We haven't been to Disneyland for a few years and we have never been on this ride. The last time we were here, this ride was not existed yet. This ride was interactive. You move your arms out like your shooting webs from your wrists. It was pretty fun and they have a running score to see who gets the highest score in your group. As for the line, it was hit or miss for us. We checked the app a few times and saw the wait times would be long and other times it would be short. I just checked the app a various times when we didn't have a pass for something else we had to be at. When it the wait time was short, that's when we went. read more

I walked into WEB SLINGERS thinking, "I've watched enough Spider-Man movies. I've got this." A few seconds later, I'm standing there throwing invisible webs like I'm trying to swat mosquitoes at a backyard barbecue. I have to admit... this ride is pretty awesome. The technology is surprisingly accurate. Wherever you point, it actually feels like you're slinging webs and blasting Spider-Bots. By the end, my shoulder was getting a workout, and I was taking this way more seriously than I should've. I ended up scoring over 100,000 points, which officially qualifies me as... someone who still wasn't at the top of the leaderboard. Apparently there are people out there who eat, sleep, and sling webs for a living. The queue is cool, the effects are impressive, and it's one of those rides where everyone walks off immediately comparing scores. Nobody cares how old you are your competitive side comes out fast. Would I ride it again? Absolutely. Because now I have unfinished business... and that leaderboard isn't going to beat itself. read more

I have never tried this one. The line was a little long. I think we waited over a half an hour but totally worth the wait. Peter Parker talks you through the lesson at the beginning. You ride with four people in each section. So you are seated and you have to make a motion with your arms like you are slinging a web from you wrists . Just like Spiderman. The motion triggers the web on the screen and you hit the bugs and things thus racking up points. This ride was so interactive and so much fun. I really enjoyed it a lot. You have to try it at least once when you are here at Disney. read more

The ride story involves groups of people teaming up to destroy the spider-bots that have escaped. We put on 3D glasses and used our sling webs to stop them and got different points for stopping the different spiders. It was really interactive and near the end our arms got tired from all the web slinging. This ride reminded me of Toy Story Midway Mania which is not far from here. It was my first time riding this ride and was unique and fun. It's also cool that occasionally Spider Man will be on the top of the building for a show while you wait in line. read more

This arcade like ride was a lot tougher than the Toy Story ride. Pointing and slinging webs from your hands is not as easy as Spider Man makes it look like in the movies. There are several different scenes that you are taken to in this 3D, spinning and moving ride. There are four to a car. The final score totals all four individual points. The graphics and animation are amazing. Disney sure does a good job designing their rides! We decided to go through the single rider line so that we wouldn't have to wait the 90 minutes through the regular line. I ended up on a car with three riders who were like professionals at this! And they were stuck with me, who had no clue what I was doing! The total score of our car was 517,600, of which I contributed 35,700 points. Haha, sorry, not sorry. read more

WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure is the only ride inside of the new Avengers campus besides the Guardians of the Galaxy ride which is on the opposite side! It is a 3-D interactive ride that allows you to rack up points by shooting Spider-Bots with webs like Spider-Man. Spider-Bots have taken over the Avengers Campus and it is up to us to take out as many as possible! It is a 4-person ride where you sit inside a vehicle while you're slinging webs all over the place! You look silly while flaying your arms all around, but it's a lot of fun and a great arm work out! My arms were like jelly afterwards! Peter Parker makes an appearance in the beginning and there are lots of detail in the line queue of the engineering workshop. You can rack up points individually and as a vehicle team - it will also show on the leaderboard as you exit the ride. My family made it onto the leaderboard as one of the high scores for the hour! This "adventure" is entertaining for sure. Seating is groups of 2. Mind you, your playing against another group. So ideally, have a group of 4. Then you have bragging rights! That's pretty much the main reason to play this game ! On to the game. Slinging webs...seems easy. But actually aiming is very difficult IMO. My wife always beats me, which is fine. However, I am skeptical if it accurately tracks scores fairly. I'm behind one moment, then a minute later she's 10,000 points ahead. Also the final scores of the day...i think are fake or people know the hack. Was something silly like 2,000,000 ! By the end of the ride...my arms are exhausted. Seriously. In the end, yes it's fun. I have ridden this ride quite a few times with the plus side being that it has a single rider line. You definitely get a workout here with your arms. However, I do find it a little bit hard to figure out how to sling the web correctly to get a massive amount of points. Quite honestly, it's a little bit spastic waving your arms around. This is my kids favorite ride at California adventure. We always go to this one. The wait is usually about an hour and it's like a ride/video game. You can fit 4 to a car and we have two lap sitters so 6 people. You'll see a short video then go get your glasses then you're on. This ride is a must and it's great for all ages. read more

The newest "game" style ride at California Adventure, it's similar in nature to Toy Story Midway Mania and Astro Blasters, where you're shooting things. It also requires 3D glasses. You'll enter a car that seats probably 4 adults, and you shoot spiders and items but flexing and extending your elbow. It's pretty cool in that it senses your movements. The graphics are pretty cool and the premise is fun, with Tom Holland visual telling you a story of how the spiders are replicating and destroying everything. There's maybe ...3-4 different stages where you're shooting spiders, and honestly it gets your arms pretty sore haha so be ready! I don't think this ride is ever worth the 40+ min wait , but I'm someone who favors roller coasters and thrill rides over this type of attraction. If you're a party of adults and you don't care too much about riding together, the single rider line is often half the wait of the regular standby line. My husband I did single rider and we still ended up in the same car, since there's lots of families of 3. So you might end up riding around the same time as your friends anyway. I don't love that the line for this is outside in the sun, so the single rider line is still preferred for me. read more

My first time riding this new Spider-Man ride on the Disney California side. You have to wear these glasses and you pretty much sling your arms to the screen and try to hit as many creepy crawlers as you can. Overall this was a fun and tiring game! For sure it is an arm workout and I think kids would totally love it because they can compete with whoever is in the same row as you. It fits four people and since we came with four it was a perfect ride! I do need to practice a little bit more but overall thought this was a cool ride! read more

Another newer attraction since the last time I've been at California Adventures and it was a first for pur family. What a work out! Get in your upper body exercise at this ride when you compete for helping Spidey out. This attraction seems to have been down quite a few times, but we were able to get in with lightning pass right before it shut down. There is still a but of a wait. The ride also allows for singles to fill in gaps, as a family of 3, we had a younger rider in our pod with us to make it full. It does whip you pretty good at times, so if you get nauseated or dizzy easily maybe skip this ride. In any event it is a fun ride. read more

I finally got to ride this ride! It's Located in Disney California Adventure near Hollywood studios. As I have a season pass, I've been frequenting the parks more often. This ride was pretty cool and very interactive. There was a lot of arm and hand movements which needed to be done throughout the ride. It was definitely a workout for my arm. Enough for me to feel it the next day. Also, my motion sickness started kicking in as soon as the ride begun. I don't exactly know what the ride was about since I had my eyes closed for majority of it. Also, the ride seats about 4-5 people. That means that you'll most likely be experiencing the ride with strangers. I personally thought the people that I rode with were great. Others didn't have that experience... However, I don't foresee myself standing in line for 40+ mins to ride this ride. There are other rides that I feel is worth waiting for 40+ mins and this one is a pass... I can say the this ride is a solid 3 stars. read more

CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE RIDE #2: Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure Whew! We rode lots and LOTS of rides during our 10-hour tenure at Disneyland/California Adventure, but unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to catch all of them. Choosing wisely, we decided on Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, which is an interactive ride. This would be the last ride we would go on while in California Adventure. My LTP is a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies, and he decided to purchase a Lightning Lane Pass for this ride, which took about 10 or so minutes to enter. After a short introduction and lecture by Spider-Man himself welcoming us to the WEB, we were guided to a different room where we picked up our own pair of 3D glasses, which we were required to wear during the ride. Each ride seats groups of 4, where they all work together to save Spider-Man and kill all the invasive spider bots. A massive spider bot evolves towards the end of the ride, where we all have to work together to kill it. For the majority of the ride, simply point your thumb and index fingers towards the screen in front of you, like if you're going to shoot a web. It can be tiring after 'shooting' for a long period of time, but it's a whole lot of fun. They even have a leaderboard with high scores posted when you exit the ride, like in a real video game. I think our final score was around 70,000 or something close to that. Oh, and be sure to recycle your 3D glasses prior to exiting, just like in 3D movies. ;) read more

I'm suprised people don't like this ride as much, it's very fun. I'm thinking it's because you get a semi workout with it. Overall it's usually not a long wait but you can always do single rider for it if you want to go after. It's a game ride where you do the web slinging motion to hit different color spiders machines, each color gives different points but also there are other things you can hit that will do special actions that you should keep an eye out for. Overall if you like more active fun rides I recommend it, over Buzz and Midway mania. read more

Hubby, our daughters and I went on this fun interactive 3D ride! Baby was passed in my arms so I couldn't shoot as many webs to score as many points as they did lol! I'm still shocked over the hate of this Disneyland attraction. Yeah, it's the result of an admittedly lazy effort by the Imagineers, I'll give you that. After all, you just ride through a 3D movie with spiders, but there's something really fun to me when I get to "sling" webs with my arms. I sorta see this ride as a way for me to become Spider-Man for a few minutes, and that's pretty exciting to me! The line is always long here, and you're first taken inside to a holding pen and preshow with a digital projection of Peter Parker. The premise is that it's an open house at Stark Labs, and replicating spiders have mutated and are on the loose. You are sent through the labs to help Spider-Man capture as many of these rogue spiders as you can. This is a very labor intensive ride, as you have to move your arms back and forth to "sling" webs. It's really cool how the ride digitizes your movements as you trap spiders just like Spider-Man. I take this way too seriously and am highly competitive and as a result, there have been times where I have gotten woozy on the ride. It also moves around a lot and isn't great if you are prone to motion sickness (although this is mostly due to the realistic 3D and not so much the ride vehicle movement). My arms BURN after this too, so it's a good workout! If you love Spider-Man or have always wanted to BE Spider-Man, you're going to love this ride. read more

We didn't have much time to really dilly dally at Avenger's Campus as we arrived at DCA at 9:30pm. So we quickly dashed and decided let's do WEB Slingers. It was about a 40 minute wait if you weren't doing the Lightning Lane even at 9:30pm. We waited in line trying to fan ourselves as we were cooling off from the fast walking we did to get to the park. We eventually got to the first holding area. Then you go into another area with a preshow which is basically Tom Holland aka Peter Parker aka Spiderman talking about the bots. Stick to the left as that's the door that will open to get you to another area to get your 3D glasses. Our friends told us what to do and what to expect, but it still was quite unclear. Once we were in, they give you a quick tutorial and it's REALLY quick like insanely quick. Then it's no holds bar, good luck, hopefully it works. I felt like I was flinging my webs but it wasn't really going in the right direction. I didn't know how to grab and pull in. Basically it's utter chaos. There are different colored bots that have different point values. My arms hurt...yeah apparently this is a workout. But I still didn't really truly understand how things worked which I wish they did several screens to help you through different movements so that you're ready for the battle. This is the kind of ride, you probably need to go several times to get how to do things. But alas we had one shot. I still love Toy Story Mania. This was a nice change but again probably need more times for me to understand how it all truly works. Is it worth the wait? Also, it's a freakin arm work out. You're constantly flinging your entire arm from fingertips to your shoulder like you're Spiderman himself with constant web slinging arm motion. At one point, I find myself just flailing my arms hoping I'm still ranking up points. I know this ride has been a few years old now so tips & tricks are pretty well known but the rare colors like green, golden yellow and some other ones are worth more points than the usual red & blue ones. Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure debuted when Avengers Campus opened up in 2021 at Disney California Adventure. The ride starts off when guests enter the main headquarters of WEB, a program funded by Tony Stark. They are then greeted by Peter Parker himself (the Tom Holland version from the MCU movies). Things go crazy and you are taken to a room where you put on some 3-D glasses and enter a WEB Slinger vehicle. While on the ride, you shoot webs at Spider-Bots that are crawling all over WEB headquarters. Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure is more like a video game than a ride. It is very similar to the Toy Story ride. After all of the hype that Disney made about the opening of Avenger Campus, this ride was a bit of a letdown. Especially considering that Spider-Man is one of Marvel's most popular characters. I found shooting at the screen with the web shooters was a little difficult and tiring. But I did enjoy the scenes with Tom Holland at the beginning of the ride. Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! is still the better ride at Avengers Campus. Travel around the town shooting webs at the rogue spider bots. Different colors and sizes give you different amount of points (I think??). Extend your arms out to shoot your web slingers. I'm assuming you can sling webs as fast and your arms can move. No drops or high speeds so it's not one of those thrill seeking rides. Fun for all ages.
