I used to really love this place but it's gone downhill. The food quality is absolutely terrible. We've gone for breakfast and brunch many times before and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Now I think all of their food is probably frozen and they are cutting corners. The biscuits used to be amazing and had an homemade texture, not anymore. I've noticed the food was not as high quality lately and tiny portions. The other night we were going to Nando's next door for dinner but they had a long wait. Our friends had never been to Nando's or What's Crackin so we decided to eat at What's Crackin since they didn't have a wait. Terrible and embarrassing mistake. The food was dreadful. My boyfriend and I both had patty melts. The patty was just tasteless and looked like a cheap frozen patty. The whole sandwich had little flavor. Our friends shared a chicken sandwich and that thing was pathetic. Just some chicken on some bread. Reminded me of the chicken sandwiches at a school lunch cafeteria. My friends ice tea was weak and bitter. My margarita was warm and not salt on the rim. The service was slow and they only checked on us once. We came in Sunday 11am and it was incredibly packed. Very crowded and no room to stand. Hostess seemed very overwhelmed. We asked if we could order to go, since that's typically quicker. We ordered 2 coffees and 1 sandwich and 1 burrito. We waited 45minutes for our to go food! We got the AM sandwich and 30 minutes into waiting the hostess s informed us they were out of croissants and we could sub so I ordered a biscuit instead. When we actually got the food to go, it was awful. I could taste the biscuit mix in the biscuit. The burrito was cold. The coffees literally has NO coffee in them. It was actually just a cup of milk with zero espresso. We also ordered oat milk for our latte and it was just regular milk. This place is terrible! Unsure what the long wait is about. read more

I don't leave a lot of reviews but this is the worst food and service I have experienced in a while. My bf bought a Groupon and we thought we would try it out. I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich and he ordered The All American breakfast plate. When my sandwich came the batter on my sandwich was visibly burnt. It was dark brown. I took a bite and a wave of old grease and burnt flavor overcame my taste buds. I couldn't even taste the meat or cheese. I decided to pick some meat out of the sandwich but even then it just tasted like grease and overused oil that should have been swapped hours ago. I completely lost my appetite. I picked at a couple fries. On top of that, they charged my bf for the full price of the meal even after we had showed them the Groupon before we ordered and then tried to charge him more on top of it and the staff seemed incompetent. Good food but needs some work. The place is extremely clean and they are being very careful about wearing masks and gloves, cleaning menus and social distancing. We were told our wait would be 20 minutes but it was closer to 40. The food came out quickly, and our main dishes are good but there were 2 issues; The cream that came with my coffee was a bowl of those individual half and halfs, along with some flavored creams. I checked and the half and half was not the shelf stable kind, it was warm and when I opened it they smelled nasty. Also there was some food smeared on some of the packets. I asked for milk and my server cheerfully gave me that. Also, the grits, I don't know what they were but cold and lumpy and watery. Yuk. Again, the server was great and didn't charge me. My family and I tried Whats Crackin Cafe today. The food was outstanding and the service couldn't have been better. I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich, it was crunchy and delicious but the best part was dipping it in the berry jame that came with. Top notch! The kids meal "mini pancakes" was two huge pancakes, and my daughter was very happy. The Hollandaise, was delicious on the beautiful eggs Benedict. We can't wait to go back and eat again. Not only that ... the hash browns came out cold and for a side of hash browns I believe they charged me about 4-6 bucks bc the receipt was not itemized but the amount of hash browns that they gave me as a side was child's portion. I called in a take out order for the Las Sendas Benedict and Lettuce Wrap. After arriving back at my home I realized that the lettuce wraps were missing the egg and avacado. Further, the Las Sendas Benedict was missing multiple ingredients as well. To make matters worse, the website listed the beendict as being $14, but when I checked the receipt I saw that I was charged $16.49. I doubled checked the website to ensure that I didn't misread the ingredients or prices and can verify as of time of writing that the aforementioned statements are accurate. In summary, incomplete dishes and overcharged. I ordered here once before and had an error to my order and figured it was just an off moment...
