The bacon seemed old, like it was cooked in the morning and used throughout the day. The burger was like a 2/5. The fries were not bad but not good either. 3/5 Asked for ranch and ketchup, the ranch dressing tasted weird. The drink was a fountain drink, so no complaints there. Pretty standard drink. Absolutely disgusting cheeseburger. The meat was just little skinny frozen patties. I got bacon extra on it and the bacon was so old and gross. It must've been from yesterday. I don't even know. I don't know why they don't do that for every customer. They just have a pile of old fries, sitting there and give you some shit that was cooked an hour ago. My bf and I drive by this place often so we decided to give it a try. We ordered 2 double wedge combo meals. Their fries were fresh and perfectly salted. They don't have that old "fry oil" taste other burger places have. Star of the show are their burgers!! Pattie's are juicy and weren't dry. I recommend ordering "the wedge works" on your burger. It's a combo of grilled onion, pickles, secret sauce, ketchup, lettuce, tomato and FRIED MUSTARD!! Their plain burgers are just as good too, my bf orders his burgers plain lol. The fried mustard complimented the burger well. Their shakes here are very good too! They don't have an artificial taste. The workers here are kind too. There's a certain seasoning they use, ever so gently, that elevates this burger to a high status for me. Kinda tastes like Lawry's Seasoning Salt, but kinda not. Wedge Burger! OMG. This place is better than In-n-Out. Also it has awesome prices. I got a big juicy double patty burger for 4.85. That's just unbeatable for the quality of this burger. Really small burger joint and the girls inside do the best they can to keep the line going. I was shocked at the quality of this burger. It is one of the best tasting burgers I have ever had. If you want fast food in Costa Mesa, this just cannot be beat. Legit this burger doesn't even need fries. The burger is a star on its own. It is so juicy and flavorful.
