Pretzels have definitely gone up and it's been a while since I had a pretzel. I usually get the bites to share. They were pillowy soft, hot, and tasty. The jalapeño cheese dip actually had some kick and paired well. Overall a bit steep at almost $12 for the bites and 1 dip but would buy again.

    The bill.

OMG!!!! I ordered the pizza pretzel and a pizza sauce. I never in my life tasted salty pizza sauce. What a nasty mess. They need to work on a new receipe, immediately! This is my second visit to one of these establishments and now I remember why I never been back. It is NOT worth the money. Bad around!!!

Wetzel's Pretzels has opened stores in almost all the shopping malls or outlet malls. They have 2 or 3 locations in the San Francisco Premium Outlets alone. I waited in line before Watzek's Pretzels simply to buy a pretzel and a drink. Yes! They have a line in front of the store on most weekends. The store looks clean, and the workers are working as fast as they can. But it is too many customers. I guess pretzels are one of the most convenient foods we can eat and shop simultaneously.

Man, I think there are a ton of these surrounding the SF Premium Outlets! I had a bad experience at the one located somewhere in Concord so I thought I'd give it a try here. Much better, I have to say because they at least had everything I wanted. It was a slow day, so there wasn't a crowd. Needless to say, the service was fast! I got the dog bites with a side of cheese and a frozen lemonade. Dog bites were meh, but kinda for elevated when dipped with the cheese. The frozen lemonade was refreshing, even more so on a semi-hot day. FOOD: 3. It was exactly as expected. SERVICE: 5. No muss, no fuss. VALUE: 3. PARKING: Huge shopping outlet lot. OVERALL: 3.5. Better than average for a snack. Not bad for a first run.

    Classic pretzel, salt and butter

Today I went to Wetzel's after downloading their new app, you get a free original or sinful cinnamon pretzel as a welcome reward! I used to get it at this mall quite often when they had the stand outside the YSL and true religion store. This I got from the spot near saks off fifth and Nike outlet! I was able to order it ahead on the app which I was glad I did since it had a fairly long line that I was able to skip by picking up my order! It was totally free and I like that you can earn points on the app when you regularly order. I went for the original pretzel since I had just got some ice cream. The original is way better then I remember it being in the past years ago when I would order it. It was super soft and buttery which really made all the difference! The salt on it was nice too but maybe a lil bit much so I dusted some off of it. Normally I get the pepperoni or the pepperoni and jalapeño pretzel so it was nice to try something different! Small clean store and there are some benches and seating nearby you can eat your pretzel at!

    Burnt pretzels

It wasn't crazy busy, we were patient and friendly and I even tipped. They didn't ask if we wanted salt and then as we were eating the pretzels we noticed that they put a bunch of burnt pretzels on the bottom of the bag!

Mmmm.... Wetzel Pretzel and delicious lemonade.

Never had a problem with the pretzels or the service here! I used to work near here, and would come to wetzel's like, everyday on my break. They eventually just knew me and my order. :) Of course, I came here during the off hours (non-lunch peak), so the place was pretty much empty and the line nonexistent. During a Saturday afternoon, the line can get ridiculous and will take 20 minutes just to get inside. But the pretzels are worth it, and they're super convenient if you're there just to do some shopping. They also have some pretty bomb lemonade.

    Nowhere to eat inside.

We had it Sunday at the farmers market and again Thursday at the farmers market; it was that good! It's simple, not overdone. Which is perfect. Fresh ahi, sesame, avocado, onion, sauce. Over rice, or your choice of base. It's a little pricey but it is 100% worth it. When comparing to other poke places around, it's a little higher but the quality smacks those in the face, so it makes sense. The fish is so fresh tasting, melts in your mouth. Highly, highly recommend. So nice to have a nice light, refreshing food truck option in lieu of all the fried stuff. Plus, the guy who runs the truck is so friendly. So nice. Reminds me so much of being in Hawaii and getting that ohana treatment. The truck looks clean and well taken care of which makes me feel good about the cleanliness standards he holds. You won't be disappointed; check it out!

You also have to pay more just to get rice with your fish (if ordering a "poke boat") which feels like a rip off in my opinion. Ahi tuna ($14 for 1/2 lb) itself is solid and good quality for what it is in this area. The sauce is described as a sesame soy sauce with spicy mayo. It's on the sweeter with some savoriness, light on the sesame, and not so much salty. I do like the flavors, but the poke isn't marinated long enough for them to seep through the whole fish chunks. Has a very slight kick from the chili flakes.

I must have gotten there a bit early because when I arrived, only one of the half dozen or so trucks was set up and ready to vend. I ended up with a gyro and a strawberry lemonade from the Mediterranean Touch truck. The lemonade was great! The gyro was... different. The ingredients were arranged differently than any gryo I've previously had, making it a bit difficult to eat. The meat was also a little dry and just a bit too salty. Also, as messy as it was, I didn't see any napkins on the truck (thank goodness I keep hand sanitizer wipes in my purse). Since there were all kinds of cuisines and culinary offerings present (burgers, Indian, Mexican, Boba Tea etc.), I'd probably come and check them out again.

I tried a beef empanada which came with three sauces: a salsa, a creamy (almost tartar-like) one, and a green onion oil one. Never again will i listen to a non-human! Let me first start off by saying, i love me my quesadillas. It's my go to mexican food. My staple, the good ol' reliable. Not tacos, not burritos. The mighty legendary quesadilla. How can you mess up a quesadilla with meat? Well it's possible here at Tacos Mil Delicias. It all started with the price tag. $15 dollars for a quesadilla, thats before tax. I thought to myself, okay, it's going to be at least mildly big or beefy. Nope and nope. This thing was thinner than a Taco Bell quesadilla and smaller than the usual size flour tortilla for a menu item like this at other Mexican taco trucks. All this while waiting in the cold for what felt to be longer than 15 minutes. Unacceptable. They did have some chairs next to their truck and it looked decently clean, but i thought it wouldn't take that long and is the reason why i stayed standing. Wrong. I didn't give it one star because the quesadilla did not taste bad. Regardless, for that amount of money, it's best spent elsewhere.

The winners were the birria inspired tacos, loaded Filipino fries, Cajun shrimp skewer, ube cheesecake, and baked goods/desserts. We had high hopes for more spicy & flavorful Jamaican food, richer Dubai chocolate strawberries, and actual calamansi the drink we ordered. Unfortunately I don't recall all of the businesses we tried from, you'll have to reference the pictures. Environment/Vibes: 4 out of 5 Cool vibes, picnic tables for seating, and a strategically placed porta potties and handwashing stations. The organizers did a great with how the venue was set up! Overall: 3.5 out of 5 I enjoyed this themed night market! Clearly I'm biased and prefer flavorful over Instagramable items. So far I prefer this food event over Foodie Land due to the mostly AAPI focused food vendors and shopping booths. Not going to lie the prices will be inflated since the vendors have to pay "rent" for the space they take up. Strategically go with at least 4-5 people so you can try different things. I thought a lot of the vendors did a great job with fusion inspired items.
