No customer service what so ever! We spent the day at Sunsplash and we were heading home when we drove by Wendy's and saw the sign for a strawberry frosty. The kids were so excited so we pulled in the parking lot, the drive through line was long so my husband went in. He returned to the car empty handed and with disappointed children. He explained after entering the lobby there were about 6 employees standing around chatting, there were two others working on an ice machine. There were other customers waiting to be greeted. Finally my husband asked if he could place and order and was ignored. Someone a minute later said we'll be with you in a minute, turned away and started chatting with coworkers again. My husband decided to leave and so did the other customers! Looks like there is no leadership or there is lack of training. You would think that businesses that would like to stay open would be willing to help customers. We are trying the Wendy's down the street but have been sitting in the drive thru for about 10 minutes. Seems that this location has received all of there customers! PRICE SCAMMING !! Went on 3/13, about 3:30pm. Ordered 2 Bacon Cheeseburger from their "value menu" , price posted on menu board was $2.29, on order screen read $3.29. I brought this to the attention of employee in drive thru and she asked if I just wanted the burger I said yes. She said, it's $3.29. I then mentioned the board read $2.29. She then said, "ummm, we'll it's $3.29". I said I'll pass and exited the drive thru. The money wasn't the big deal but two thoughts, the employee was inept or was so poorly trained that she couldn't confirm the price on the board, and offer a reduction. In addition, could she not have asked a manager what to do ? Dang...was this management??in any case, I didn't press further as I thought, after this,?there was no way I was eating food from this place, who knows what could happen. Second, is this over pricing done purposely with the expectation customers won't look at their receipts and just pay blindly whatever total is given to them? Is this how this franchise is making money by intentionally over charging customers? In my case, it was a 43% up charge. I'm assuming many would notice that should they buy a combo meal. Ok, I think it is important to note that in all of my years as an independent consumer (meaning able to buy stuff by choice not by a parent etc.) I have not ever had a "GOOD" experience at any Wendy's restaraunt. Oh so sad:( I was quite disappointed with the disorder during the dinner hours here tonight. I was reading other reviews and didn't really believe it could be that bad. Lo and behold, it was so sad. My mother and I ordered two potatoes, a salad, and a burger. It took almost 20 minutes to get our food. No joke, and when I was called to come get it, it was 80% the wrong items. We ordered from UberEats and we realized that we put the wrong type of meat for 3 of the same burgers. Upon this realization, we gave them a call, hoping that they can quickly adjust the order accordingly. The lady seemed confused about the order being placed and was rude throughout the interaction. Did they not receive the notification that someone ordered from Ubereats? And, if they already made the food, did she immediately forget about what they just cooked? Avoid this spot if you can. Here at Wendy's, SOGGY BREAD is a delicacy. I intentionally order tomatoes on the side because I hate how they put them directly on the bun every single time. Tell me why these idiots still put tomatoes directly onto the bun and then also gave me tomatoes on the side. The fries were also stale, and they smelled like burnt oil. I don't understand why some people can't follow basic instructions but here at this Wendy's no one knows how. I sat in the drive-through for over 30 minutes which is fine and expected during lunch rush, However during this insane rush, the (wo)man working the cashier kept asking all kinds of obnoxious questions to everyone who went through the drive-through. I have gone to this Wendy's several times and the drive thru always has a really long line. I park and walk up to the doors and they have been locked. This has happened 3 times now. Why are the doors always locked and not opened? This is why the drive thru is always so long. Upper management needs to look into why the doors are always locked. The other day, I saw people sitting inside and eating but, the doors were locked. The customer who saw me try to go in made a motion to me that I couldn't come in. For whatever reason, this Wendy's needs to retool it's managers and employees and open the doors. There is no reason for the doors to be locked 100% of the time. The ONLY reason I come to this location is because the one on Northgate burned down and I like Wendy's. I am writing this review after waiting 20 mins in the drive thru with literally only two cars in front of us. Anytime i come to this location the drive thru is ridiculously slow which defeats the purpose of a drive thru. At any other fast food establishment they have you pull forward in order to keep the flow going but this place just cannot grasp that! With that said my food was cold as hell, fries were soggy and it was just a huge waste of money. On a seperate incident they kept my debit card, failed to give me a receipt then argued with me about it! I've stopped going to this location since an incident where they didnt return my card in the drive through. Because they did the payment/handout of drinks/food out of order, I didnt realize until the next day. Called to confirm that it was at this location, and went to pick it up later. When my card was returned to me, it appears someone tried to put a staple through my card right over the magnetic strip. So I drove back to pick up a credit card that no longer works. Management and all employees denied all responsibility and didnt offer any consolation-not even a sorry. When I called to ask if they had my card they took a few minutes to shuffle through all the cards that have been left behind. Supposedly they shred them at the end of each week, but how many cards do these employees not give back, honestly? Unacceptable. read more

I would give this a zero! I work next door and I need to get back because I was on a half. I waited 30 min and I was the 3rd car from the speaker. It shouldn't take more than that to just get to the speaker and I didn't even make it there until I had to leave. That's the longest I have ever waited but normally it takes about 15 min. A friend showed me how the Wendy's app had several great deals, so I downloaded the app and stopped at the one located on Watt Ave (right by I-80)... I had not been at this location in at least six years, and am very glad that I went. First of all, the employees put me in a great mood! Each and every employee had a smile on their face, and both the cashier, and the young man that gave me my food, were extremely polite and treated me with respect. I had ordered the 1/2 taco salad and a soda (the deal in the app was for a free 1/2 salad with a purchase of anything). I thought the salad was delicious... it came with salsa, sour cream, tortilla chips, and Wendy's chili, and was quite filling. I will definitely be visiting this location again soon! read more

The employees here have no customer service skills and don't know how to compensate for inconvenience. We came through the drive through Saturday night at about 7:00 pm. It was not busy at all, no other customers in the drive through. Our total was around $30 and we paid with card. Unfortunately we didn't notice a bill went through earlier in the day so we only paid $17! They told us we need to pay the rest of the total. We didn't have any money. We asked if we could just get a refund, our 2 year old daughter was in the backseat whining because she was hungry. Whoever was in charge that night told us "Sorry, we can't refund cards. You'll have to come back in the morning and talk to the GM." So you mean to tell me we're supposed to go home with no food and no money? Do you not see my crying child in the backseat? He did not try reasoning with us at all. We told him we don't even live in the area, our house is an hour away from this Wendy's. He just shrugged his shoulders. My husband asked to just get a cash refund then. He was told no, "my drawer would be short." We sat there and argued for a few minutes. We were trying to be as kind as possible and the employee was not. He had no empathy and looked at us like he just wanted us to leave. My husband finally told him that we aren't leaving with nothing, you took all the money in my bank account and I have to feed my family. Then the guy finally decided, "I can give you part of your meal." He gave us a random bag of food and we just drove off because we were upset and our baby was crying. He did not give us $17 worth of food. It was one 4 for 4 and a baconator. That sure fed my family of 4! Thanks! I know that meal was not worth $17. We also didn't even get a receipt. Any other establishment would've given us the rest of our meal for free if they we're unable to give us a refund. It was very obvious we weren't trying to scam them to get free food if that was their concern. When we were told our card only paid $17 my husband gasped and checked his bank account on his phone. He was extremely apologetic and honestly EMBARRASSED! Shame on your employees for making us feel the way they did and giving us a hard time for not wanting to go home hungry. He should of AT LEAST worked with us and helped us change our order so everyone in our family could eat if you couldn't give us the rest of the meal for free. (I know you can, I've worked at multiple fast food places. People give free food to their family and friends all the time. We ordered a sandwich with a special request anyways, no one would of ordered it. Either one of the employees probably ate it or they threw it out at the end of the night.) I have never been treated so poorly. I loved Wendy's I wish I could support this business but sadly, I no longer can. I hope whoever runs this place reads this and teaches their employees how to compensate customers for inconveniences like this. And not try to send a family home hungry with no food after taking the last dollar in their bank account. Pathetic. Also, I'd just like to add that it's disgusting for your employees with long hair to not have it up in a bun. I wouldn't be surprised if multiple customers have gotten long red hairs in their hair because the cashier wanted to look cute. This Wendy's sits just off the highway exit at Watt Avenue. If you are in desperate need of food, then this is an acceptable option. The restaurant is kept clean and the service is quick and efficient. The food is typical Wendy's....what more is there to say? When there isn't time for a sit down lunch and you need something on the go, then this is a good option. read more
