, the waitress was one of the laziest I've seen in a while. I don't know if she was sick or having a rough time. But, she would look over and let her co-workers server me. It's cool and all but if your going to sit there lay your head down and chit chat or be in your phone. The service industry isn't for you. If I know your name I would put you on blast. I work hard for my money and you should too. If your sick or tired or sore. I've been there if you want good tips then at least take the time to fill the person drink and not look over. You are lucky I even tipped you. Here's some advice from someone who worked in that industry. No, matter how tired you are or sore or how much you want to go home. Say something to the person your serving they will respect you more. Don't blow them off. Other then that have a good day. I hope your day gets better. read more

Tried this place for breakfast on a Sunday. It had a huge breakfast menu. The decor was kind of Southwest theme? Still not sure how the name or the theme tie together or the menu ties in with the theme. They have all kinds of foods on the menu. Anyway. Tried the chilaquiles. Came with refried beans and skillet potatoes. The chilaquiles were really good. Had the right amount of red sauce over the corn tortillas. My eggs oozed perfectly over the tortillas when cut with a fork. My only gripe was that the potatoes had been cooked with lard and you could really taste it. But I didn't need potatoes anyway. The coffee was fresh and delicious. Nice to have somewhere close by for a change in magnolia. Definitely would recommend breakfast. They are open for lunch and dinner too. My family and I visited this new restaurant (that has been opened for 3 months) for breakfast this morning. Because my son and his wife went the weekend prior and said it was delicious! To my delight, as we walked in we were welcomed with smiling faces eagerly waiting to give us the most awesome service. Never did I nor my family raise up to ask for a refill on drinks. Coffee was awesome with land o lakes half and half and splenda. Menu was full of variety from country breakfast to Mexican breakfast, awesome waffles and pancakes. My son, 30 years had "The Fireman"- this is for the meat lover in the family- sausage, bacon, chorizo cooked with awesome graded perfectly cooked hashbrowns with 2 over easy eggs atop of it all. The entire plate was full with yummy goodness and towered high- of course toast on the side. My husband is a waffle connoisseur from way back, originally from Louisiana and he picked the waffle breakfast that included eggs and fried ham. He absolutely loved it, especially with CANE SYRUP that was served!!!! My daughter in law had Shrmp tacos with a side of refried beans (she chose to add the beans in her tacos), absolutely delicious, huge portions of fried shrimp and looked amazing!!! I had the atomic burrito that includes chorizo, eggs, potatoes and I added bacon and beans with a side of hot sauce- superb!!! They even have chappell hill sausage! This cafe tops IHOP and DENNY'S anyday!!! We sat close to the windows( which I enjoy at a cafe) to look outside on this beautiful day. We well be back to try their burgers and fries (which my son says are just as amazing). When we arrived at the restaurant this a.m. at 10:00 there were 3 cars outside. When we left at 10:40 the parking lot was getting full as well as the restaurant- but had plenty of tables as well as friend staff waiting to genuinely help! This is definitely the beginning of something "Huge" for "Waterfalls Cafe" as well as our area at 1488 and 2978. No need to go into The Woodlands for a breakfast when this awesome cafe is now in our backyard!!!!...Ready for the new addition at Gosling and 2920, Katy and Conroe (so I can tell my friends and family to not miss out).
