Baby back ribs, two sides selected-garlic mash and cole slaw

Awesome service, yummy food, and great seating next to the grills (all the better to see everyone's meal selections!). Sorry, drank my ginger hibiscus mojito before a pic could be taken (sans alcohol) and yes, it was delish!

The mecca of BBQ, if you are a red-blooded American, you owe it to yourself to trek here and grab a BIG G burger. Alternatively, the New York Stripe with Truffle Butter is completely worth it as well. WEBER is the best BBQ grill and their restaurant is the best BBQ restaurant.

Roasted Squash & Apple Salad with Shrimp

We came here for a late lunch. The place was mostly empty with a few customers at 1 pm on a Saturday, but the food exceeded expectation. We ordered the sticky ribs and pretzel for appetizers. The ribs were really good! The meat fell off the bones and the sauce was flavorful! The pretzel was very soft, but I tasted some sourness to it. I'm not a huge fan of the pretzel, but my husband loves it. The Big G burger was also his favorite. Patty was tender and juicy, and the buns were soft, which made it way better than many other burgers. The salad was fresh. I don't think I saw roasted squash, but maybe the orange cube was it? The orange cube tasted like carrots though. The shrimp was fresh but a bit too salty for me. Overall, good food and service. Will come back again next time.

Weber Grill is a solid staple that I like to visit regularly. It doesn't get particularly crowded in the evenings and it's not too large. The booths are a nice size, great for groups or dining alone. The complimentary bread and butter is a highlight on its own. The food is always consistent and the quality aligns with the price point. I highly recommend the prime rib and the chocolate cake.

Came here on a Saturday night with a reservation but the restaurant is huge so I think we could have walked right in. The service was really friendly and attentive. I got the signature G burger and my spouse got the steak and fries. I ordered my burger medium rare and they did a good job cooking it to my liking. We both felt the entree portions were a bit small so we ended up ordering the calamari to fill us up and we're glad we did since it was pretty good. If we're in the area again for a show we'd definitely consider coming back.

Pretty solid spot for American food in Chicago. One of my friends has been coming here for almost 20 years and loves this place so I've been a few times. We went to dinner tonight and unfortunately his favorite server hector was not in. I can't remember his name but our server was super friendly and took great care of us. We ordered the crabcake to start and it was flavorful and good. The chili my friend ordered he said he loved - his favorite is the steak and black bean and this one was a pinto and chicken. Although not hai favorite chili of theirs, he said this one was very good. I ordered the beef can chicken after he and my server recommended it and my friend ordered the bbq chicken. The beef can chicken was a MASSIVE portion and the chicken was incredibly flavorful and extremely juicy. The au jus was incredibly tasty and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were both perfectly done. I wish I had more room because I could eat this all day! My friend loved his chicken as well. Overall, I think this is a really solid spot for dinner. It is business casual, so I think you can come in sort of casual and maybe a little dressed up but it's not too fancy or anything. Great place for a good dinner. I'd be back!

It is so hard for me to give a review because I just cant get past how filthy the open kitchen is.

Banana Pudding (Carryout)

I decided to pick up some late lunch and it went pretty well. I decided to go with their BBQ meatloaf, which is made with Angus beef and seems to have been somehow grilled at one point, which is interesting. It had great flavor, was tender, and of good quality (aka not full of gristle). I do wish it was a bit more saucy, but the host was friendly and ensure I had a side of bbq sauce. Still, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pour some bbq sauce heated from a saucepan and have the meatloaf either sitting on top or get smothered by the sauce. I also wish the green beans were more tender as I felt like a rabbit eating it (even my poor plastic fork couldn't pierce them and I had to get them stuck between the prongs), but that's just my preference. It's just too bad the Toast carryout site doesn't have an option to add a note for well-done veggies. The garlic mashed potatoes were perfection and most definition doesn't need a gravy of any kind to help it. I also got banana pudding. I was curious how they'll package it, but they did a fair job and it was delicious!

Eric and Lily greeted me and were excellent in their people skills. I came for lunch and got one of my favorite meals here: ribs! (only 1/2 slab) I placed an order to go. I would have stayed but had other commitments. 1/2 slab of ribs and my 2 sides (a double of cold slaw due to my allergies) were my chosen lunch items. The ribs, which I feel are the best in Chicago, were epic. Soft but biteable. Perfect amount of rib sauce too. I'd change nothing. The sauce is the perfect flavor. The cole slaw is mediocre at best. A different flavor, and if that's parsley in there --dial it back. I think they could do better with the sides (more allergy -friendly) but it does not negate how fantastic their food is. Best ribs IMHO. They even have a Grill Room for private parties. I used to frequent Weber in Oak Brook area but I think this one supersedes it. Too bad they took away their brisket nachos for Happy Hour. Those made the best Happy Hour snacks anywhere! Great job, Weber Grill! Just too good

End up at this location after our first dinner choice was a busy. It was raining pretty hard so we wanted to find something close. as we walked in, we were seated promptly. Our server came by quickly and took our drink orders. We ordered margaritas honestly they were not the best. We had the crabcake as our appetizer it was fluffy and fresh and had a good flavor. My friend had the grilled pizza which was actually pretty tasty and the other two had the 26th St. shrimp. The shrimp was a little spicy, but it had a good flavor . For my main I had the beer, canned chicken with the garlic, roasted potatoes. The chicken was very moist and flavorful, and the mashed potatoes were bomb. Everyone enjoy their meal. If in a pinch and need a decent meal this place will work. I would just try a different drink.

e went for drinks and appetizers for the third time. The other times were great. This was the best time though. Why? The ambiance was unbelievable. Carlos, our bartender, was attentive and a great mixologist. All the staff were friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. Apps were good, but we came for the drinks and we weren't disappointed.

I've been to the Schaumburg location a few times over the years, but never to this one, so when in the area we came in for a large business dinner. Our server, Hector was very attentive and helpful... he did a very nice job keeping an eye on the table and bringing us what we needed! The menu is loaded with so many delicious-sounding items to choose from! The only issue is execution needs some work. The line-caught halibut they had on special was overcooked when we got it, so it was dry and not as flavorful as it should have been. The jerk chicken thighs (als on special) were dry and overcooked as well, not much flavor from them. Their side salad to start with had warm, partially wilted, definitely not crispy/cool lettuce, which made it not very appealing and their homemade Thousand Island dressing was bland. Some good things were their mac & cheese and mashed potato sides - they were both excellent! Their street corn appetizer (on special) was fresh and very tasty and their chicken wings were excellent. Banana pudding also came out quite nice. Overall, for the low prices they charge and the decent service they provided, I'm giving them 4 stars, even though there were issues with the entrées. I'd definitely return, but I would just talk to them about expectations prior to ordering and make sure we don't have a repeat of over-cooked items. Definitely worth stopping in when in the area.

Haven't been at Weber grill in years. This place is an experience if love to grill. Watching the grills work is an amazing opportunity. I sat in the bar near the grills. It was fun checking out the grills and flames cooking steaks, chops, ribs and other meats. I loved watching the grilled food being served. Anything coming out looked delicious. The Sunday night service was busy. People were coming in for food. Oh yes, plus food app pickup as well. The overall food experience. The service was good, they were busy. The food was awesome my bacon, cheese burger was juicy and my chicken wings were perfect. Reminds me of my grilled chicken wings. The prices are fair, the restrooms are clean. I will post pictures. I highly recommend this place. No only did I tip my server. But I tip the cook for doing a good job.

And he did, punctuating our dinner with a wonderful dessert with a birthday candle. Speaking of candles, the focaccia appetizer came out with a lit candle that melts a tasty, buttery dipping sauce. I had work done at the dentist earlier, so I had a hard time eating. Every bite was painful, but I heated up our leftovers and fell in love with my rigatoni with vodka sauce all over again. Yum. You know, 5 star service is such a lost art, it makes you forget how much you miss it when all of a sudden it happens to be right in front of you. Ricardo, our bartender, what a gem. Forget about the perfectly made drinks that were served to us. Ricardo made us feel right at home with his kind disposition and friendly demeanor. But it doesn't just stop at Ricardo. Everyone was absolutely fantastic. We could have been served 7-11 sushi at this point and I still would have left 5 stars. Food time. The kimchi pork dumplings were an absolute flavor bomb and that parmesan broth gave the dumplings a little extra kick that took it to the next level. Plus, I love when the dumpling wrapper has a little chew to it and isn't this soft mush that dissolves in your mouth. The beef fat frites were a nice treat as well. They were not extra or over the top in anyway. But you can tell when something is done well and correctly, just like these fries were. The Premium Steakhouse Set, in my opinion, is all two people need to enjoy this very special experience. I explained further if there is a cancellation would love to be notified and she wrote my name down. I went back to the lobby, looked on OpenTable and I saw multiple reservations. I went back to the hostess showing the 8:15 resy I got and she said it wasn't accurate and if someone booked it and came they would refuse them (what???!! There's a cancellation fee as well). I asked about the 8:45 and her coworker said that IS available. I was confused, because a minute ago she said they were fully commited. Which I said back, she said there is actually an 8:45 (okay so you lied). I asked if we could put our name down for that and did. After that extremely strange interaction, which I was not used to after eating at many higher end restaurants we sat down at 8:45. We ended up getting a mix of small plates. The waiter was clearly trying to sell us their expensive courses for his tip though he was very sweet... which he may not have realized we had an expense budget for work and we were trying not pass that. He emphasized the small plates were small and not enough food which we fell for and got more and had way too much food and passed our expense budget due to it. The food is great, it's the service that has work to do especially for such a high price tag. Get the chicken for sure. Dumplings you can pass on. The broccolini (not pictured) is great as well. Amazing sauce. As the food is good I would not come here again due to the service as their are other restaurants that are more buttoned up than this.

They also made us an anniversary card, gave us complimentary sparkling water, and surprised us with a slice of key lime pie. The hospitality was incredible and made us feel genuinely celebrated. The stone crab was super fresh and the mustard sauce was the perfect pairing. The crab bisque was rich and creamy. The filet was cooked perfectly with a great sear, while the stuffed lobster tail was warm, flavorful, and topped with a parmesan crust. The lobster roll was solid with a perfectly toasted brioche bun. The sweet corn was sweet, buttery, and smoky. For dessert, the blueberry pie was so comforting. We greatly enjoyed our conversation with him and he even gifted me a coffee table book detailing the history and menu of La Grande Boucherie, which was so kind and such an amazing gesture. Fernando set our experience apart from any other dining experience in Chicago and he made this meal one of our favorites!

We booked a table for 8 to celebrate an 80th birthday. The service was fine as was the ambiance,…read morebut we found the food to be mediocre and overpriced. We ordered the $195.00 seafood tower, only to find that it barely included any seafood, 1/2 of a lobster, 4 shrimp and about a dozen oysters. I understand that Chicago is not a coastal city, but to not even include an entire lobster for a tower that cost $195.00?! Yikes! The drinks are also very expensive, and we found the steaks to be tough and dry. The Niçoise salad was awful, and not at all what we expected. It was drowning in dressing and the combination of anchovies and tuna did not work. It was also quite obvious that the tuna was not seared properly. I did think the roast chicken was good, and the fries were by far the best part of the meal. We went to several fine restaurants over the past few days to celebrate a milestone birthday, and La Grande Boucherie was the absolute worst in terms of value and quality of food. They were also the only establishment that didn't give the celebrant a small desert with a candle to mark the occasion. Just disappointing all around.

So helpful with the suggestions, so attentive and so kind and personable!!! Off of her amazing recommendations we got the tuna tartare, hamachi crudo, miso salmon , skirt steak and bread pudding !!! I would order every single item again! The skirt steak specifically was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri was absolutely phenomenal!!! I will be thinking about it for a while! The blueberry spritz was so good I had three lol! I love that every day they have specific specials so Monday night was steak frites. The tartare was perfect to share and lasted a lot longer than we thought! Who I think was the manager came by a few times to make sure all was well which just felt so nice for a Monday night. This place is perfect for GNO, Business Dinner, or a Third+ date! I have nothing but positive things to say!! AMAZING place

Ambiance and decor is top notch! This is SUCH a pretty spot! Very IG-worthy, with different details and moods on different walls. The bar was especially stunning. Service was impeccable. From the minute we walked in, the host and manager were friendly and personable. Our server was the right amount of conversational to make it feel personal but not overwhelmingly so. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu and had great recs. When I asked about "Sophia style" he had great descriptions and recommended it as his personal go-to. The bus staff was also incredibly attentive and wiped down the table between courses (a detail of fine dining that I think makes a huge difference!) Now the FOOD! Wow the truffle fries were some of the best fries I've ever had in my life. Weird item to lock in on, I know, but a good fry tells you everything else will be amazing too. It was crispy on the outside and the perfect pillowy texture on the inside. The steaks and bacon were incredible. It was cooked exactly as I like (I like mine medium well and run into a lot of places undercooking it. I know, it's unpopular but I am also paying for what I want. So I appreciate the perfection from Sophia on this one!) and I really enjoyed it Sophia Style. I love that all steaks already come with the house steak sauce and steak salt at bare minimum. The chocolate cake was AMAZING. it's gigantic, they literally served it with a steak knife lol. It's hazelnut and chocolate so it has a very rich deep flavor. They brought it out with a candle for my birthday which was a nice touch! Sophia Steak made my birthday dinner feel very special and we cannot recommend it enough for your special occasion!
