I figured I could handle pest control on my own. We had what I thought were just a few mice until we started cleaning out the garage. We called several companies and had a couple people come out. Ultimately, Joevany came out to visit us and discuss our options. He was professional, and responsibly wearing a mask and gloves. I went on Home Advisor to request a quote for an annual termite prevention service. I cannot say enough about Home Guard's service, which was prompt and price-competitive. Kopa came to our home and did an evaluation. He inspected both our property outside, and the inside of our home including the attic. Based on his findings, he presented a plan that specifically addressed our issues, and he explained the entire process in detail. Within 48 hours we had our first appointment. Joevany texted me when he was on his way to our home. He arrive on time and was very professional. He executed the treatment plan thoroughly and efficiently. When he was in the attic he noticed ductwork which had became detached from the furnace. He notified us of the situation so it could be addressed. When I called to set up an appointment they would not accept the two coupons that are showing on the website. They said the coupons only work if I set up a contract for regular visits. Waste of money if you ask me. Guy comes out sprays around your house and lays down some sticky pads and that's about it. Guy was always unprofessional unprepared and had to use my water to mix his bug spay. They charge you $100 every time they come to do something you can do at a fraction of the cost. Sales guy lied about the contact, said it was for 6 months bimonthly, turns out it was a year bimonthly. Sneaky and deceitful in his part. I made the mistake of not paying attention. For example, we've had to call after hours on several occasions because (of course) that's when the ants show up. Every time they accommodate our request and send someone out the very next day. The worst pest control company I've ever dealt with. The guy told me $49 every time they come, and then I got a bill for $100. I called to ask about it and they said it's in the fine print and I have to pay. The first time they came I found webs all over my house and 3 black widow eggs in plain site, I called the manager to quit my services and get a refund and they refused, they stated they can come fix the issue but I still must pay them. They are an extremely dishonest and horrible business, and I totally fell for their scam. read more

we have had 2 scheduled appointments thru the company. the fist was in December between 8 and 11 am and they did not show. the company rescheduled again for today January 13 between 8 and 12 noon once again they did not show. they have out to our home twice in the last 8 months. I have been on the phone for 53 min waiting to speclass to somebody about canceling my service. The company continues to take my monthly payments. Their service needs to improve in the Rivreside area. the last time that they did show up it was at 630pm and their time frame was between 2 and 6 pm. After speaking with the door to door sales rep, they continue to come back, knock and ring my door bell. I have a "No Soliciting" sign outside, but they choose to ignore it. I have the sign there so people don't knock on my door, which makes my dog bark and wakes up my baby. Never I would do business with a company that doesn't listen, ignores common courtesy and they don't even come wearing a face mask. I have talked with Riley about my wife wrong-signed contract.My wife doesn't speak English very well and she signed the contract. And I didn't see the contract until the initial service has been done. After I noticed that there will be a $100 cancellation fee, I am pissed off. But Riley called me and we had a really good talk about all this. I think Riley is a really nice business owner. He would think about the long run of the business instead of the current little money. I would give it a shot after I end my contract with Western. And by the way, his sales person, Gavin, is really good at selling. He is nice and polite. He is persistent in his goal. Richard Lamb from Home Guard did an outstanding job for the rodent control in my office building. the location had a rodent issues for years, the previous pest control company just kept putting mouse traps in the attics, but the issue still reminded until I hired Home Guard. Richard inspected the property and its surrounding very carefully when he took the job, and suggested a list of things that needed to be done in order to eradicate the rodent for good.
