I must say Darin is like the "Floyd Mayweather" of wheel alignment and setting the steering wheel straight. Recently I purchased a 2011 CPO e92 335i from Bev Hills BMW and during the test drive I notice the steering wheel was 5 degree crooked to the right while flawlessly driving straight, I didn't think it was a prob and had BMW re-align it for me. After the alignment the results were still the same and it drove me nuts....like losing sleep nuts as I have BMW enthusiastic ocd lol. I search through every mountains, forums and BMW sites and narrowed down to two high end performance alignments shop and based on further research and asking around I decided that Darin was going to be the one person that will put my misery away once and for all. The appointment was impossible to set and I understand why because all the GREATS are always taken and chumps are usually not booked. I finally locked my apt in for FRI 330pm and was able to bring it in. Westend did their thing and after my test drive I said okay it's done. After 2 days I notice it was slightly off since I was not super familiar with the road around there and brought it back, Darin said let me drive and after he drove and made one more minor adjustment....the steering wheel is now perfectly straight staring directly to my hindu dot (I am not Indian). They don't make mechanics like this anymore and his pet peeve is crooked steering wheel. I am glad I was able to use West End and the price was fair....but this had nothing to do with price but perfecting my damn steering wheel. It drove me NUTS but now I am actually enjoying my ride and Thank you again West End for solving my heart condition! Highly Recommended and will use again. read more

Wanted to make sure that the alignment of my daily driver was sorted out so that my new tires can last as long as possible. Almost everyone in the LA area recommended West End to make that happen. The guys were able to fit me in the next day for an appointment! The shop is tucked away in a cluster of industrial garages, but it's hard to miss with the client's cool cars parked outside. The time I was there, a E30 M3 and 911 964 were parked outside. After handing over the keys, Darin took the time to understand the cars purpose, any particular things (i.e I had negative camber wear on all four corners) and my driving style to tailor the alignment to best fit my needs. The turn around time was about an hour. Darin went over the state of my car's suspension, what was changed and what he would recommend moving forward. Amazing service. Great turn around times. I took my 1970 Porsche 914 to Darin for a 4 wheel alignment. I had just changed all the bushings, tie rods, ball joints, springs, shocks, etc. and my alignment was just "eyeballed" by me. I needed a full alignment to specs for canyon carving and a little track time. Darin took the time to fully query me on exactly how I was going to use the car and then explained the whole process. It's near the north east corner of 182nd street and vermont ave. It's between artesia and 190th streets, if driving north/south. Anyways, just can't thank both Darin and Chris for doing suspension mod installs on my 2019 Audi RS5 then doing a suspension set up for fun street driving and full alignment. I like how they ask you all these questions on how you drive, where, track, street, canyon, to dial in the settings for your type of driving. They consider how, and how much you drive and will tone down the settings to save your tires from excessive negative camber (inner tire wear) if you're not looking to track the car or drive too aggressively. You will get a sheet that shows the weight distribution on all 4 corners of your car as well, really great. You can tell both have so much experience working on cars and are so helpful and humble. You can just trust that they will do the job right! They worked on my car till they both thought it was perfect, and it really was. Really happy with the flatter ride characteristics and stance. Overall, if you have a sports car, or fixed up car or truck and want to get the most performance out of it, do yourself a favor and bring it here to West End Alignment. I called to see about getting an alignment for my 2013 Subaru BRZ. The car was pulling to the left. I called to see about making an appointment and the person I talked to on the phone suggested that I first swap the front tires, side to side, and see if what happens. I did and the car started pulling the other direction. He told me that I have a tire defect and probably don't need an alignment. So while, I didn't get an alignment from them. They did blindly take my money. They actively wanted to make sure that the problem was properly diagnosed. Most other shops would have simply taken my money. It's so nice to find honest shops! Thank you Darin & Chris! Great guys and excellent work. They take the time to ask what you are looking for in an alignment and will dial it in accordingly. A day after replacing shocks/struts and springs, I paid West End a visit (be sure to book them in advance; they are in high demand!) There was a noticeable improvement in handling characteristics and steering feel before and after the alignment. The steering feel is slightly lighter, but there is better feel for rear grip (RWD car), which is confidence inspiring. Steering feel is direct and handling is more stable and predictable. Power is being put down more efficiently. By far the best alignment and one you can experience. Highly recommend and will be back!! read more

Been lagging to write a review, but this place does amazing work! On Thursday 4/20 I installed some suspension parts for my 2013 Mustang GT. Coming to Saturday I was stoked to see how the car would handle and I was blown away by how amazing the car handles. Once I arrived I was kindly greeted by the owner and the son. As per our appointment they immediately got started on my car. Darren, the father, was the one who worked on my car. He spent over an hour (1 hour and 15 minutes) to be exact to align my car with only 6,000 miles on it. Darren did an excellent job and really took his time with my car which is what I appreciate. I took a chance and made the long drive (from the IE) and I did not regret. Darin is very professional and takes his time very seriously by scheduling appointments. If I ever need an alignment for any of my cars, I'll be sure to go here every time. I just have to remember to call a week or so ahead. They are very busy. Also,, CASH OR CHECK only.
