4.5 stars if I could! The cleaners that Wave has sent have consistently been great and the service is convenient and easy to use. If something happens where the scheduled cleaner can't make it, they restaff or reschedule for the next day. The only reason there are 4 stars instead of 5 is because 1. I can't do 1/2 a star and 2. the reply time when there is a reschedule on either side cAn be a bit slow but that is literally IT. Highly recommend! read more

Asked for an initial cleaning since I was a first time client, however the cleaning I received was far from what was promised. Floors were not vacuumed thoroughly, there were crumbs still on the kitchen floor. Not to mention their vacuum cleaner broke in the middle of the session, so they had to borrow mine. There was food splatter still left on the inside of the microwave door. Window sills and windows were not touched at all. There were dust and cob webs left on the book shelves and none of the four ceiling fans were cleaned at all either. None of the surfaces in the bedrooms were wiped down and left very dusty, nor the appliances in the kitchen. I did see that they mopped and cleaned the oven stove top, so I'll give them that. Needless to say I will not be asking this company to come clean my house again. It was a piss poor experience. read more

It is abundantly clear that the crews are simply trying to squeeze the cleaning into an hour. My "initial service" took exactly an hour and many MANY things that were supposed to be done were missed.The cleaning ladies were literally walking away from my front door when they informed me they were done. They did not give me the opportunity to tell them what they missed. They were clearly just trying to leave within an hour. With cleaning services overall your satisfaction will be based upon how clean you normally keep your home. I am fairly meticulous, so the below list of missed item was unacceptable to me. If you also have high standards you will most likely be disappointed. This was nothing more than a "light" cleaning/organizing... with no accountability or even chance to ask them to fix their mistake (literally they were walking out the door as they said "we're done!") Missed: baseboards missed, some rooms not even touched; not all furniture dusted, some clearly not touched; floors not cleaned to the edge of the walls, pushing dirt build up into the closets and light items not moved to clean floor, they cleaned around the items; oven not cleaned AT ALL (supposed to be part of initial cleaning); exterior kitchen cabinets not cleaned; shower heads not cleaned. read more

***Update: While I appreciate the responsiveness of the business owners, Juan, and Carla as I mentioned below, I personally can not recommend their service. I was refunded for my cleaning, but while they say they accept full responsibility, they also seem to excuse the poor mishandling of two separate cleaning crews they sent. The first team had no issue entering my building but they claim the second was unable...Yet, I was told the second team had checked in for their service when they had not. Had the second crew been unable to enter my building, I imagine that proper procedure would be to alert their management and have someone contact me - which they did not. It wasn't until I alerted them hours after the job should have been completed that they even knew no one had showed up. Sorry, Juan. Of course I would like to support family owned businesses but as I stated in my review and what I repeated in our call, was that at the end of the day I am paying for a clean apartment, not just kind customer service specialists. *** I'm glad it seems others had a positive experience, but unfortunately that was not the case with my use of Wave House Cleaning. The first crew that came did such a poor job (see attached photos taken immediately after service) that I requested another team be sent to resolve the situation. To their credit, I received a prompt response from Carla to reschedule for the complimentary cleaning to address all the missed areas. We scheduled a time and I prepped my apartment as well as left a detailed list of things that needed attention so there was no excuse for anything missed. Unfortunately, the second crew never came. I scheduled my day around the cleaning and came home to find no one had arrived! I left a detailed voice message and to be fair, Carla called me back very quickly but I was walking into work and did not have the chance to speak with her directly. She left me a VM explaining that the crew had "checked in" on their end. This left me even more disappointed. It was one thing when I assumed there was a miscommunication or delay with the second crew, but I was more angry that they apparently straight up lied and said they showed up. Keep in mind, I have a small one bedroom apartment. The initial cleaning service is supposed to be a 'deep clean' which includes oven, baseboards, light fixtures/ceiling fans, etc ... but even basic things like vacuuming and sweeping under the sofa (which sits a full 7" off the floor) were overlooked! I would say AVOID WAVE and look elsewhere... It's a shame because I liked their website and the Customer Service Rep was prompt and clear but that doesn't count for much when I am still left with a filthy apartment! read more

Don't even bother. I've used Wave cleaning a few times now and it's just been one issue after another. When you finally do get a cleaner, they won't be on time (my cleaner was almost two hours late), two they won't do a good job (floors still dirty, showers not fully cleaned, etc.) The cleaners have damaged items in my home and the company takes no accountability and I can NEVER get a straight answer as to why I'm "accidentally" overcharged. I have it a few tries and now I'm done. If you're looking for a cleaner, as around because this place isn't convenient, doesn't do a good job and inevitably wastes your time! read more

After multiple people raved about how their lives were changed for the better when they started paying for a house cleaner, my husband and I decided to take the plunge and chose Wave House based on the great reviews and prices that appeared to be reasonable. BOOKING: You can submit the time/date you want online, which seemed awesome and convenient, but they actually have to contact you to confirm. We are kind of antisocial and hate talking on the phone, so that was a downside. They verbally confirmed 11am as the time and said they'd be sending an email to document it. When we received the email the evening before our service, it said 8am -- uh oh!!! And the office was already closed, so we left a voicemail and replied to the email. We weren't able to get a hold of them until the next morning at 8, at which time someone was already on the way. It sucked because we were really hoping to sleep in. They said they would give us 20% off for the scheduling mishap, which I appreciated. PAYMENT: We bought the $10 for $20 deal on Yelp and mentioned the code at the time of booking. When they initially called to confirm, they said they would email a link so that we could enter our credit card information. They did not send the link correctly, so we had to call back and get them to resend it. They charged us after the cleaning was done, and what a bummer, they charged us the wrong amount -- they had forgotten both the Yelp deal and the 20% discount. We emailed them and they promptly refunded us the appropriate amount. CLEANING: Two nice ladies came to clean our 1bd 1ba apartment. One spoke fluent English, while the other did not. We were able to communicate without any problems. They did a very good job of cleaning, although I felt like their mop didn't get all the grime off the floor; we Swiffered afterwards and still got some dirt. Even so, we were overall satisfied by the work they did. Even though the cleaning ladies were quite good and the customer service team was responsive, there were too many hiccups with the scheduling and the payment. Having my apartment cleaned is supposed to make my life easier, not more stressful, so I'll be looking for another company where I can hopefully find a smoother experience. read more

I have experienced problems and will not use them again. My first experience was for a deep clean. The result was not even a 'regular clean'. And, there were two of them! Second experience was for a redo of the deep clean at Wave's expense. That crew did an excellent job. Third experience was for another 'deep clean'. A lady came by. I said something about coming up the stairs. She responded that she spoke very little English. I gave her $20.00 and she left. I feel very bad about this experience. That was a lady working to make a living. However, I cannot have someone trying to 'deep clean' without being able to communicate with them. I cancelled the 'deep clean'. Two takeaways; The cleaners should have English sufficient to the job. One person is not enough to do a 'deep clean'. read more

This cleaning service has been incredible. I really am thankful for their automatic options (I can set it up to be bi-monthly, weekly, etc.). They offer a deep clean and then regular cleans as long as you schedule within a decent timeframe from the last clean. Every clean seems like a deep clean to me! My cleaner, Vanessa, is amazing. In considering the services out there, I wanted one that was reliable and that communicated well. This company does both easily. We chose a regular time and I wanted to keep using the cleaner that came to my house the first time. They were able to accommodate that request. I am so thankful for the transparent pricing and that it is flat-fee. I am so busy and having someone help every couple of months is perfect as it keeps things tidy and extra clean. I've been wanting to have periodic maid service for some time, however, my significant other is not very trusting after she had some jewelry boosted by some movers. I convinced her that we'd go with a company that is insured and I'd leave work early to be at the home while the cleaning occurred. After scouring Yelp and Google reviews and their straight forward pricing, I decided to go with Wave House Cleaning. Scheduling was a breeze. I scheduled for a 3PM cleaning. I got home at 2:45PM and the maid was already there! I opened the door and the maid (Marisol?) got right to work, attacking the master bath first. No easy task as my gf uses a number of hair/aerosol products that cause a layer of gunk to build up on the flat surfaces in the bathroom. I spot checked and she got everything...very impressed! The maid did my entire 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment in about 3 hours and 20 minutes. This was their "deep clean" as required for the 1st cleaning. My apartment is all hardwood floors with area rugs. Not sure I would have been impressed with the vacuum the maid brought if I had more carpeting but was sufficient for my apartment's needs. The customer service was great. I got a call the morning of the cleaning to confirm and had all my questions answered. I definitely plan on using them again before my parents visit in mid-September. read more

It's really difficult to rate the company itself. They seem to just organize and schedule cleaners. The cleaners seem to be contracted by the company as they sometimes come to my house wearing uniforms from their own companies. The cleaners themselves are usually okay. They do not give 100%. I've only had one or two cleanings that were sufficient including recently (C.Dominguez). I scheduled a cleaning service for a Sunday. This was a move-out cleaning. We had already moved out and our new place was 30 minutes away. I drive to the old home to meet them, but 10 minutes before the appointment they cancel and do not show up. We go through the painful process of rescheduling for Tuesday at1. They show up more than an hour late and do the cleaning in just less than an hour and a half (it was a large 2BR 2BTH) -- a very mediocre and superficial job. They told me they will offer me a 15% discount because of the cancellation, I eventually got charged full price. This company is a joke. Do not go through the pain! We've been fans of Wave House for over a year now... Super easy to book, great customer service and overall, their cleaning team does a wonderful, thorough job. We had some hiccups during the last couple visits, but I get it--stuff happens. I appreciate their effort to make things right and take accountability/apologize when a cleaning crew ends up 2 hours late bc of car trouble. And, although I don't really prefer to inspect their work while they're here to make sure everything gets cleaned, they are pretty good about taking care of it right away if you point it out before they leave (AWKWARD). The ladies that have come to our house have all been sweet and nice, not to mention patient when it comes to my 2 little crazy monster children running around and trying to play/use their supplies. The deep cleaning is a great value for the work that's done and the time that it takes... and of course the kiddos love destroying everything in about 3 minutes time. Hired wave house for a move out cleaning of our house and for a bi-monthy cleaning of our new house and unfortunately we will not be using them ever again. The move out clean was scheduled between 3-4 and i got a message around 3:40 stating they would be there around 4:45. As soon and I messaged them and asked what the issue was, they said they would be there in 20 minutes. 35 minutes later they show up and do a very mediocre job. I figured maybe it was a fluke and the my regular scheduled cleaning would be better. i was wrong. it was scheduled to start between 8-9am and around 8:55 i get a call that there was an emergency and they had to reschedule for 1:00pm. That wouldn 't work for me so i had to cancel. I then get a text about 15 minutes later saying the crew could be there in 20 minutes. I did not want to deal with such a poorly run business so i opted not to have them come. The ease of communication and the ability to book online is nice, but not if the job is poorly done and the employees are constantly late or don't show up at all. Look elsewhere for your house cleaning services especially if you like people to be punctual. read more

This review covers 2 visits and 2 different experiences. The first experience was a deep clean that was fine and efficient. The second visit, by R, was lacking. The cleaner parked illegally in our complex causing irritation and a potential fine. I asked her to perform list of routine tasks (vacuuming, mop kitchen floor) to which she didn't comment (she was listening to her device the entire time). The cleaner spent around one hour. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, about 1500 sq ft, and had never had a cleaner before but with a baby on the way and working full-time, I really could use that extra two hours to do other things. So I hired Wave last month and haven't looked back since. They are professional, thorough, and trustworthy. I just let them in and then go about my business. They give a convenient quote beforehand. They come with all their own supplies, so I don't have to buy and store cleaning supplies. My first cleaning, they did a more thorough job for $119.99, they cleaned my fridge and all my windows (from the inside). The second time around, cost was about $40 less, at $79.99 for upkeep. I have them come every weeks and I haven't looked back since! They are extremely responsive and available to answer questions and concerns via email or telephone. Their website is also up to date and helpful (which I really appreciated). I would definitely recommend Wave to anyone looking for a good cleaning service! read more

We have had a terrible time with cancellations and no shows. While customer service is very responsive, this isn't too helpful when you need a cleaning and no one is showing up. Pros: Friendly, good customer care, easy to book, great cleaning job and the cleaners are on time! Cons: they have different branches for different areas of LA so be sure to remember which branch you booked with otherwise they will not have your credit card info and will charge you for a deep clean. My relationship with Wave got off to a shaky start but every time they come they do a better and better job! You just have to communicate with them exactly what you're looking for. It helps to email your branch directly and specify what you want. My first experience with Wave was not great, the cleaners showed up 2 hours later than expected (they have a 1 hour window to arrive) but but after speaking with their customer service, they took 15% off my total. Once they arrived, they were thorough and also fast and didn't miss any spots! I was very impressed. My second experience was good, I booked her at 8a she showed up at 9a (still within the hour window) but she forgot to dust which is a problem because my house gets very dusty due to the fact its mostly windows that we like to leave open during the day. The third cleaning I got was by far the best cleaning. She showed up EARLY and made a point to dust everything in the house and just did a spectacular job.
