    My new Tiguan!

I had a great experience working with Andreas Becker at Wellesley Volkswagen. He was patient, knowledgeable, and very transparent throughout the entire process. What truly stood out was that Andreas personally delivered the car to me in New Hampshire, which went above and beyond my expectations. Buying a car on my own as a woman is not always easy, and upselling can often be part of the experience. At Wellesley VW, however, I received only fair, respectful, and highly professional customer service. I felt supported, never pressured, and I have complete peace of mind knowing I made a great decision. I would absolutely return and recommend this dealership to others.

I was shopping for a used Volkswagen online and came across a 2024 Tiguan SE at Wellesley Volkswagen. Eric Tonkonogy was our salesman and he let me know that the Tiguan that I was interested in had sold earlier that day. However, they had a 2023 Tiguan SEL R-Line with low mileage that hadn't gone online yet. Eric took us out for a test drive and told us all about the additional features. After going over the pricing, I wanted to go home and think about it and he didn't pressure me at all. I decided to purchase it the next day and made arrangements. On the day of the sale the SUV was ready and Eli helped me with all the financing. I would've given this review five stars, but upon pick up my husband noticed some nicks on the rear bumper that wasn't disclosed to us, plus an item was forgotten about and I had to drive back to the dealership today to get it. Other than those two those two things, everything was great.

Jens Albrecht is an absolute gem! From the moment I began discussing the lease of a VW ID.4 with him, it was clear that he was going to be a reliable, honest, and knowledgeable guide throughout the process. Jens was thoughtful, patient, informative, and genuinely personable. He didn't just answer my questions--he proactively shared valuable insights about the leasing process and what to expect, including things I wouldn't have even thought to ask. At no point did he bad-mouth other car brands or dodge any of my concerns. His transparency and integrity made the experience smooth and stress-free. After I finalized my decision to lease, Jens spent a full hour with me going over the features of my new EV to ensure I felt confident and comfortable before driving off. Then he also encouraged me to reconnect after a couple of weeks driving with additional queries. This dealership is truly exceptional! If anyone I know is looking to lease, I'll be sending them straight here. With Jens and finance manager, Eli on the team, this place is top-tier--absolutely Platinum!

I looked under the car and could see a piece of exhaust pipe hanging down. Luckily, I was near a muffler shop in Newton and they agreed to take a look. They told me my muffler had blown-out and that the rear pipe was badly damaged, and it would cost about $450 to repair it. They said they had the parts and would be finished in two to three hours. I decided to take it to another muffler shop I had taken cars to in the past. On the way, I stopped at a gas station, explained my problem, and asked if they could tie-up the exhaust pipe that was hanging down so I could get to the muffler shop without further damaging the system. The guy told me they just sold gas but there was a separate garage attached to the station and they might make a temporary fix for me. The guy in the garage, Jim, said he would see what he could do after he finished working on the car on the lift, which might take an hour. I decided to wait. After about 30 minutes, he put my car up on the lift to look at it. He came into the very small waiting room and said, "You're lucky. Your exhaust pipe isn't damaged, it just needs a new sleeve." When I asked what a sleeve was, he said, "I think I have one in stock; if I do I'll show it to you." He did. indeed, have one. It was a 6-inch tube with a clamp and bolt on either end. He explained that my sleeve had rusted out but that the two pipes it connected looked ok. He said, "I won't know until I take the old sleeve off and can see if the pipes are damaged but, in 90 percent of the cases, we just have to replace the sleeve. I asked what it would cost and he said, "I don't think it will be more than $100." Not quite believing that we wouldn't have some costly complications, I told him to go ahead. He finished the job in about 25 minutes and the car was perfect. I was amazed and very, very pleased. The final bill was under $80, another pleasant surprise. I will recommend Quinlan's, and Jim in particular, to any of my friends who need auto repairs. The only thing I'm unhappy about is that it took me so long to find him.

I brought my older BMW into Haskins for service and an estimate after being rear ended. They quickly provided a detailed estimate and ran through a few alternatives that I could think about, but sadly my insurance company determined that the car was a total loss and gave me the option of a payout for the value of the car. After agreeing to the amount, my insurance company tried to reduce the settlement and pay me considerably less. The people at Haskins were not obligated to help me negotiate with my insurance company (they were being paid their full amount regardless), but they went over and above and fought for me. They convinced my insurance company that what they were doing was not right, and I was paid every dollar I was promised! I could not have had a better outcome. I would recommend Haskins and their people to anyone (especially local Wellesley/Weston neighbors) needing automotive help. We are lucky to have this shop in town!!

NAC charged us around 4 hours of labor to reconnect a wire that goes to a temperature sensor, claiming the wire was chewed by an animal. Once we started driving upon picking up the car - which was supposed to be repaired, we noticed the Check Engine light was still on. We thought NAC must have forgotten to reset the car computer after fixing the broken wire. We weren't worried because NAC told us there is an one year warranty, and we didn't have a chance to go back there immediately due to the holiday season. We didn't plan to use the car much anyway. We brought the car back in January. NAC claimed that it was the same exact wire that was chewed again by an animal, and this time charged us near 2 hours of labor, and changed the wire connector. It is noticeable that they didn't change the wire connector the first time. Their claim about animal chewing the wire is extremely bizarre, because the car has been parked on the driveway of a house in an affluent Boston suburb neighborhood, in December-January where outdoor animal activities are limited due to the cold weather. When we complained about the charge for the second repair - which should be under warranty, they don't recognize that they didn't properly fix the wiring issue the first time. Instead, we were accused of lying about the Check Engine light never being turned off. We are concerned about Natick Auto Clinic's commitment to quality workmanship and honesty in business practice.

It ended up being wiring that I had replaced but it still hasn't been completely fixed. The mechanics couldn't figure it out. Fast forward to now December 4, 2025. My car since the weather has turned colder barely starts. I have to literally will it to start lol (which sounds weird to the unknowing but actually works). Note at bottom for how to do this :) I did this in order to get it to start so I could drive to this Autozone before the mechanics. - My friend had checked my battery and it came back low for a newer purchase. I was greeted by Evan who immediately pulled up my account and warranty for my battery, asked if I wanted to replace it. He then said he could run tests to make sure it wasn't the alternator or something else causing the battery to drain. Upon his inspection, and my car then not starting for him, he found that the battery connection was actually loose around the (two circle things? haha) He explained that this needs to be flush in order for a smooth electrical connection. He adjusted it and suddenly it started smoothly. He then suggested adding a small component that makes this circuit more snug so I wouldn't have to worry about it coming loose again. Less than five dollars spent, great conversation with a great person and my car fixed. Thank you so much again Evan! I probably could've said this in shorter review however, anyone who might have a problem starting their car or lights on, it could just be a simple wiring issue or this, so don't panic and assume the worst. If we trust the universe (in advance) to give us what we need and not put more on our plate than we can handle, then thats what we will get.
