It's a standard Whataburger location. Same menu, same food as any other Whataburger. There's something to be said for consistency.

Go somewhere else! This place is a joke. I went there and they took my order but didn't fill it. My companion had finished his meal by the time I got mine, after re-ordering. Their process in the kitchen needs work. They seem to take care of the drive through customers at the expense of the customers sitting inside. It's expensive for what you get. Once the new wears off, smart people will figure out that Sonic is a much better deal. read more

Ordered a burger with a large onion ring, a sausage biscuit meal, and 2 plain sausage biscuits by themselves. Got the burger, no onion rings. Got 3 sausage egg and cheese biscuits and one bob. No hash browns. No plain sausage biscuits. Whoever was working at the drive thru window was joking around more with his friends than paying attention to what's going out. I'm thinking they gave us someone else's food so I'm sure a lot of people's orders were messed up. It can't be that hard to put food in the right bags. read more

Honestly, I had loved this Whataburger til tonight's experience. I decided to place an order on the phone; okay. I did that. The lady over the phone asked; "do you want to come through the drive thru or inside?" I said drive thru because I'm on lunch (keep in mind this is after midnight) so I get there and go through the drive thru and I said, "I called in an order" so the person at the drive thru (named Brandon P.) says "pull forward" so I said okay, I pull up, takes like 15 minutes for the person in front to get their order. They leave. I pull up; he reads an order and I say; "no, I'm the one who phoned in the order" and right away he got argumentative towards me - "you need to come inside next time, I have cars ordering and I can't be doing this, whenever you order over the phone you have to come inside" in a real mean and argumentative manner. I was taken by surprise because who says that? And I said "well, the lady I spoke to over the phone said I could do either one? I told her drive thru" and he right away said "no she told you to come inside" which was a damn lie. I was so heated by that point; it's like why would you give me lip? I literally have done nothing but waited and there was no one behind me at all when I pulled up. And on top of that he was already forgetting my coke that came with my meal. This experience has changed my view here and I don't think I'll be going back. read more

For fast food, I gotta say that this was pretty dang good! I asked for light mustard because my fiance told me that when he went, his burger was just drenched in the stuff. The wait was a little long, but my burger was amazing and my fries were pippin' hot. The burger patty reminded me of a Seattle fave of mine and everyone in Seattle- Dick's. We have eaten here several times and always enjoyed our food. It's hard to find a bad Whataburger! Sometimes the wait has been a little long, sometimes barely any wait at all. Lunch seams to be a busier time than dinner. The staff is always courteous. I think this is one of the best fast food joints in Dripping Springs. read more

This place has screwed up our order the last two times we went here. Drive thru took 25 min. the last time to get up to window just to be given half the order and what was there was wrong. After leaving the drive thru I discovered our order was still wrong and went inside just to wait another 10 min just to get the order fixed. When we finally got home we found that our order STILL was wrong. Manager gave me an excuse that all the associates working that night were new. She was the one working the window and didn't even look at our receipt to see if the order was correct. They need to train their associates better before putting them in the kitchen and find a manager who can take responsibility for the restaurant. She always remembers me and greets me whether she's the one helping me or not. I've never seen her remotely close to being anything other than extremely friendly and cheerful! Wouldn't normally review a fast food restaurant, but their lack of service and order inaccuracies drive me up the wall. Literally EVERY SINGLE TIME we have been there, they have gotten our order wrong. Not once in a while, not cook having a bad day, but EVERY time. It's impeccable how they can manage to screw up our order so often. The wait is usually ridiculous and then to get the wrong stuff drives me up the wall. It is usually my daughter's burger too, which stinks because half the time I would probably just eat my incorrect order, but you know kids. They gotta have it the way they ordered it ha! Its a Whataburger. I've been working in Dripping Springs for 8 months. Consistantly good. Service above average, clean. Patrons are normal people unlike the transplanted Kalifornia obamaheads that hang out in the local liberal cafes. That in itself makes the food taste better. read more

Given the local choices, my family prefers Whataburger when looking for a fast food burger place. At this location you can count on slow service, incorrect orders and poor service. We have been there multiple times hoping that this time will be faster or better. Recently, after handing me drinks in the drive-thru, the worker proceeds to tell me he didn't mark the drinks as to what kind they were. He states that I could just taste them to determine what kind they were and who they belonged to. Really? I'm sure everyone we were getting food for would like to have others drinking from their cup...Management needs to work on their process and customer service! read more

Unfortunately, this was my worst Whataburger experience. I saw a hair in my sandwich (before eating) and immediately and kindly informed an employee. No apology. No surprise. No refund offer. I asked for a cheaper sandwich and was told that they probably couldn't do that. Well, I told them they could just keep the extra money and make the cheaper sandwich for me. They agreed to that. They forgot about my order, and my entire group (9 other people) completed eating their meals. I asked to get mine to-go. Once again, no apology, no refund offer and no coupon. I'm a loyal whataburger patron, and I will never eat at that location again. I will also advise everyone I know to stay clear from that location as well. read more
