As I was doing my loop and heading north on 4th St. I remember being at One Eye Kelly's and some one brought in a pie from Nicko's. I didn't have any at the time but it did look good. It had struck me as I was cruising by Kelly's. Just up 4th it was. As I approached I could see the parking could be an issue but not on this day. Found a spot out front and in I went. Not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. A locals pizza pub with a variety of beers on tap. However, as I peered behind the bar in the cooler was Miller High Life. It is so hard to find those in bottles and this place has them. The gentleman behind the bar came over as he finished with another patron. Two slices of cheese pizza and a High Life please. As I waited for my slices I took a look around. Clean place for a local joint. They have a few TVs on the walls to entertain. The slices arrive. Crispy, thin and hot just how I like it. I ordered just cheese cause I wanted to get a good taste of the pie and it did not disappoint one bit. Cheese and sauce mix was right on and the crust with that slight crisp. He read it back to me to confirm. Either they do not carry 'Fresh Mozzarella' or they simply do not care enough to complete an order with ONE customization.
