We stopped by because it was about 8-10 minutes from the hospital where my daughter was having her dental procedures done. Although we wanted to dine-in but the only option was drive-thru, the food was hot and delicious! We enjoyed our in the car dine-in experience, while we wait for our daughter's procedure to be completed. Drive-thru service was fast and efficient. Staff members were wearing masks. Went to this location around 2:30am no cars in the parking lot no one inside ordered my food get to the window to pay and hear rap music playing then I was instructed to pull forward to wait for my food car pulls in behind me gets his food and everything drives off another car pulls up gets there food and drives off. The food was good per usual and the SERVICE WAS WOW! We had people bring us our food before we could even sit down. They gave us PLENTY of spicy ketchup and even came by to check on us. I hadn't heard of Whataburger before visiting Destin Florida. One night my wife and I decided to try it and had a good experience. We both had a burger which was huge and I ordered a spicy chicken also (before I realized the burger was so big). We also had some fries. Priscilla was our server and she was happy to tell us about Whataburger and brought our food to our table when it was ready. Everything was hot and fresh. We come to this Whataburger multiple times every summer when we come to the beach. We have always had a great experience and our large order is always correct when it comes out. Today we decided to eat inside and Mila was great! She came around and interacted with the tables and even went and filled our kids drinks for them. We're down here for vacation from Kentucky, so we HAD to stop in at Whataburger! We tried to come in on Saturday, but the line was crazy.. so we resolved to try again later. We came in around 2:00 on Thursday for lunch. The friendly worker informed us it would be a 40 minute wait for our food, which we agreed to. The food came out almost exactly 40 minutes to the second. First time they were out of burgers because their truck didn't come that day and the second time the wait was between 30-60 minutes with no line. By far the worst whataburger I've been to and I'm a loyal die hard who has been visiting for 30+ years. First off, after meeting and speaking with the "manager" Joel I totally understand why this store has so many issues. I personally watched him get cussed out by a customer after he rudely tried to speak to them and she let him know that was not okay this time or any other. After which he put his tail between his legs and acted as one would expect (had a temper tantrum like a 2 yr old) This store was run so badly, even the employees thought it was a joke of a store. Where to begin, I had to visit this particular store 3 times before ever even getting food From sorry sir we served our last customer at 10........ what? Are you serious, I'm looking at an iPhone that clearly still says 10 but he acts they been closed for hours and I was crazy to think you could get food at 10pm. Nevermind the big sign on the store that says open 24 hours and serving breakfast from 11pm. Huh? How can you serve breakfast at 11pm yet close at 10pm, how can you be 24 hours and close at all. Second visit, 9:15pm I call ahead to make sure they're open...... yes sir we're open until 10pm. (Again sign says 24 hours but a nice young lady informed me due to no employees they had to close early) Makes sense, again I've met and spoke with Joel so can clearly see how no employees would want to work here and how making a schedule could be light years ahead of Joel's abilities. Finally, trip 3. the seas parted and the skies opened up and holy cow at 1pm on a Monday you can in fact order food from whataburger Miramar beach. Will wonders never cease...... Well that didn't last long, after days of anticipation and build up I didn't even eat all of my #1 meal. Burger, plain and dry with no cheese but yet somehow way too complicated for Joel and his team Fries, why yes I love cold fries direct from the drive thru window that just screams superior food to me. NOT!!!! The Dr Pepper was phenomenal, unfortunately I credit the great DP to the folks at Dr Pepper for having such a superior product that not even these guys could screw it up and that is saying a lot for this store. Overall 2 thumbs down, negative star if it would allow it and really just huge waste of a good location. If I could give some advice to anyone in the Miramar area it would be to drive down the road a little further to Niceville as it's like the other 99.5% of stores and has a great staff, good manager, wonderful food and doesn't take half hour + to get food from the drive thru They redeemed the whataburger brand now if Joel could just go back to whatever he did prior hopefully someone new can right this ship cause it needs it BAD!!!!!! This spot is so disappointing, me and my mom walked to this whataburger because we were really craving it . We got to the place and noticed that the inside is closed so we went to the drive thru door to see if they can take our order, shockingly enough they told us they can't take our order because they were "short staffed" and to add to it they were ignoring us when we were at the door for about 6 minutes . when the lady opened the door (the manager) she was following the rules of a regular worker and the regular worker was saying to close the door on our face which is quiet frankly very rude to do . me and my mom go to this one other whataburger and they always take our order when we knock at the door , in my opinion they are just lazy and don't care about customer satisfaction. horrible place. read more

On the recommendation of my son, I tried Whataburger for the first time in my life. Now I understand the name. I ordered a double meat and cheese chopburger. It was delicious. Juicy with a homemade taste, not a frozen, generic, fast food flavor. And the price was decent. This place was extremely busy, with a line going to the door, and I can understand why. It's particularly popular with the younger set. They bring the food, and condiments, to your table. In addition to the hamburger, I had fries and onion rings. The rings were great and the fries are thin, almost like potato sticks. They offer a spicy ketchup that has a little kick to it for something different. I'd highly recommend Whataburger as a fast food place with decent tasting, fresh food. The place was so busy when we were there that it wasn't getting the attention it deserved in terms of cleaning. read more

The only thing good about this location is that it was open at 5 am when I needed something to eat. I walked in and was greeted by angry Rosa. She left her mop in the dining area to tell me I would have to wait 10-15 minutes to order because all of the computers in the store were being updated. So as I waited about 5 minutes Michael came from the back and asked if I had placed an order. I explained that I was waiting for the computers to come back on line. I'm not sure how to rate this place in the fast-food burger world. But if I had to try, I would say this place is way better than Burger King/McDonald's/Wendy's but NOT QUITE better than Five Guys or Backyard Burger. However, I got to say that the competition between Whataburger and Five guys is pretty darn close. Five guys definitely wins.....but it's definitely on the upper crust of fast food burger chain restaurants in my expert opinion. However, I'm not at all down playing the Whataburger. It's a pretty awesome burger for fast food and they are very generous about their toppings, which I appreciate. The bacon and cheddar burger add jalapeños is my personal favorite (yes, I know, I'm a greedy pig) but everything looks pretty good there. I don't have a Whataburger back where I live in Louisiana so I was excited to try one while away on vacation.
