I've had my house cleaned about 5-6 times by Wave House and it was a perfect experience every time. I called about 20 difference local cleaning companies and they were the most competitive in pricing. Scheduling was very easy, the house cleaners were always on time, and they were done on time or earlier than they said they would be. Payment was also easy and I was even able to add the tip to my credit card if I didn't get to see the cleaner leave in person. Customer service is also great, they always reply to my emails same day or by the next day and to my phone calls within an hour or so. Having a very young child at home, I was looking for a cleaning company that uses green products. Wave House said that they use neutral products, and in fact there is no strong odor from the cleaning solutions after they've finished. Just a light lemon scent which is gone after airing out my apartment briefly. I haven't had a bad experience yet and look forward to continue having my house cleaned by them. read more

I have used wave housecleaning multiple times in the past two years sometimes I use the deep cleaning and sometimes just the upkeep. I love love their customer service. I once ran into an issue of one of the cleaners blocking the sink(accidents do happen) and Juan the manager was more than just helpful to help resolve the issue. The cleaners are really nice too, they come in , you have to just show them around and they're on their own I never had to supervise them,they check in with me when they're done and if I have any corrections they fix it.I love their business model,It is so easy to make an appointment on their website, their website is clean and very functional. I was pumped about this since my vacuum broke a little while ago. I'm going to contact the company and hope they can send someone to vacuum since it wasn't done the first time around. Update: the owner contacted me to address my concerns and I appreciated the speedy handling of my complaints. The owner genuinely cares about offering excellent customer service and, to me, that's important so I upgraded the rating to three stars. Still not sure if I want to push my luck and try them again tho. Original review: Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. First the cleaners were four hours late due to car trouble (although the owner said that they were three hours late, since I was supposed to give them up to an hour to show up; as if being three hours late is somehow way better than four hours late). After several calls and a conversation with the owner (just after the cleaners showed up), I was offered 20% off. Alright, fine (thus the two stars; but the downward spiral had just begun ... my rating is really negative two stars). As the cleaners got started, they were chatting, talking on their phones, and laughing so loudly that I could hear them from the second floor while they were cleaning the first floor. Since I work from home, I specifically scheduled phone conference appointments outside of the time they were supposed to be cleaning. But they were so late, they crashed all of my afternoon meetings and I had to duck around the house trying to avoid the noise pollution while taking business calls. When they finally wrapped up and invited me to look around and inspect the work, I found small puddles of water on the bathroom floor and the dining room floor. After my previous review the owner of Wave, Juan, sent me an email noting that he was disappointed that our deep cleaning was not up to specification and did not consist of all of the prescribed services. He offered us a free recleaning, which I was a bit hesitant to accept, so I asked Juan to call me and we talked through the issues and my concerns. Ultimately, I agreed for a different team to reclean a week later. Well, the new team (2 cleaners) came today and it was night and day from our first experience. They really did deep clean the house, covering all of the items listed on their website and the place looks spotless. This is definitely what I expected on the first go around. For reference, the first person spent less than 2 hours here, whereas today 2 people spent over 2 hours. I would definitely use Wave again as long as this was the team that we got. I got a flier and decided to give them a try. The price is right. Great website. The customer service over email and phone is great, very professional and polite. One person came by the house, her name is Samantha. It took her two hours to clean my house (1200 sqft), it seems normal to me. She was great, very friendly and helpful. The only thing I will suggest this bus. in order to give them five stars is in regards cleaning wood floors. Mine were cleaned with some kind of spray pad mop, like the Swiffer. I would prefer the more traditional way using a bucket and a better pad mop. I will definitely hire Wave House Cleaning's service again and request Samantha. read more

Wave House Cleaning did a great job on cleaning our rented condo we got for our New Years Eve stay in Santa Monica! We ended up renting a room on VRBO.com (Vacation Rentals By Owner) for our trip for New Years from December 30th to January 2nd. The owner required a cleaning deposit of $250.00, but refundable if the condo was clean. I had a pretty good gathering of friends the day of New Years Eve as well as New Years Day and was a bit worried I was not going to get the deposit back. With that being said, I ended up hiring Wave House Cleaning due to word of mouth and they did a spectacular job. From the floors, fridge, counters, blinds to even the ceiling fans! Let's just say I got my $250.00 deposit back from the owner and I was also complimented on the cleanliness of the home after admitting that I pretty much had a party there (which I was allowed). I'm very impressed with this service. I've used them once so far, and I'm sure some of their cleaners are better than others, but Vilma M is amazing! She cleaned the place so thoroughly, and so efficiently! Much better than other cleaners we have had. And she made sure I inspected the whole place to point out anything she missed (which was just a couple small areas, and then she cleaned them perfectly). They are really good about confirming the appointment, reminding you, and following up to see how it went. And the price is excellent! Love the flat rates. Yes, they will charge you extra for certain things, like the fridge, vacuuming a sofa, laundry, etc. But even with extra fees it's still much cheaper than most cleaning services out there. Overall: This is the 2nd cleaning service we tried in LA and the 4th cleaning company we have ever used. We plan on sticking with them because they are consistently good to excellent. Cleaners we have used before would start out as excellent but then later on would fall short. Cleaning: It is highly dependent on the cleaner you get. You are not guarantee the same person each time although they do try. The cleaning ranges from very good to excellent. They are good about the details and the little extras that they do such as folding the towels that are hanging. I am obsessive about clean my floors (who isn't?) and there was a couple of times they could have been better about getting the area under my dining table. I brought this up to them and they were quick to remedy it for the next cleaning Customer service: excellent always. Very responsive and easy to communicate via email. Tip: there were a couple of times I had a cleaning scheduled for late afternoon and they had to reschedule since they couldn't get to us in time. Early cleaning is the way to go read more

This was really great in the beginning, but I haven't had the best experiences as I've continued using their services. I had reported poor cleaning a couple of times and this last time was the worst. Two people came and it seemed like they didn't do very much, and they left very abruptly. I went to look around and there was dirt/hair and grime left in the tub, grease left on the stove, sink still dirty and they didn't even mop the floors. There was still stuff all over my kitchen floor and my dresser and night stands we're still dusty. It almost looked worse after they came because they just pushed dirt around. In the beginning the people who came to clean asked me to look around before they left and make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction, but more recently I never get a chance to look before they leave. The people who came to clean the last few times also moved all of my things around and never put them back. My house was in disarray when they left and I had to go put everything back. Original Review: I honestly couldn't be more disappointed with Wave House Cleaning. I had really high expectations based on the Yelp reviews. There were a few negative reviews here and there but the positive reviews overwhelmingly outshine the bad - so I decided to give them a shot. I made an appointment for a Move-In deep cleaning service at 11AM. I was fully aware of the one hour time window for the cleaner to arrive and scheduled the rest of my day around it so I could be there to make sure everything I had paid for was done correctly. I also paid for the extra service of have the cupboards cleaning inside and out in the kitchen and the bathroom. I specified that I wanted extra attention paid to the kitchen and the bathroom tile on the special request form. I waited the full one hour window for the cleaner to arrive. I called Wave to inquire the status of her location and was told she was running half an hour late. I became irritated because I was very limited on time so I expressed that to the representative. I was told that the cleaner could "lock up" for me whenever I had to leave. I've never used this service before and to be honest I didn't feel very comfortable having someone I don't know lock up my house for me. I wasn't given an option to reschedule my appointment because of their $25 cancellation fee. An additional half an hour rolls around and the cleaner still has not arrived. At this point I had waiting 2 hours for the cleaner to get to my place (an hour past the one hour window). She finally arrives at the stroke of 1:02PM. I give her a tour of my apartment, explain what has to be done, and leave. I come back and was entirely underwhelmed with the work that was done. Half of the cupboards were not wiped down on the inside. The insides of the bathroom cupboards weren't done at all. The bathtub wasn't touched. There were still rings from the soap residue of the previous tenant. The shower was dusty. The grout was still dirty. The hardwood floors were streaky. I wanted to surprise my hubby, who is a bit of a clean freak and among other things insists shoes come off at the door, with a clean apartment when we came home from a 10 day vacation. We had both been really busy at work the few weeks before our trip and hadn't had time to clean ourselves so it had accumulated a pretty good layer of dust and dirt by the time wave house cleaning came the day before we returned from our trip. As it was my first appointment with the company I booked a 'deep clean' per their requirements. I was glad that they could accommodate my request and service the house while we weren't home to meet them (we have a lockbox to gain entry). Unfortunately though, when we walked in the door my first thought was that they hadn't shown up and was about to call when I realized the tip money I had left on the stovetop was gone so I started poking around and realized that the inside of the oven looked clean so they must have been there, it just wasn't imediately obvious based on the overall state of the apartment. The floors may have been swept (our apartment is all hardwood) but clearly weren't mopped based on the dirt and hair stuck to our feed after taking off our shoes at the door. I did notice that the shower door had less soap scum but the bathroom mirrors had toothpaste splashes and there were hairs left on the floor. I keep a few knick knacks on our bedroom dresser which I stashed in a closet prior to our appointment to make it easier to clean but when we got home the outline in dust from where these objects had sat was still very visible. Perhaps my expectations for a 'deep clean' differ from the company's but the stuff they missed I would consider pretty standard stuff that I would have done myself when I'd do what I would consider a 'light clean'. In short, hubby didn't even notice that the apartment had been cleaned and I opted not to tell him as I think he would have been upset rather than pleasantly surprised based on the results. read more
