Let me start by saying that we had a similar experience with our 2015 Grand Cherokee but when I was dealing with the owners, they assured me that the problem had been addressed with the newer models. Fast forward to 2019 when I needed a new vehicle for my job, so I went ahead and leased a new 2019 Grand Cherokee High Altitude, (it's for sale right now on their website for over $24k-see stock number 19952P) and it had more issues than our 2015. NW Jeep performed all but three of the oil changes and recalls. A couple of times when it was in for a recall, they actually broke something else. Fast forward to this year, when the check engine light kept coming on, mind you at 64,442 miles. We took it in for them to diagnose the issue(s) with our Jeep that was only 4,442 miles out of warranty and they offered no goodwill, instructed us to contact Fiat NA for assistance who told us that we needed to deal with the dealer directly. Again, no goodwill etc, just an estimate for over $10k to REPLACE the long block. Feckless and unbelievable client service. We ended up selling it back to them for just under $6k and never looked back. If you're considering a new Jeep or RAM pickup, my advice is to run the other way to Ron Tonkin or Dicks in Hillsboro. Our family has purchased a few RAM pickups from both and have had nothing but excellent experiences. NW Jeep, RAM doesn't deserve your time, money or patience. I brought my car here for a recall and oil change, and was told to speak with an advisor named Chris, who was incredibly rude with me. I tried to ask some questions before he took my keys, and he kept claiming that I was trying to skip the process and that I was supposedly interrupting him. Kellie also did not communicate clearly that I definitely would not be able to get my car back on the same day, when making the appointment. I asked to speak with a manager, and was eventually transferred to another advisor named Jason, who was a lot more polite and patient with me. Our salesperson at the time was professional, respectful, personable, and genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable and informed. Because of that, we had a very positive impression of this dealership. Unfortunately, that changed when it came time to pick up our vehicle after a repair. The car is under my fiancé's name, and he had been the main point of contact with the service department. He mentioned to staff that I would be picking up the vehicle that day after work, and we were under the impression that it was perfectly fine for me to do so. The dealership closes at 7:00 PM, and I arrived around 6:30 PM. I completely understand that customers coming in close to closing time can be inconvenient -- but regardless of the hour, every customer deserves basic courtesy and professionalism. I was simply there to pick up a vehicle that was ready; this wasn't meant to be a lengthy process. When I parked and got out of the car with my sisters, a staff member approached us almost immediately. There was no greeting or warm welcome -- just a curt, "How can I help you?" in a clearly irritated tone, as if confused or bothered that we were there at all. I politely explained that I was there to pick up a car that had been repaired and that my fiancé had already spoken with staff. When he asked if we had spoken directly with the service center, I was honest that I wasn't entirely sure about the specifics of that conversation -- all I knew was that my fiancé had told me I was approved to pick up the vehicle even though it's under his name, and that it was ready for pickup. Instead of clarifying or helping, his response was dismissive and unnecessary: "Cool, cool, well that doesn't really answer my question, but I can go ahead and help you inside." RUN! They sold me a used jeep (ok I understand used things have lived a previous life), I drove 72 miles and it began to rain. I turned the wipers on and they made a noise, not a squeak like most wipers, an electrical noise (coming from inside the car) each time they moved. Then bad went to very bad and the engine light came on. Back to the dealer. Clearly I had been sold a heap of crap. Decieded to put the cost of the junk into something else and they wanted to charge me for the process all of the registration and licensing also offered no real concessions considering the sold me a lemon. Northwest Jeep's service department turned what should have been a straightforward warranty repair into a multi year mechanical disaster--then refused to take responsibility when their mistakes caused catastrophic damage. In 2020, they replaced the spider gears in my rear differential under warranty at only 43,000 miles. They documented using the required limited slip gear oil at that time. Two years later, during a routine 4x4 service, they reported "metallic haze and small metal flakes" in the differential-- and attributed this to an over torqued bolt from their own prior repair. They performed no corrective work, and this time failed to document using the required limited slip oil at all. When I questioned the contamination, they repeatedly dismissed it as "normal break in" and assured me there was no risk. Twenty days later, after I returned because I could hear noise from the rear end, they again claimed nothing was wrong. And again, they failed to document using the correct limited slip oil when refilling the differential. Fast forward to 2025: with only about 17,000 miles on the supposedly "repaired" gears, the rear differential catastrophically failed--destroying the ring and pinion, LSD, carrier, and axle housing. The vehicle was left completely inoperable. An independent shop found the cross pin had come loose, the retaining bolt was missing, and the fluid did not appear to be limited slip oil. Their conclusion was blunt: the failure was consistent with improper prior service. When I contacted Northwest Jeep's service manager, he initially acknowledged the abnormal nature of the failure and said they could help with reduced parts and labor costs--pending approval from ownership. That was the last meaningful communication I ever received. Over the next month, I left more than a dozen voicemails for multiple service managers and the general manager. Not one was returned. With my vehicle unusable and Northwest Jeep stonewalling me, I had no choice but to pay over $6,000 out of pocket for a full rear axle replacement elsewhere. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB attempted to contact Northwest Jeep several times. The dealership ignored them too. Northwest Chrysler Jeep Dodge's service department not only failed to perform proper repairs, they caused extensive damage, dismissed clear warning signs, used incorrect or undocumented fluids, and then ghosted both their customer and the BBB when held accountable. We leased a 2024 Dodge Hornet. Today, driving down the road, the center screen turned blue and then black. Since we were in the area, we stopped by Northwest Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge. Walked into the Service Department and was asked if we have an appointment. I said "no". Explained the situation with the center screen and Karl said he'd take a look at it. He came out to our Hornet and was able to force the display to reboot. It booted up and all is good. Karl was super kind, polite, and really wanted to help us and did. A huge thanks as without the screen, most options and menus are not available. Karl didn't charge me for fixing the screen and for his expertise. He really made my/our day. Buyer Beware! If you are buying a used car from this dealership, be ready for "add-ons" that they throw into the deal without you agreeing to include the add-ons. I almost purchased a vehicle from this dealership but couldn't get over the fact that they included two B.S. add-ons: SafeGaurd and Cilajet. Just read other reviews about these "add-ons" and how you likely do not need them. The salesman presented me the price that was listed in the add with these two additional items - each $900! I told him I wasn't interested in these and wanted to see the price without the add-ons. He said there was nothing he could do because the dealership "already installed these." (shrug shoulders). After leaving and doing more research and understanding that these are B.S. (and toe the line of complying with Oregon law) I pushed back. I called around numerous other car dealderships with a similar car and asked them all for "out the door" price sheet. Not one had this stupid add-ons. Eventually, the salesman said they could remove the SafeGaurd but couldn't do anything about the Cilajet because they already put it on the car (I still question if they actually did this). I brought my car in the end of July for a noise my car was making when the a/c was on. They said 1-3 days but it turned into 2 weeks. Picked up my car and there was multiple damage done to my car, inside and out. Brought it back and was without it for 2 more weeks. Picked it up and there was still damage that was not fixed and they had it for another 2 weeks. 6 weeks without my car and all I got was sorry we are over worked and under staffed. I'm wondering if NW Jeep understands the meaning of the word reservation? Yep today at 7AM. I was there and third in line. I just needed an oil change. With in 10 minutes after tagging my jeep with a number from Ed they pulled it into the shop. An hour later it pulls out and parks. A half hour later still no indication that it's ready. I walk into the drive in area where my paperwork and key has been sitting on Ed's desk, waiting. Just one minute please, is what I got. I waited, and waited, and waited. Three other people asked if I needed help and I said just waiting for the paperwork, and motioned to the key and paperwork. Still waiting for this guy to get to finishing the oil change paperwork. 10 minutes later he finally got to the paperwork and cashed out. I was at the NW Jeep for two hours for an oil change in which I had an appointment. And this is the second time this has happened to me at NW Jeep. What does appointment mean? I have tried being patient and understanding. I've tried letting the service department do what they can to fix the situation and make it right. But at what cost? I am going into two weeks of being stuck here this time around when I was only supposed to fly in and pick up the truck to take home. And yesterday was the straw after trying to be understanding of the situation and patient. I drove to Portland in my truck from a different state. The very truck I had bought from this very dealership. I brought the truck in for an oil change and tires. I was informed there were recall to be done which consisted of software updates. After I went to my friend's home, it had been raining since it is Portland and I discovered the infamous back cab leak. I took it back to them. And after endless calls to Ram Care (who doesn't care, by the way), they finally agreed to pay 80% to fix it. I still had to pay over $400 for the new carpet and the installation of the carpet and the sealing of the leak which shouldn't have considering it was an issue from the assembly line. I had to fly back home at this time. The carpet was replaced and the truck had not been moved since the carpet installed. Again, it was working, driving, turning on before when I drove here and before taking it into the dealer. I was told the truck was ready so I flew back to drive it back to drive it back home. Well, when I arrived, truck was completely dead. Shouldn't have been, but it was. I call the service department, they tell me to bring it in. I jump it and drive it over. They say it's the battery, I highly doubted it was. Without consulting with me, they put in a new battery. I say no, because I'm not paying over $300 for a battery when I can go get another of better cranking and quality elsewhere for the same price. They decide to leave it in with trying to make it "right". I drive back to my friends house. The next day the carpet repair guys come out and double check everything. They also put the truck on a scanner and sure enough, you can see the draining of the battery clearly showing a draw, but what do I know, not like I don't work in the electrical/mechanical and battery area, the very thing I said to them was most likely happening. They take the truck back saying they would fix it. Still nothing and they expect me to spend more money flying back home and then back for the truck. When I was on the phone with Ram, the service guy made the comment that I had been having the issue "for a while". Seriously? And before they had said that I was in a hurry and wanted to leave when they were trying to scan it which is not true. I was hanging out when I was told by the advisor that my truck was ready. Serious gaslighting and lying. They have had my truck in the service department now several times with this time being in there since last week. I was supposed to be home last Saturday. It's now Wednesday and they still have the truck and are giving me no way home. I missed out on paid tickets to a memorial event that honored my battle buddy, I'm missing out on simply being home and now my job is in jeopardy because I've been stuck out here in Oregon instead of being onsite since I came out here to pick up the truck after they told me it was ready. I've already paid over $600 in just flights. This is gut wrenching and I can assure you, I will never buy another Ram again, at least not from this place and I won't ever bring it back for service here either because clearly they damaged it when all it needed was an oil change and tires. Never again. They can't make it right. I told them to fly me home and ship the truck to me when it is really ready since I did my part in coming back for it when they said it was ready. Unreal. First, she places an exact looking vehicle in the test drive area. Same color, same trim level, most would not know the difference. The thing is that while most people wouldn't bother to say anything about the discrepancy. You screw yourself by not saying anything. See you agree to a price online for the e-sale deal. That auto has features and packages that you want, and you pay for those packages in the price of the car. If they switch out the Stock number for one that is kind of the same but not really the same, no one is the wiser. The stock number I wanted had 5 upgraded packages on it. The stock number they had waiting, only had 2. But they use the pricing I agreed to online. BAIT AND SWITCH with a twist. I think of a car dealer like I think of McDonalds. Your entire job on this earth is making burgers. That's it. Burgers, or in this case selling cars. You sell cars, buy cars, then resell cars. Shouldn't you know how to do the ONE THING your business does? If you can't do that right, and even I noticed it, 5 seconds after stepping out of my car. Why didn't you, THE CAR DEALER, notice it and make a change prior to a customer becoming aware. Imagine if I had left the paperwork, the loan, the trade values, to them. I'd need an ambulance. Sam moves on to my 2020 BMW X4M with 16k miles and all it's BEAUTY. I pull out the value sheet that THEIR SITE REQUIRES to value your trade, along with an appraisal I had done from NADA (National Auto Dealers Assc.). Both are pretty dang close in $ valued. Sam is not happy, almost offended at the amount. Immediately dismisses both NADA and their own required value process and says she'll value it. That's it, you are not running this sale. I the customer am in charge of the purchases I make. I used YOUR VALUE, only to be dismissed and told its worthless in its value. Yet the value step is mandatory. Sam, your lies... I cant take your B.S. anymore. I'm gone. 20 minutes into the drive home my phone goes crazy . A sales manager calling to save a deal. Sir, YOUR DESPERATE NEED to sell a car, is not my issue. You hired these folks, and they learned to scam customers through you. Your worse than they are, you broke the system, now fix it. It just wont be my $70,000.00 you do it with. DONT SHOP THIS STORE. I've had my SUV for a few weeks now and have been loving it! I've had no issues. The pricing was well worth the value of what I got. The manager Carsen and Schaab provided the kiddo cookies to keep them entertained and they were loving it! Carsen and Schaab made me feel like I was part of the family while there and provided resources if I ever needed future assistance. Everyone at this store location, NW Jeep, were very sweet to us and made the experience of purchasing a new vehicle enjoyable. I ordered a new challenger through this dealership in early March and took delivery of it mid-June. I am a very seasoned and knowledgeable buyer so I know what is and isn't a good deal. The price I got with very little negotiation was pretty good. There was a few $hundred still on the table but I wasn't going to shop all over kingdom come to save another hundred bucks. The trade-in allowance wasn't so great but it was an old car (but still in good condition). I was happy to get rid of it and wouldn't feel right selling it to a private party so it was all good. The delivery went fine. Minimum stress at signing although I was very clear from the jump that any shenanigans from the finance guy and I'd immediately walk. And of course I totally love my new challenger as I was sure I would. So why only one star? I see that a gazillion yelpers before me have written chapter and verse on the problems they've had with this dealership and based on my experience there I am quite confident they were not exaggerating. I don't know that I have ever been in a business where the employees were more sullen, unfriendly (to the point of being openly hostile) and totally unwilling to do even the basics of their jobs. The guy I bought from was the only non-zombie I encountered at the place and I got the very strong vibe from him that the dealership was a totally toxic work environment. Perhaps it's under new management or ownership? Turns out, his attitude was not my imagination as he left a few weeks later after being employed there for 7 years. The parts manager is..... there's just no kind way to say this: a total jerk. For reasons only he understand he took it upon himself to come on the sales floor and get in my face. Possibly just venting his frustration about working there on the nearest customer/victim. Luckily, with Amazon selling pretty much everything, the chances I will ever have to deal with their parts department is likely zero. The service manager is another story entirely. He was hired the day before I showed up to buy and he was so frigging rude, hostile and obnoxious that I had a bet with the now departed sales guy that the service manager would not still be employed there by the time my car showed up. The fact that he still is indeed employed there ought to tell you volumes about this dealership and it's [non] commitment to customer satisfaction. Under no circumstances would I ever bring my car to this dealership's service department! My requests for some simple and basic service info and pricing still have not been answered. Once I signed the purchase order last March I became persona non grata at the dealership. They were not willing to provide any updates on my car's build progress or to respond to any of my questions or issues. I was treated so badly during the 3 month wait that I felt forced to buck the issue to the GM. To his credit, the GM put the sales manager on the case so the delivery and paperwork signing went very smoothly. But I suspect that had I not created a ruckus, things would have gone much differently. I guess the payoff for me was at the end of the delivery process. The new (to me) sales guy who was only briefly and superficially involved in this process put a LOT of pressure on me to give the dealership unrealistically glowing reviews in the survey that I would be getting. Guilt tripped me by saying than my review would effect him directly and would cost him $$$ if it wasn't a glowing 10 out of 10 stars review. I have not filed the survey yet but as you can probably guess it won't be saying what they want it to say. However, it will be 100% fair and accurate as is this review. I did give the dealership another week plus to address a couple of lingering issues and questions I had before writing this yelp review. Of course they have chosen not to do so. Had the dealership put as much energy into my satisfaction as they did trying to coerce a 10 star review out of me, the outcome for them might have been much better. As it is, the likelihood of me ever returning is grim. So unless you are willing to endure a lot of pain, be treated disrespectfully and put up with the same sorts of nonsense that the other yelpers here have complained about, this is a dealership that's probably best avoided. To be overly fair, I did give this dealership ample opportunity to change my mind about posting this fairly caustic review. They weren't interested.... which ought to tell the intelligent yelper everything they need to know about this place. read more

Both my roommates came here to buy jeep renegades. First roommate had a hard financial situation and Brian from the financial dept helped her out immensely with getting the best loan he could find for her, and she worked with OC in sales, he was fantastic. We were there for a long time waiting for all the paper work and finance things to come through, but in the end she got her jeep. My other roommate got the same car in a different color and worked with another salesmen. They both come to the service department here and are never disappointed. There's a woman who works at the desk in the service department that we talk to whenever we come for oil changes and she's really cool and friendly, and explains things in plain terms for us. read more

You can't make an appointment online they will not call you back. They will not let you know when your vehicle is ready and half the time you can walk in there and then just stare at you. Had to leave this review just because so many of the reviews actually had me scarred to leave my car here. Left my 2019 jeep wrangler to get serviced this past Wednesday. Had no idea had long it would take to be seen but was told I could get a diagnosis in 1-3 days. Diagnosis came the next morning via text with explanation & cost of services. Agreed on three services to take care of, no back & forth, just straight up this is what it is, this is how much it cost, do you want us to handle it. They actually reached out to Warranty company I have and told them the issues (I had no idea what was covered) they talked to them and one of my services was covered. I asked how long would it take, they said it would be done the next day & it was. Car sounds & feels better now. Vehicle was left with them from 7 am Wednesday to noon friday. Angel was an amazing point of contact, Austin was a good dude to jump in & help things get finished, kimber was another good point of contact. Only negative was being confused about why setting up appointments if diagnosis still takes 1-3 days, used to setting an appointment and car is checked that day. Regardless service dept. was very friendly, very professional, & efficient. read more

I recommend this dealership for anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. For those in WA, the drive was worth it. Do your research; the dealer met/beat the sale price of a similar vehicle at another dealer. They also honored their initial quote, and there were no major surprises when it was time to sign the paperwork. Eric, the sales manager, was honest, didn't play games, and helped me feel comfortable with the deal. Jaime, the sales representative, was professional, eager to assist, and went above and beyond preparing the vehicle for me. Mickey, the finance manager, was knowledgeable and didn't push me to buy things I didn't need. One of the most surprising aspects of my visit was their respect for me and my time. At no point in the process did I wait more than 10 minutes for anyone. There was zero back-and-forth between the sales representative and manager while they played games, pretending to give me the best deal (like so many dealers do). I would suggest not taking your car to this dealership for service. There was a recall for the catalytic converter, so I asked the Service Advisor if they had the part in stock and he said yes. I made the appointment to bring my car in on a Tuesday and he said it should be ready by Friday but it's a "big job" so you would have to rent a car. No big deal I said to myself. Friday comes around and it hasn't been done yet. "I'll have it for you Monday" he says. "I will have my best mechanic on it". On Monday I got a text saying they did not have the bolts and would have to order them, they are on back order. It cost me over $400.00 for a rental and that was with a discount. Very horrible experience, I would not recommend this place for serious buyers. Poor experience over the phone and in person onsite at the dealership. I called this spot a few days ago inquiring about a Jeep I was interested in on their website. After a brief discussion, the salesman mentioned he had to help a customer quickly and would call back in 15 minutes. I never heard back, but decided to go in during the weekend a few days later. Being interested in a specific vehicle, I called in here, mentioned the car I wanted, mentioned I'd like to come in same day for a test drive and provided the stock number of the car. They confirmed it was available and I was told over the phone they would "park it out front and have it ready". After driving an hour across town and arriving, I walked around the lot twice and could not find the car. It took forever for someone to come and help, and I saw salesmen inside sitting around at their desks. Finally someone came out and he told me it was at their stock lot 10 min away - the conversation from him was "it's at another lot, do you want me to get it, or would you like to come back tomorrow?" After I told him I'd like him to get it, he asked what I liked about it and if there's anything else I'd be interested in. It was an hour and a half prior to closing so I don't understand why he was being so reluctant. Shortly after, he drove off the lot - I assumed he went to get it. After waiting half an hour, I went in and asked a manager what was going on. He mentioned someone went to grab it and it should be 15 min away round trip (I waited way past that). I mentioned I called a few hours ago, and his response was that they were slammed - despite the fact that I saw most people sitting around inside. After waiting around the lot for 30 min the guy never came back. We left. I came here ready and excited to check out a vehicle, but ended up leaving and wasting my day driving here. I did not get to see the vehicle listed on their website, despite the fact that I called in about it and scheduled a drive test. Their staff and management are lazy, unhelpful, and I would advise not wasting your time here as well. read more

This place charged me over $2,000 to replace the oil pump and oil cooler in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. When the Check Engine Light still didn't go out, they threw up their hands and offered to purchase it from me. Funny thing is, when I came in the first time I told them it was the PCM (computer). They never bothered to check because the code was for oil pump. They never bothered to consider the PCM could be failing and throwing bad codes. I went home, hooked up a mechanical oil pressure gauge and ... low and behold ... plenty of oil pressure. As a matter of fact, the pressure was within the specifications. I ordered a new PCM and swapped out the old one. Just like that, no check engine light. NW Jeep will never have my business again. Rip-off artists who prey on people who they think do not know what is going on with their vehicles. If I could take stars away from them, I would. read more

ATTENTiON BUYERS I went to this dealership and wanted to buy a simple Jeep car and the sales person pushed me with something different which had 51 miles on it and it was a hybrid Jeep. He said this is the top and the best and will keep value. I bought it that day and next day the engine light turned on. I came back to the shop and they said it is nothing we will vorrrct that. I came home and the next day the engine light came back on. I knew there is something serious with this car and they said we will diagnose and see what it is they kept my car and sacalked me that your car is ready I picked up the car and the same problem repeated. I was very frustrated. I went to the sale associate and they kept yelling at me and there was a very bad attitude man his name was DAVID he said get the hell out of here and go do any thing you want. Once I called the dealership and he rudely talked to me and and hanged up. These people are the bad people. They never stand behind their product they sell I wanted to talk to the owner and they all were saying the owner is on a meeting. Finally I went to the service department Surprisingly every one in the service department are extremely nice. If any want need me to release infos in regards all the services I had after I bought my new car I will release. We got an amazing deal on a new 2023 that had been used as a service loaner but was in perfect condition and had only 500 miles on it. We decided to purchase a new Pacifica plug in Hybrid, we worked with Mike and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The tax credit paperwork is a challenge and Mike and the team at NW Jeep stuck with it and even drove out to our home in West Linn to bring us updated paperwork we would need to file for the credit. Really wonderful service across the board. I've been coming to this dealership since 2016 with my Charger. I recently traded it in for a used 2019 Jeep I saw at the dealership during a regular service. A multipoint inspection was performed at the time of purchase. I had noticed that the cap for the rear wiper arm was missing- they ordered a replacement for me no problem! I was pretty stoked on my experience at the time. About two weeks or so later I noticed that the coolant level was super low- but they had just done an inspection and fluid replacement... So I thought there may be a leak. I brought it in for a warranty check where they performed another multipoint inspection specifically looking for something wrong in the engine bay. They found nothing wrong, so I went about my merry way with the impression that I was good to go. I've never owned an SUV prior to this, so I assumed that the squeaking and quality of the rear windshield wiper was typical. I don't use it often, so no big deal. Fast forward to today when I take my car elsewhere for an oil change. Not only did they let me know that the rear wiper is totally broken and in need of complete replacement, but the drain plug for my oil was so loose that my car has been leaking small amounts of engine oil for months. He didn't even need to use tools to remove the components under the vehicle. He asked me where I went last... and I told him NW Jeep. My salesperson was very kind and helpful, but the fact that they missed key components two times is unforgivable. After 6 years of using NW Jeep, I believe I'll be heading to a different dealership for my future needs. TL;DR- Bought car from NW Jeep, had been 'fully inspected' two times. They missed an oil leak due to loose drain plug/ other components (that they didn't tighten after their full fluid replacement), and a completely broken rear windshield wiper. Thanks NW Jeep for ignoring these issues and letting me drive away with an oil leak and a bum rear wiper. TWICE. read more
