I went for a friend's birthday here and we decided to try this place as it was right by the hotel. Right on arrival, you could smell the food and it was so mesmerizing. We got to a table and was offered bread which was very good of course. The steak was so tender and the mac and cheese was so cheesy. my friend and I sat in silence nodding our heads and devouring this food lol. 10/10 recommend!

I've been coming here a few times a year with my friends for the last 7 years and each time we are never disappointed. The staff is amazing and friendly, the food is delicious. Always gotta get the ribeye with a side of mash and mushrooms.

This wasn't as bad as Fox News playing on the tv. I'm certain a man like Huckabee would allow the channel to be changed.

If you're looking for a great steakhouse, keep looking--this is not the place. The food is terrible, poorly cooked, and absolutely not worth the price. The service? Just as bad--slow, inattentive, and indifferent. But the real kicker is the owner, who seems to thrive on personal attacks rather than addressing legitimate concerns. Instead of hospitality, you get hostility. (Read his replies) Save yourself the disappointment--there are plenty of better steakhouses that actually care about quality and customer experience. The ambiance is the worst part, unless you like propaganda with your steak!

What an amazing place. Our server was very attentive and polite. This is a charming little place with a great vibe. Definitely a good date night spot. (My dinner date was my daughter) We both had filet. Cooked perfectly. Quality is everything. The mules were great too. I had the baked potato. She had steak fries. We also had asparagus (best I've had) and broccoli. I definitely recommend Thai spot

So there is a caveat here. This is probably not the best steakhouse in NYC. However i had a 5 star experience here. And a pretty good steak. Came on a Saturday night. It was busy. But not crazy. Super friendly service. Had an espresso martini. Delicious. Slab bacon and tomato and onion. Bacon was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Braised pork shank with risotto. Not my go to. But it was very tasty. My friend got the Ny strip steak. Which was cooked properly. Could have used some finishing salt. But it was also pretty good. $200 with tip. And that was three martinis. Like i said. They were good. Good value for what you are getting. Recommended!

All I can say is wow! What a gem came on a Wednesday with some friends, and it was great from the food/drinks to the service. Our server, Nicholas, was wonderful, very kind, and professional. We ordered our drinks (aperol spritz, cosmopolitan, Russian mule, and negroni. We started with the shishito peppers, caesar salad, and a spinach salad with a bacon vinegarette. We shared a porterhouse (medium), mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, asparagus, and mushrooms. Everything was delightful . Serving size with all of us was perfect for 4 people. We wrapped up with the pecan pie (outstanding), key lime pie, chocolate martini, and frangelico. The decor was ok, I was a bit surprised based on the location. It was small and intimate, and I enjoyed that.

I visited on Christmas Eve, and must say this place was ran like well oiled machine. From start to finish, the service was incredible and the food came out in a very timely manner. The New York strip was exceptionally great, and honestly a very good price for NYC. We also got the sautéed onions and macaroni and cheese which were both great compliments to the main entree. The decor was very festive and made the experience even better. Despite it being busy, our waiter was very attentive and the staff really knocked it out of the park. The cocktails were also another highlight. If you're looking to get a steak in the Hell's Kitchen, this is certainly the place to do so!

Food was lovely and reasonably priced - service was great too. Unfortunately we had to leave early as my partner wasn't well but they kindly wrapped the steak up for us

I was looking for a nice place for a birthday dinner and found this place. Ambiance was great, the lamb appetizer was amazing, the felt mignon was really good! And the mushroom risotto was incredible. My seat however was right in the path of the ventilation and was blowing on me the entire time. It wasn't a concern for me, but it did cause the food to cool quicker than I would have liked

The energy in the restaurant was a lot more vibrant than I expected, and honestly, the excitement from everyone around us added to the overall experience. To drink, I ordered the Caribbean Mule. It was refreshing, flavorful, and definitely packed a little punch. A solid cocktail that got the night started right. For food, we ordered the beef fried rice and chicken wontons. The beef fried rice was delicious and came in a generous portion size, making it easy to share. The chicken wontons were also well prepared and packed with flavor. The standout dish for me, though, was the ginger beef noodles. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the beef was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Easily my favorite item of the night and something I'd order again without hesitation. Service was another bright spot. The staff was attentive throughout the evening, and our servers were always quick to help whenever we needed anything. Even with the restaurant being busy, they stayed on top of everything. The one disappointment was the truffle fries. I've had better truffle fries at small neighborhood spots. They lacked both the flavor and presentation I'd expect from a restaurant at this price point, especially compared to how strong the rest of the meal was. Overall: Brooklyn Chop House delivered a fun atmosphere, great service, and some standout dishes. Between the energy of the crowd, the ginger beef noodles, and the attentive staff, it was a memorable experience. Just skip the truffle fries and put that money toward another appetizer or cocktail.

When you walk in, there is a large bar on the left with both bar and lounge seating. Toward the back, there are additional tables, along with an open upper level that has more seating. We sat at the bar in corner seats by the window. There are probably about ten to twelve seats at the bar, and the large bar seats were quite comfortable. We made it in time for happy hour (Monday through Friday, 4:00 to 7:00 PM) and ordered espresso martinis ($10 each) along with one of the happy hour bar bites, the $10 wings. We were heading to a show starting in about 30 minutes, and our server kindly expedited the wings. The drinks were made promptly as well. The espresso martinis were great, and the wings were tasty. This is a strong option for a pre-theater drink in the area, especially if you can take advantage of happy hour.

He helped us make the right selection of steak, and appetizer. We were seated with a nice view of the outside promenade. At first glance the dining room didn't seem large but on the trip to the restroom I learned that they can accommodate large groups and have private rooms as well. Restroom was clean and equipped. We ordered the crab cake, 12 oz. filet mignon and lamb chops, and the lemon cake. The crab cake was chocked full of delicious crab meat, not a lot of breading. The steak was flavorful and arrived hot. The double-bone lamb chop entree was enormous, and delicious. It was accompanied by parsnip puree and a mint-pistachio chimichurri, scrumptious!! For my pre-birthday dessert I chose the lemon cake and was delighted to see Gerard had also brought [ME ;) ] us the strawberry Hibiscus cheesecake and I was so happy he did!!! The fried calamari was some of the best I've had tho it was observed with a little bit of cocktail sauce and a huge thing of tartar sauce. I'm sure I could have gotten more cocktail sauce, since I don't like tartar sauce, but it wasn't necessary. The calamari was so good. The lobster bisque was delicious and the picture can't show you that it was full of lobster. There was a LOT more lobster than a lobster bisque normally contains and the price was about normal for a lobster bisque with one tiny piece of lobster. The iced tea was a bit out of control. If I'm going to be charged $5 per glass of iced tea, that glass should be larger than the ones they use AND not 90% ice. That much for a glass of ice with a splash of iced tea is extreme.
