Fast service in the Drive Thru. Food is always great because it's Wendy's. I was 5 cars deep and was out of there in about 2 minutes.

I came here to try their limited Krabby Patty Meal, and was so impressed with how quick and efficient the drive thru experience was. I even received a sheet of Krabby Patty stickers with my meal! The drive-thru folks got my order right, the food was fresh and hot, and the line of cars ahead of me moved so quickly that by the time I took a photo of the sign, it was already my turn to order. This is one of the better wendy's, that I have been to. The young lady that greeted me on the drive through speaker was very friendly. When I went to pay, she was at the window and greeted me with a hello, how are you today? I haven't had a drive through person. Be that personable in a long time. The lobby is semi separated into two areas which was nice cause our kids were loud and we went to the more secluded area. They have tables with chairs, couch benches and comedy single seat couches. There are lots of high chairs available too. They have some killer deals too- $4 for a drink, jr cheese burger, small fries AND 4 pc chicken nuggets (can choose from spicy or regular) We got the strawberry and pineapple mango lemonade which is a 55 cent upgrade to get with the meal deal. This is what I call my home Wendy's. It's close to my home and is the one I go to most of the time. I've gone to this Wendys thousands of times. What I like about this Wendy's is that it is clean they wipe tables often and the bathrooms are nearly always very clean too, and most of the workers have worked there over a year. They are more consistent and get my order correct more often than other fast food locations. Of course like any fast food place the staff changes and every time a new employee come aboard there are mistakes. When I use the app I rarely have a mistake unless I didn't order things correctly. The food is lacking now now. The recipes and stuff if good if followed. Service is sad. They don't speak English well enough to understand orders or modifications. That's the manager on down to the cooks. A loaded baked potato becomes a plain with only sour cream and butter. No onion no cheese no bacon. Had to ask the Indian lady to give me a min a few times at the drive thru, then she got snippy. There was no one behind me or in front of me you would think she'd appreciate getting time for inside or online orders. Then when I pulled up to the window she said something like "at the beginning? It was a machine" try someone else, she knew I was coming for how she cut me off to snap "anything else??" Again after adding a combo. We got 2 salads and 2 medium Frosty's through the drive-thru tonight. It would have been a really frustrating dinner if we hadn't decided to take the food home to eat, since we didn't get any spoons for the Frosty's, or dressing for the salads. Once we got home I moved my Cobb salad into a bowl, and ended up replacing practically all the lettuce - what had come in the salad was either black or getting slimy. It looked like it had been frozen at some point. This was the first time in quite awhile that we had eaten at Wendy's, and the medium Frosty's were quite a bit smaller, too. I waited in line for 30 min to find out that they turned off the ice cream machine, we got there an hour before they closed.. Im not gonna complain without a solution however. Please, get a sign, print one out that says "SORRY FROSTY MACHINE OFF" .. So that when yall decide to turn it off, post it where people are pulling in so that they could see that it is OFF! Salty, salty, salty! First time trying the Wendy's Chicken Tenders and it was a horrible experience. The chicken pieces (4) were rather dark in color, nothing like the photos on the menu boards or in advertisements. Rather oily on top of that. I grabbed a couple of salt packets to use on my chicken, but there was no need for it. Yuck! This incident only enforces my belief in not ordering and taking out. Closed an hour early 12/5/21 Food is usually solid at this location but they do tend to close early. They have multiple signs saying "Open till 1:00" but when I arrived at 12:00am, they were closed, cleaning up inside, and ignored me at the window. On Friday Dec 31 at approx 330pm. I placed an order in the drive thru of just over 50 dollars worth of food. When we got up to the window the girl was so rude. When ever I said or asked something, she would mumble and act like it was a huge hassle to do her job. We got our bags... out of 5 drinks ordered she handed us 4, I had to ask for the 5th one., then she frowned at me like I was stupid waiting for me to leave... I then had to point out we ordered 3 medium frosties also and our 2 dollar Jr frosty card for my grandchild. She went and got the frostie key chain then went to the frosty machine and made them. I was so aggravated by that time with her I took them and we left... I then realized that she gave us 3 small frosty's not the Med I paid for. The line was huge and with 2 cranky kids in the car I just went home. When I got home We realized the Baconator double meal we ordered was not there instead there was a single with cheese in its place. The Pub sandwich meal for some reason was plain. No condiments and a single not the double... on top of that my adult daughter and I looked for our receipt and of course no receipt. I decided to call and speak with the manager, at 358pm. She took my name and told me to come back when convient and pick up my free 3 med Frosty's and burgers. Today Jan 2, 2020 at 430pm. I went in the drive through and let them know I was there giving my name. I was told to drive forward. When I got to the window. They acted like I was stupid and lying telling me that they didn't have any info and with out a receipt they weren't going to do anything. I know it's weird that I'm reviewing a fast food place, but this new Wendy's in Renton is shockingly nice! Imagine a fast food restaurant so classy that people actually go there with a book to hang out, and that's what this is. Seriously. This Wendy's is in the same parking lot as the Fred Meyer, and it used to be a Shari's diner. Now, it's a clean, modern place with nice hardwood-look flooring, comfortable chairs, and tiled accent walls. There's even a coffee-table sitting area with easy chairs and an electric fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows on one wall make it airy and bright inside, and tasteful frosted dividers give you some privacy in the booths. The menu is presented on flat-screen monitors when you come in, and then you move through a cafeteria-style counter to order, pay, and get your food. They ask for your name with your order, which sounds a little classier than having someone scream "ORDER #57!" The soda fountain is one of those newfangled high-tech machines that has a bunch of different flavor shots so you have 100+ options, but I kept it simple with a vanilla Diet Coke. Our food was prepared quickly and the guy at the counter waited patiently while I got my grandma settled and came back to pick it up. She was extremely impressed with the nice dining area and the high quality of the food (especially the hot and fresh fries), and gives it 10 stars. ;) This place is nicer than many of the hole-in-the-wall restaurants I go to regularly! The layout of this place is ridiculous. The front door is right in front of the drive-thru... You know, where cars are driving. So, there's that. The inside is weird as well. RIGHT when you walk in, the counter to order is on your right. The inside was clean and actually was really nice for a Wendy's, though. We got Dave's double combo meals. I was not impressed with the burger or the fries. The fries were for the most part about an inch and a half long. The few that were a bit bigger were limp. Came to this location to grab our kids food. On some occasion when i ask for no mayo they would put mayo. This time around I asked for no mayo due to One of my kids have an allergic reaction to it. So we always double check the Sandwiches. Today, when we got our food we grab the bag right away and started digging for the sandwiches to quickly check that the Sandwich has no mayo. Your worker in the window tells me "everything is in the bag" I tell her I'm checking if my kids sandwich has sauce. Then she says "there's a line". I didn't want to prolong the customers behind us, so we checked it quickly. Finally when I checked the burger it was ok and we left. My concern is what if it did have sauce . We can't go inside to change it . Don't tell me we would have to go back in line again . Another thing is they didn't put a receipt in the bag so we have no name to go by. Good things: The freshness of the vegetables on the burger has been improved lately at this location. But that is not saying much! Not so good things: The french fries here are bad -- limp, oily, and have black spots on the potatoes. And now for the terrible things. Only once in my last 4 visits has my order been somewhat correct (and that time I was informed that they could not deliver what I really wanted). Tonight I was given Diet-Coke instead of regular Coke (without informing me) and I didn't notice until I had left the facility. Two weeks ago I was informed that they were unable to deliver Coca-Cola so I ordered an Iced Tea instead. I was delivered Raspberry Iced-Tea (It was terrible and undrinkable in my opinion). Last time I was here, I ordered my meal with Coca-Cola and again was informed that they could not deliver it, so I ordered Iced-Tea again. The person taking my order asked me if I wanted brewed Iced Tea and when I said yes, they asked me if I wanted sweetened or un-sweetened tea. I at least received what I was expecting this time even if it wasn't what I wanted. Is the problem the apathy of management? Lack of training for employees? Apathy of employees to provide a positive customer experience? Or some combination of all of them? I will not ever be returning to this location again. And I recommend others to not visit this location. And to top it all off, I tried to place a review on the Wendy's web site. They asked me to "BE SPECIFIC" in describing my experience, and then when I tried to submit it, they said that my review was "over 1200" characters.
