Filet

Ambience was good, side room next to bar a little small and the noise carries greatly, I wish they had some type of sound walls, so it wasn't too intimate for conversations and it was a bit darker inside if you are a person that needs some light. Onion soup was delicious and one of the best out there. The filet flavor was 4 out of 5. Next time I'd think I'd go for this fish or halibut. Didn't try the desserts but next time it's on my list.

I've been somewhat hesitant to review this place because I don't want it to become more crowded. It is by far my favorite restaurant in the Chesterfield to Lake St Louis area of the metro. It is consistently one of the best meals in the metro area. I've been here many times and they remembered me from my second visit on. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, professional staff. The dining room is small with the bar on the left but it usually isn't difficult to be seated quickly. I rarely eat anything off the menu because they have so many specials every time I'm there based upon what is in season. If you like fresh, thoughtfully prepared fish, it's the best place I know in the city. I'm also a huge fan of the Brussel sprouts.

Complimentary cibatta and herbed butter

Had the pleasure of dining at Westchester. My server was Sam and she rocked it out and I was impressed as she delivered the specials as if she had been studying them for weeks. But beyond that, she was such a joy to speak with and clearly shows shes passionate about being there. First, I ordered an amaretto sour and it was one of the best I've had. Sour mixed with orange and layered with egg white made it pleasing on the palate. You are offered fresh bread and herbed butter and the night's offering was housemade cibiatta. The bread was warm, had an excellent chew and a hint of sweetness which the whipped butter complimented well. I ordered the carrots and filet mignon with gorgonzola butter and shaved truffle. The carrots were dynamite. Fire roasted, drizzled with honey that had a nice kick with goat cheese and bread crumbles. The filet, however, was the show stopper. It was tender, well seasoned, and melted in your mouth. The potatoes were rich and creamy, and cognac peppercorn added enough without being overpowering. This is a lovely little gem in Chesterfield and highly encourage to check it out.

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Although the restaurant is relatively small, it is tastefully decorated and offers a pleasant dining atmosphere.

Seafood!

Best food in Chesterfield! Bartenders Bryan & James are amazing and very creative. Food is so good, remember to call for reservations or hit the bar up after 8pm.

Pork Chop of my dreams

I don't know where to start. To begin, when we arrived the chef was greeting people at the door and seating them. Because this was my first time there I have no idea if this is regular practice, but it was a nice touch! The restaurant is small and VERY ambient, so this made the evening feel personal. We ordered cocktails and a lot of appetizers - all of which I forgot to take a photo of because they were gobbled so quickly. We had the wings - unbelievable flavor and unlike any wing I've had. The calamari - FULL of flavor, with a great aoli. The brussel sprouts - I'd like to just eat a plate of those for dinner. Amazing. And you get bread at your table with butter they make on site. Incredible. Now let's get to the stars - the entrees. I have NEVER in my life ordered a pork chop. It's just not my thing. But...I saw a picture of it on their Instagram and took a chance. When I say it was absolutely incredible - that's an understatement. On a bed of sweet potato purée whose sweetness complemented the crispy char of the pork chop - 10/10. Everyone else also raved about their food - we had another chop, a filet, and the duck. 10/10 experience. A must go.

Deconstructed carrot cake.

The executive chef checked me in for my solo dinner reservation. He was so welcoming. This was my fourth dinner at Westchester and it never disappoints. I found the most amazing pork chop in St. Louis! The venue is intimate so I don't feel isolated in a huge space. The martini is a generous pour. It was my 75th birthday dinner for myself. Thanks for making an amazing memory.

This restaurant was so amazing in many ways! The decor is so cute and it is fairly spacious inside so you don't feel like you are cramped. We had an amazing server, Brandi, who was super interactive and gave us great suggestions. Every plate was presented meticulously and was as delicious as it looked. The desserts are not to be missed! The carrot cake and creme brûlée were delicious - I would go back just for the dessert!

The service was excellent The server came around often and refilled water and wine glasses The specials sounded amazing but the BEEF was out of our price range. We will return and try it again

Shrimp, Scallops, Crab... n Grits!

Go there and get it all! 2025, starting off with a bang! This whole experience was amazing. Entering the space, instantly felt warm and inviting. It's not a huge space and they do a great job invoking the spirit of a New York vibe. I forgot I was in StL for a moment. Glass of Reisling, Dr. Loosen, to kick off and this is very well balanced without an aftertaste. A shot of Clase Azul Reposado just to see what the hype was about... yes, it's very smooth! Crab Fries and Wings for the starter, both of them amazing. The Fries are tossed in what seems to be a crab butter because the crab flavor hits throughout. The crab on top is ample and juicy. The wings are smoked and fried, served with the sauces on the side, it's the perfect bite. I can definitely vision future happy hours with these 2. One of the dinner specials this evening was the Shrimp, Crab, Scallops n Grits.. an enhanced Shrimp n Grits. I had to get it and it was the right play. The grits were creamy and smooth without it being too much on the plate. Ample seafood, enough for the full dish. All the flavors were on point. Made it to dessert... barely. 5 Layer Chocolate Cake, it's rich and decadent. Added ice cream on the side which evened out the richness. This is definitely a place for an elevated meal and service. All the staff were friendly and enjoyable to be around. Cheers!

Roasted Carrots with Chili Honey and Pistachio

Outstanding food, atmosphere, and service. We ate there last night and was blown away. I have gluten and dairy allergies, they were able to accommodate. Dedicated fryer for the best lobster bites I ever had. Also, had the beet salad, and the pork chop entree. Met chef and owner, just great people who have a passion for food. If you are a fan of rock and roll, the owner has a great private room with an amazing sound system and vintage vinyl. Thanks for the tour, we will be back!

You'd hardly know that it exists. It's weirdly anonymous in both its physical presence and its overall branding. You could drive by it for years and not know that it's there. I work nearby, and I was invited to tag along with a group of people from my job. I hardly know any of them, and we don't really work together. They may not have been able to put together a group of eight without inviting me. Hardly anyone actually shows up for work. I was more than happy to take advantage of the opportunity, and I got a chance to try a little bit of everything. Several appetizers were ordered, and people were putting on a front like they don't eat constantly, which, let's be honest, they'd have to. That just meant more for me. The deep fried deviled eggs were a revelation and obviously not anything I'd so much as imagine, let alone order. They're literally deviled eggs that have been breaded and deep fried and then served on a bed of deviled-egg filling, with bacon and raw jalapeno slices as garnish. They're brilliant, in a Billy Tuttle sort of way. If anyone knew who that was, they could probably license his name and likeness and do more business than have been. It's that kind of restaurant. Everything is unnecessarily large, like at the Cheesecake Factory. An appetizer called Duck Wings is apparently just that. Who even knew that ducks had wings? They're like weirdly large chicken wings, but not as good, but... uh, still pretty good. The pretzel sticks and the mozzarella sticks were just whatever. The mozzarella sticks are roughly the size of, uh, we're not gonna go there. But you don't get as many of them. Depending on the size of your party, you might have to split them in two. Same goes with the pretzels. If they were to give you more and just charge more than they're already charging, someone would probably assault the waitress on GP. This place carries a Farmhouse Burger, like the aforementioned Cheesecake Factory, so I was obligated to get one, morally, and for the sake of citizen food journalism. It's like a regular burger, but with bacon and an egg on it. It's not any of that smash burger BS. A smash burger is cool because it has crisp edges, but here's a little secret: you can also cook a much larger burger until it's crisp. And if it's thick enough (no Diddy), it might still be a little bit rare on the inside. Bonus! This burger was honestly much better than it had any right to be, given the overall vibe of this establishment, which seemed kinda dirty and run down. It reminded me of the burgers I used get at Culpeppers back before most attractive girls these days were even born. If they offered one with a compound cream cheese on it (just nod along like you have any what I'm talking about), I might have cried in front of my coworkers, and then I would have had to quit. Overall, I was both surprised and delighted by this place. I can't tell you that I'd be back, even if someone else was paying, but my one visit wasn't half bad.

Customer service was great. They checked on us and kept the drinks full. She made sure we had everything we needed. The food was pretty good. We had a huge pretzel for an appetizer and some spicy Thai chicken wings. The pretzel was great. I wish I had cheese to dip the pretzel in. It did have a mustard horseradish dipping sauce. The spicy Thai wings were great. I had the chimichuri steak sandwich. It was good but not what I expected. I expected a steak sandwich with chinimlchuri . But it was thinly slices steak like a Philly Cheesesteak. It was missing that beefy flavor. The bread was soft. Then when the chimichuri hit your tongue it made the sandwich so much better. The Alice Cooper Carolina reaper burger is no joke and is spicy but also has a great flavor. My absolute favorite wings are the sweet and spicy Asian wings and I also like their nachos because they're tortilla chips are nice and thin. The strawberry filled salad is very good also but at $17 it's a tough sell. Service is always friendly and attentive and I've never had to wait for a table here. Stevie was my server that night and she provided friendly top notch service. I ordered a spicy margarita for my cocktail. I was a little disappointed with the drink. It was very cucumber forward, had a nice heat, but lacked that signature lime flavor and tartness required of a good margarita. The brussel sprouts and cheese grits were a must try for me. The pork chop was the perfect entree to accompany these sides. The brussel sprouts were charred and crispy. The balsamic glaze paired nicely with the charred flavor. The pork chop is served in a very generous portion juicy and tender. The citrus sauce paired nicely with the pork. The cheese grits were creamy and delicious. All in all a delightful meal. The portions were generous enough for me to have hearty meal of leftovers the next day. The menu is fairly concise with burgers, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, beer/pork/chicken entrees, and salads. They have something for just about everyone. The appetizer menu offers loaded brussel sprouts with bacon balsamic and feta. This would have been too much to tackle by myself. I plan on bringing my friends next time to share this dish.

Bar service was great, table service was lacking. We started with a few drinks (margaritas) and they were quite good. For an app, we got the wings with firefly sauce, the sauce was really good and the wings were cooked perfect. For dinner, we had the filet mignon with potatoes and green beans as well as the creamy Cajun pasta. The filet was overcooked, but had really good flavor, the green beans with bacon were lackluster. The Cajun pasta was quite tasty, but it really lacked protein (only a few slices of a sausage and a few shrimp). We had the salted caramel bread pudding for dessert, it was good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. Overall, the experience was okay, food was good enough.
