Getting better and better! The former owners where terrific. Great people, good food. But this new version of the place has been getting better and better! I've experienced restaurants decline before, but I've never seen one improve so much and so fast. This place is ridiculous. I ordered noodles with chicken only and they added shrimp (2 separate entrees of noodles) and normally I wouldn't make it a fuss but my boyfriend is allergic to shrimp! I called back and they said they'd deliver another order which is fine. When they came back to deliver the new order they demanded the other order!!!! Of course I gave it back but can someone please tell me what they're going to do with that?!?! I hope they don't give it to someone else because that's disgusting, makes me think maybe my food is someone else's messed up order. DISGUSTING! read more

Orders are REALLY big portions. My boyfriend and I usually order a large combo chowmein and a side of large meat which comes with rice. Very filling with a lot of flavor and not too heavy on the sauce. Always leftovers for round 2 and can feed up to 4 people read more

So glad to have just discovered this gem down the street from work! Great for pick-up or dine in. Very cozy dinning area with large portions and prompt, friendly service. Growing up in Eagle Rock, I felt like I was back in the kitchens of my childhood friends house where their mom would constantly serve plate after plate of fried rice, tasty pork dishes, and broccoli beef. I tried to order by phone, but phone was down so I had to go there to order. When I got there to order I learned the restaurant has new owners. I was hesitant to order but I was there. I have to say it was the worst food experience. Ordered steamed dumplings. The dough was so thick it was barely cooked through and soft. Chicken inside was tasteless. Store bought dumplings are much better. Got Kung Pao chicken. Again, some what tasteless. Walnut shrimp was over cooked. I'll never order from this restaurant again. I am disappointed because the other owners I felt had made a good improvement over Frontier Wok. No I have to order from over priced Gourmet 88 who also charges for rice. The food is good and the company I work for has like 12 men working there. We like to order from here a lot. Every time I ask for extra spices, they give me 4 little containers of their hot sauce. Like really... ????!!!!!! 4.. no more... There's 12 ppl and we all order when we come here... and we love hot sauce in our food.. I don't mind paying extra if that's what they want money. but come on. ugh frustrating when you can't eat your food how you want it. read more

OMFG I just ordered food for pick up and was overly clear chicken and broccoli and shrimp and asparagus! And clarified only chicken and broccoli and shrimp and asparagus!!!! Picked up my food and asked again only chicken and broccoli and shrimp and asparagus? Answer... Absolutely sir... Well to my surprise when I arrive home to feed my friends who are allergic to onions both dishes are swimming in onion ions!!!! I call back and explain my situation and the young man on the phone was very understanding and said he would take care of the problem strait away... I drive back to pick up my order and not only is the food not being cooked but I am asked to prove that there where onions in my food order...REALLY? this will be last order!!!! read more

I love this place! It's my favorite Chinese place in all of Burbank! Food is always fresh and delicious. My favorites are the orange chicken and the spicy garlic chicken. Still wish they were open Sundays for lunch. read more

I've come hear many times over the years. The service is fast and really friendly. The space is very inviting and comfortable. I've always loved the food for its quality and flavor. But I have to say I'm hooked on their kung pao chicken - best recipe I've ever tried. There are lots of options and the prices are very good. Very reliable place. The food is always good and consistently so. Though I'm not far from the location at all they do deliver faster than anywhere else I've ordered from. They usually arrive within 20 minutes even during lunch time or when its posted that the estimated wait is an hour. Its also a good price with a free eggroll during lunchtime. And a $15 minimum isn't hard to fill. Definitely a good option for quick and cheap chinese food. read more

Had lunch here today with a friend. We both had shrimp dishes, he had it with Lobster Sauce and I had it with String Beans with Black Bean Sauce. Mine was marked spicy, my friend who doesn't eat spicy food told me that it was very mild. His Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was like eating Shrimp with thick gooey Egg Drop Soup on it. I tried this place because Frontier Wok is no longer there. I ordered $40. worth of food and used a $4. coupon. I ordered the house specialty, sweet and pungent shrimp. It was not pungent or sweet but looked like diluted catsup. There were no vegetables mixed in with the shrimp and there were four small bunches of broccoli in each corner of the to go container. The fried pot stickers were under cooked (we threw them away) and had NO flavor. The spring rolls had no vegetables in them and were fried in something other than peanut oil. Very heavy, not light and crispy. The order of vegetable chow mein was a huge disappointment. No assortment of veggies, and they looked and tasted old. The won ton soup had no salt and the won tons were dense and under cooked as well. We had this delivered and there were no fortune cookies, no soy sauce and no hot mustard. Not only was this a disappointment, but my son and I have been sick ever since tasting some of the food here. I wish I could get my money back as we threw everything away after eating a bit of it. I will never order from here again. Oh and the nice guy that delivered our food had to try and get an image of my credit card by rubbing his pen over it to make an imprint.
