I have used wave housecleaning multiple times in the past two years sometimes I use the deep cleaning and sometimes just the upkeep. I love love their customer service. I once ran into an issue of one of the cleaners blocking the sink(accidents do happen) and Juan the manager was more than just helpful to help resolve the issue. The cleaners are really nice too, they come in , you have to just show them around and they're on their own I never had to supervise them,they check in with me when they're done and if I have any corrections they fix it.I love their business model,It is so easy to make an appointment on their website, their website is clean and very functional. I found wave house cleaning through yelp and they were prompt in their response via email and scheduling was easy. The cleaners were professional and spoke fluent English. Cleaning was on point and well within time. Cleaners are insured which gives me peace of mind having bad experiences in the past. Allow an hour of arrival time when requesting a service. While everything they cleaned looks grea, they didn't vacuum any of the carpets! My friend told me that they usually come with their own supplies, including a vacuum. I was pumped about this since my vacuum broke a little while ago. I'm going to contact the company and hope they can send someone to vacuum since it wasn't done the first time around. This was really great in the beginning, but I haven't had the best experiences as I've continued using their services. I had reported poor cleaning a couple of times and this last time was the worst. Two people came and it seemed like they didn't do very much, and they left very abruptly. I went to look around and there was dirt/hair and grime left in the tub, grease left on the stove, sink still dirty and they didn't even mop the floors. There was still stuff all over my kitchen floor and my dresser and night stands we're still dusty. It almost looked worse after they came because they just pushed dirt around. In the beginning the people who came to clean asked me to look around before they left and make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction, but more recently I never get a chance to look before they leave. The people who came to clean the last few times also moved all of my things around and never put them back. My house was in disarray when they left and I had to go put everything back. Update: the owner contacted me to address my concerns and I appreciated the speedy handling of my complaints. The owner genuinely cares about offering excellent customer service and, to me, that's important so I upgraded the rating to three stars. Still not sure if I want to push my luck and try them again tho. Original review: Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. First the cleaners were four hours late due to car trouble (although the owner said that they were three hours late, since I was supposed to give them up to an hour to show up; as if being three hours late is somehow way better than four hours late). After several calls and a conversation with the owner (just after the cleaners showed up), I was offered 20% off. Alright, fine (thus the two stars; but the downward spiral had just begun ... my rating is really negative two stars). As the cleaners got started, they were chatting, talking on their phones, and laughing so loudly that I could hear them from the second floor while they were cleaning the first floor. Since I work from home, I specifically scheduled phone conference appointments outside of the time they were supposed to be cleaning. But they were so late, they crashed all of my afternoon meetings and I had to duck around the house trying to avoid the noise pollution while taking business calls. When they finally wrapped up and invited me to look around and inspect the work, I found small puddles of water on the bathroom floor and the dining room floor. Before I could say anything, I heard a car start and speed off. I looked out the window and cleaners took off! They left so fast that they didn't even close my front door!!! WTF?!!! To say these cleaners were unprofessional would be an understatement. They ran off before confirming the job was done and left my front door ajar! I wanted to surprise my hubby, who is a bit of a clean freak and among other things insists shoes come off at the door, with a clean apartment when we came home from a 10 day vacation. We had both been really busy at work the few weeks before our trip and hadn't had time to clean ourselves so it had accumulated a pretty good layer of dust and dirt by the time wave house cleaning came the day before we returned from our trip. As it was my first appointment with the company I booked a 'deep clean' per their requirements. I was glad that they could accommodate my request and service the house while we weren't home to meet them (we have a lockbox to gain entry). Unfortunately though, when we walked in the door my first thought was that they hadn't shown up and was about to call when I realized the tip money I had left on the stovetop was gone so I started poking around and realized that the inside of the oven looked clean so they must have been there, it just wasn't imediately obvious based on the overall state of the apartment. The floors may have been swept (our apartment is all hardwood) but clearly weren't mopped based on the dirt and hair stuck to our feed after taking off our shoes at the door. I did notice that the shower door had less soap scum but the bathroom mirrors had toothpaste splashes and there were hairs left on the floor. I keep a few knick knacks on our bedroom dresser which I stashed in a closet prior to our appointment to make it easier to clean but when we got home the outline in dust from where these objects had sat was still very visible. Perhaps my expectations for a 'deep clean' differ from the company's but the stuff they missed I would consider pretty standard stuff that I would have done myself when I'd do what I would consider a 'light clean'. In short, hubby didn't even notice that the apartment had been cleaned and I opted not to tell him as I think he would have been upset rather than pleasantly surprised based on the results. read more

I had my deep cleaning last weekend. The cleaning lady didn't clean my house properly. I paid extra for Patio, window cleaning but she didn't do neither of them. Also she swiped all the dirt under the rugs and sofa and cabinets. Anyway I have contacted with the company and they told me that they were sorry. They send new cleaning staff and fixed everything. Although the first lady did a really bad job, they fixed everything afterwards. The reason that I am giving 4 stars is because they need to have better cleaners. After my previous review the owner of Wave, Juan, sent me an email noting that he was disappointed that our deep cleaning was not up to specification and did not consist of all of the prescribed services. He offered us a free recleaning, which I was a bit hesitant to accept, so I asked Juan to call me and we talked through the issues and my concerns. Ultimately, I agreed for a different team to reclean a week later. Well, the new team (2 cleaners) came today and it was night and day from our first experience. They really did deep clean the house, covering all of the items listed on their website and the place looks spotless. This is definitely what I expected on the first go around. For reference, the first person spent less than 2 hours here, whereas today 2 people spent over 2 hours. I would definitely use Wave again as long as this was the team that we got. I got a flier and decided to give them a try. The price is right. Great website. The customer service over email and phone is great, very professional and polite. One person came by the house, her name is Samantha. It took her two hours to clean my house (1200 sqft), it seems normal to me. She was great, very friendly and helpful. The only thing I will suggest this bus. in order to give them five stars is in regards cleaning wood floors. Mine were cleaned with some kind of spray pad mop, like the Swiffer. I would prefer the more traditional way using a bucket and a better pad mop. I will definitely hire Wave House Cleaning's service again and request Samantha. read more

This was my absolute favorite cleaning experience in my lifetime. I felt 1000 pounds lighter when I walked back in my home. Everything I wished cleaners would do they did. I felt HELPED and relieved. BEFORE YOU BOOK THEM. Please make note that pretty much everything besides basic windows, floors, counter tops and semi making your bed is included "extra". So, closet is extra (didn't even attempt to clean the floor in between my shoes), kitchen cabinets is extra, and the list goes on. Better off hiring someone else that will ACTUALLY clean your whole place, total waste of money. Will not use them again. They don't make clear what their service offers and what it doesn't. Wave House Cleaning did a great job on cleaning our rented condo we got for our New Years Eve stay in Santa Monica! We ended up renting a room on VRBO.com (Vacation Rentals By Owner) for our trip for New Years from December 30th to January 2nd. The owner required a cleaning deposit of $250.00, but refundable if the condo was clean. I had a pretty good gathering of friends the day of New Years Eve as well as New Years Day and was a bit worried I was not going to get the deposit back. With that being said, I ended up hiring Wave House Cleaning due to word of mouth and they did a spectacular job. From the floors, fridge, counters, blinds to even the ceiling fans! Let's just say I got my $250.00 deposit back from the owner and I was also complimented on the cleanliness of the home after admitting that I pretty much had a party there (which I was allowed). I can't stress any more how well Wave House Cleaning did and greatful for their help. They sent two ladies in and got the job done in about 2 hours! I'm very impressed with this service. I've used them once so far, and I'm sure some of their cleaners are better than others, but Vilma M is amazing! She cleaned the place so thoroughly, and so efficiently! Much better than other cleaners we have had. And she made sure I inspected the whole place to point out anything she missed (which was just a couple small areas, and then she cleaned them perfectly). They are really good about confirming the appointment, reminding you, and following up to see how it went. And the price is excellent! Love the flat rates. Yes, they will charge you extra for certain things, like the fridge, vacuuming a sofa, laundry, etc. But even with extra fees it's still much cheaper than most cleaning services out there. Overall: This is the 2nd cleaning service we tried in LA and the 4th cleaning company we have ever used. We plan on sticking with them because they are consistently good to excellent. Cleaners we have used before would start out as excellent but then later on would fall short. Cleaning: It is highly dependent on the cleaner you get. You are not guarantee the same person each time although they do try. The cleaning ranges from very good to excellent. They are good about the details and the little extras that they do such as folding the towels that are hanging. I am obsessive about clean my floors (who isn't?) and there was a couple of times they could have been better about getting the area under my dining table. I brought this up to them and they were quick to remedy it for the next cleaning Customer service: excellent always. Very responsive and easy to communicate via email. Tip: there were a couple of times I had a cleaning scheduled for late afternoon and they had to reschedule since they couldn't get to us in time. Early cleaning is the way to go read more

Do not even think about using Wave House Cleaning. I have only once, decades ago, used a cleaning service. By keeping up with cleaning ourselves, we find that the place never gets out of hand; and generally is quite well taken care of. I was being married last Saturday afternoon, and decided that with all the other planning and preparation for that special day involved, we would treat ourselves to a house cleaning. The event was taking place outdoors, but wanted our four guests, the videographer, and the Rabbi to experience a really nice, clean house if they needed to enter (bathroom/kitchen). I phoned about four cleaning services to describe what we needed/wanted done and to get quotes. We're about 70 years old, and while we're quite computer literate and I even write a tech column for a local newspaper, and am on the board of directors of a local computer user group, I feel more comfortable using the phone for many needs like this. I left a phone message asking Wave House Cleaning to call me back, but was texted back and asked to use their online presence. I texted back and requested a call back. The following day I called three times. The first two times Carla told me that she was unable to hear me and hung up. The third time I called she answered and explained that she had been having problems with her phone. She asked me about our house and gave me a quote. I called back two days later to book them for the Friday after next, the day before we were to be married. Again, there were problems with reaching her via phone, despite my also using another phone line. This time she said that she was not having problems with her phone, and blamed my two phone lines, one a cell and the other one with Spectrum, both of which had been working fine. I asked for another phone number that I might use for communication with Wave House, but she declined to furnish me with one. I asked for a supervisor and she said that one was not available. I then asked for one to call me, and she said that I would only be able to contact a supervisor only through her. At this point I really should have abandoned Wave House Cleaning, my beginning to get a bad feeling about them. I decided to schedule them and asked for two people for three hours. A price was agreed upon, and a time, 11 AM for the next Friday. I wanted to pay via check, but was told that I would only be able to pay via credit card online when I received an advance billing statement. I did not wish to pay in advance so Carla said that I could pay when the cleaning persons arrived by calling her. I asked for another phone number in case I was again unable to reach her via the phone number I had been using. She said that there was no other phone number to use, which was not true, as I later learned. I then went online to learn that there is an Arizona phone number available that connects to the local Venice number. I used that number and was connected to Carla to let her know that the other number works. Again, I really should have abandoned using Wave House, but stupidly persisted. During one conversation with Carla she said that while three hours were scheduled, the cleaning persons would leave whenever they were done. Once again, I should have been very leery. I do not know why I continued to persist with them, when there are so many other cleaning services available I received several text and email confirmations of my appointment - 11 AM on the following Friday, even receiving one that morning. At about 11:25 I called and left a message that no one had shown yet. At 11:40 a young lady appeared at my door to clean. I asked about the second person. She said that she did not know anything about a second person. I was concerned about being charged for two cleaning people, as that was our verbal contract, nothing about which was included in any of the several received text and email confirmations. The woman at the door seemed to have some English speaking limitations, and I also began to have some concern about her ability to take directions. I decided to decline the service at that point and send her on her way. I received a text or email message a few moments later stating that the cleaning service had been cancelled.
