Went in on a Sunday morning for coffee with my grandmother and was a perfect spot! Plenty of seating and not overly crowded for midday on a Sunday. People were in there chatting but also reading/studying and the noise level wasn't too much. I did not realize everything at TG Farmers Market closes at 1230! I was looking for something close by and oddly enough I could have walked here for as far away as my car was. I was so excited about the concept of this place. Cute patio, very cute inside, very clean bathroom. A menu full of panini options and alcohol if I so desired at 1230 on a Saturday. I opted for coffee instead. I found a spot on the patio and waited for my food. No way around it, my experience was not great. The coffee had a very strange, after taste and my panini, while delightful on the outside edges was cold in the middle. Another spot on my list can be checked off and then revisited again and again! Ended up here after the Best of Missouri Market at the Botanical Gardens and so glad we did. Nice outdoor patio with tables but opted to eat inside. Order at the counter and then find a seat. Pretty space, open and airy. Lots to choose from but I ended up with the Vito Corleone minus the cheese, a side of Well Met Chili, and couldn't pass up fried potato salad out of the cold case. I was a little nervous that the panini was going to be too buttery for me (I know, I am strange, but I am picky about butter!) but it was perfect! Full of great flavor, crispy, not greasy. The chili was great, loved the beans and the beef flavor. The fried potato salad had a great flavor, it was a little dry but I would order again, the flavor was so good. Hidden gem near Tower Grove Park, with order at the counter service. We walked for lunch after the Japanese Festival at the Botanical Gardens. The sandwiches have catchy Hollywood names. I had a Claire Huxtable turkey, bacon, and provolone sandwich. It was the perfect size and filling enough not to need a side (forgot to snap a pic). I also enjoyed my usual oat milk latte. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but if I pay $11 for a breakfast sandwich (after tax + tip), I kind of expect the egg to be real. Stopped in to Well Met Cafe after strolling through the Garden for a light-ish lunch. You order at the counter and then have a seat if dining in. They take your name, ostensibly to call you when the order is ready. However, while we ate, the worker brought all the orders out to the patrons' tables - even the ones seated outside. There were seven tables full by the time we left (about half full), so I don't know if that would have continued as the place filled further, but it was a nice touch. There is a nice, relaxing vibe to the establishment. Music is low and calming, everything is very clean and neat, and there is a power strip will many plugs that runs the length of the tables. In fact, of the four tables filled on the inside, three (those other than us) were occupied by solo women that brought their laptops to lunch and work. The food itself was quite good. We both got paninis, so it's not an especially difficult concept to execute - but it was well executed. The sandwiches use large slices of sourdough (I think) bread and are cut diagonally. It's funny that while they were good sized, the arrangement didn't look that large. However, I was nice and full when I finished eating. The bread was well buttered, but not greasy, and toasted just right - not dry but not still soft. They are also quite a bit of filling ingredients, so that there was some good heft. And the different fillings were well thought out to produce an excellent mixed flavor. My Sarah Conner had ham, bacon, brie, apricot jam, dijon mustard, and mixed greens. The dijon mustard was enough to taste but not overpower, the greens lightened it up a bit, and the jam's flavor and sweetness perfectly offset the savory/heavy ham/bacon/brie. The Clair Huxtable was a brighter option with turkey, bacon, provolone, greens, marinated tomato, avocado, and polite sauce. Again, the combination of tomato, avocado, and sauce gave a complementary lift to the meat and cheese. Now the thought that went into the ingredients mix was important, but would not work if the ingredients were not top notch. And they were top notch. Very good sandwiches! read more

I've only ever gotten DoorDash from them but plan to go in soon because their food has been excellent! They always have my order correct and it doesn't take long. I've tried multiple sandwiches and they're all very good! Sometime a little too much avocado would be my only complaint but it's easy to take a little off. Well Met just opened, and my wife and I went to check it out. The people working there were friendly and smiling from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left. The cafe is beautifully decorated with an assortment of potted plants, giving it a welcoming, relaxed vibe. The paninis are all cleverly named for famous characters from TV and movies. I got the Ron Swanson (roast beef, ham, turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, American cheese, romaine, dill pickles, and the polite sauce from Polite Society, one of their other restaurants). It was piled high, and absolutely delicious, just as that character would have loved. My wife got the Sara Conner (ham, bacon, brie, apricot jam, dijion mustard, and arugala). She really enjoyed it as well, and said the apricot jam was particularly amazing. I think the team from Polite Society, The Bellwether, Subdivision, and Intergalactic have another hit on their hands! We tried for first time dinner, Tuesday, 5/7, and it was really delicious. I had the Liz Lemon - really tasty grilled cheese that had some yummy house sauce. I'm not sure what it contained but really good. Husband had the Arthur Dent that we really liked -- roast beef, caramelized onions, plus more, and sauerkraut. Food came out quickly and hot. A wide variety of beers, waters, sodas available and wine by the bottle. We will definitely be back and want to try out breakfast (which includes Bloody Mary, mimosa) and all the coffee / espresso drinks. Next time for dinner we will probably share a panini and split one of the salads. They have a little retail with local honey, jam, teas, etc. It looks like a small deck will be ready soon for outdoor dining. read more
