We couldn't find a bathroom anywhere and traveling back to Cali from Oregon due to work situations with two granddaughters, a six year old and 2yr old who aren't able to hold their pee and wendys was the only one that let us go in and the restroom was extremely clean and didn't smell bad one bit. So I rarely leave reviews, but after 12 hours in the car today, I needed a drink and a treat to get us through the last hours of our trip. 8 pm and tried Arby's, and they were closed, so hit the Wendy's drive thru. I ordered the bacon pub fries, ice water, and a frosty. The fries were pretty good (hey cheese, bacon, potatoes, yum). This is our drop off location for gas/bathroom breaks before our Disneyland visits and I do have to admit that the place is nice and clean but the sandwiches are old dry and hard. My 7 years old son would normally eat 2 Jr Baconators but at this location he couldn't even finish 1. He said the meat was hard and as you can see, the meat looks old, reheated and passed on to the next customer/day. He only finished the bun and passed on the meat. I offered to exchange the sandwich but he loss his appetite and didn't want anymore food. I didn't want to complain because I don't want any food after any complaint (retaliatory meals are horrible, lol) and he had already eaten most of his sandwich. This is just an FYI for you all but for sure we're not coming back here for our next go of gas/food break. read more

Slowest drive thru ever, we just went through in&out and surprisingly they were faster.

The food is Wendy's, which is good, although I didn't care for the chili much as it seemed a bit cold. What really bothered me was that the TV was tuned into the OANN network, which is fascist propaganda. I don't know why they would feel the need to broadcast such filth in their restaurant, but there are plenty of food options in Lebec and I won't spend my money where they force feed you ultra conservative propaganda while you eat. read more

This location is clearly capitalizing on their location to jack up their prices for unsuspecting travelers. Fine- that's capitalism - but it also managed to limbo well below the standards of a normal Wendy's at the same time. Great food and consistent. Place overall seemed clean except the floors were a little sticky when standing in line. Order came out really fast. Seems they've made a few changes over the years to the details... like the pickles seem more bread and butter vs dill which is weird... red onion? Chicken sandwich is a little bland but still good- add some ketchup and you're golden. Fries are great! Frosty comes in vanilla or chocolate- my husband commented that vanilla a new thing... but we haven't been here for years. Prices didn't seem bad to me. Could be more than McDonald's but it's just different. $3.79 for a cheeseburger just doesn't seem like airport pricing. $7-8 does. read more

And they seem to be in a hurry, yet take forever to get you your order that they half listened to in order to get it incorrect. Thank goodness for the Tejon Ranch/Lebec stop on the 5 whenever I head up to the Bay area from LA. The area has a good selection of food options, including Starbucks and In-n-Out burger as well. Wendy's is also one of my regular places to get a quick bite to eat. Food is consistent, service is friendly, but the wait to get your food can be awhile, even when there's fewer than 5 people in the place. read more

The prices are jacked up and there is no dollar menu. The inside dining room has a tv. They also have a some tables outside. I was here a couple of Saturday's ago. After walking in and seeing the long lines, we decided to use the drive thru instead. As we got closer up in line, we noticed a sign warning folks about bees. The slatted fence that runs parallel to the menu board and intercom seemed to be a haven for wasps. There was some flying around. Yikes! The food was consistent to all the other Wendy's I've been to. For a party of 6, our drive thru order was correct. The line went relatively quick. Overall, it's an ok place to stop. Hopefully they got an exterminator out there pronto to fix the "bee" situation. read more

Stopped here on 11/01 @ 1:43 pm during a drive up to NorCal. Was served the oldest chicken tenders in existence. These things were incredibly inedible to the point that I couldn't pull them into pieces because they were so hard and dry. Sadly, I watched the manager prepping the food that day so this was conscious decision to serve very old food. These were most likely leftovers from the noon lunch rush. As far as fast food goes Wendys is among the best. This particular location is a part of a travel plaza with a sit down restaurant, a Baskin Robins, some shops and a small video game room attached. The building is a little older and could use a good deep cleaning. The food was fine although I will never understand why Wendys continues to keep control of the soda fountain rather than allowing customers to serve themselves. I witnessed several people looking for refills and being ignored by the staff who were trying to take care of other tasks between customers. The bathrooms here were okay and had a changing station for the little ones, so bonus points for that. read more

Came on 1/10/22 4:15 pm Ordered a couple of burger meals and a chicken sandwich meal, with a couple of frostys in the drive thru. About 10 minutes down the road we realized the wrong sandwich was given to us for one of the meals so we turned around and went back. We came back and let them know we got the wrong sandwich and asked if we could get the right one and also get a new frosty due to it being for my dad who was 15 minutes away at home. The "lady" was rude about it and said the reason we came back was for the chicken sandwich and not the frosty. I explained it was for my father who lives 15 minutes away and that with the trip we had already endured due to HER mishap, the frosty would be melted by the time we got there. She continued to play the dumb card (very rudely) and repeated that the reason we were there was for the sandwich and not the frosty. She then took my frosty from me, dumped it into a different cup, and did God-Knows-What to it. She thought we couldn't see but we did. No wonder she works a minimum wage job and looks ate up, probably the high point of her life. Will no longer go to this ghetto restaurant. The employees give out a negative vibe and that customers are an inconvenience to them hanging out and chilling with each other. This Wendy's is pretty average but it does the job considering where it's located. I'd recommend using the drive through if you don't have to get out and stretch your legs because there were a lot of bugs flying around inside the dining area where we were trying to eat. The service was quick and the guy at the register was nice and helpful but I didn't enjoy swatting bugs away while I was eating my chicken nuggets -___- There is plenty of seating inside and the bathrooms are average and thankfully the area is nicely air conditioned which was super refreshing given the intense heat outside. $2 for a five piece chicken nuggets! =D read more

This Wendy's is a perfectly good place to stop for a meal or snack while driving up or down California. Located just off the 5 with gas stations, sit-down restaurants, and tons of other fast food options, Wendy's is a much better choice for fresh food than say, McDonald's or Taco Bell. This Wendy's wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon - there were plenty of people inside but the line wasn't long to order and our food came out quickly. The cashier was polite and friendly, something you don't often see at these middle of nowhere fast food stops. The bathrooms were reasonably tidy. They have the fancy new soda dispensers with tons of sodas and flavorings you can add. I got a half size apple pecan salad and an order of chili cheese fries - after getting my food I realized I'd love some sour cream with the fries (fatty life) and someone was happy to give me a pack. I wish they'd had the summer berry salad but it wasn't available :( The salad was nothing to write home about but for a fast food salad, the chicken was flavorful, if quite dry. The chili cheese fries were....... swimming in chili. Now, that is my kinda order of chili cheese fries but probably isn't a lot of folks' cup of tea. These require a fork. Or a spoon. The fries had soaked up a ton of that iconic Wendy's chili, tasty and packed with meat, pinto beans, and kidney beans. The sour cream I asked for was a nice way to cut all that meatiness and sopping wet fries. I also appreciated how hot the order was when I first got it - it was still toasty warm when I finished the salad. Nothing worse than cooled, congealed chili cheese fries on a road trip unable to heat it up. They do not have a four for four menu but what's crazy is I just paid $3.19 for a medium fry that's outrageous . Wendy's has a good menu. This restaurant is brand-new. However, the management did not appropriately anticipate the crowd today. I saw only four employees working, including just one at the register. Nobody is picking up trash or wiping down tables in the dining room. This restaurant is on interstate five. It is one week before Christmas. Hilarious. ordered 5 pcs chicken nuggets for $1.99. Total was $2.14. While I was waiting for the order, I saw the sign at the cashier box that says, "if you don't get a receipt, your order is free". Surprisingly, I did not get a receipt when I paid. So I asked if it would be free. They found the guy that took my order and guy said to me, "I will put receipt in bag, I didn't forget about you." I said that was fine, that also works. When I got my nuggets and was almost out the door, I looked in my bag and didn't see any receipt. Not that I needed the receipt but just wondered if they are holding up their end to see if they honor what they say. He said he will print it right now. I guess that sign is a deception to customers.
