I bought the lifetime alignment a few months ago. I had a tire go bad and has to have it replaced. Didn't have an appointment, but was told it would be ready in about 3 hours. When I called later in the day, I was told it was being aligned and to come in about 30 minutes and it would be ready. I gave them 45 before I went back and would up waiting another 90 minutes before it was done. And, it wasn't aligned! So, I made an appointment for today (I called 3 weeks ago) and was told they could have it done in 40 minutes to make up for not doing it the first time. When I got there, I waited 20 minutes to get helped, then was told it would be at least a couple of hours before they could get to it. I had an appointment. And I showed up early. Needless to say, I didn't wait around for 2 hours. Never going back there again. 2 strikes, your out. read more

Surprised to see 3 stars for this establishment. Initially, they charged me $100 despite having warranty. The clerk was VERY RUDE and UNSKILLED but eventually the facts were talking (I almost had to call the cops). Don't go here except if you like AMATEURS, LONG WAITS & GETTING RIPPED OFF. read more

Nissan had told me that 3 of my wheel TPMS sensors were bad and recommended changing all 4 TPMS. Took my car to Wheel Works. They checked it and said that only 1 TPMS was bad and needed replacement. Substantial savings! The staff there is friendly so I definitively will bring my business back to Wheel Works. read more

Came in to get my tire patched since it had a slow leak and was told there was no charge for patches! I was super stoked and about 10 minutes later they came and tole meI had a nail in my sidewall! Jon was super helpful and got a new tire ordered and was there the day after next. Didn't need an appointment just walked in handed them the keys a little bit later I had a new tire on. Had a lag bolt in my tire from who knows what. Went to Wheel Works and spoke to Armando. Asked to have them repair my tire and rotate the other three. I originally ordered the tires from Tire Rack and had them installed there about a year ago and had good service then so that's why I went back. Anyway, Armando not only plugged my tire and rotated my tires but, also cleaned my rims and applied tire shine to my tires. Did I mention that they did not charge me! I went for oil change and realized they were booked for the next one week. I requested Brian if I could leave the car anyways, and see if he could accommodate in case there were any cancellations. By 3.30 pm, Brian called me informing that the job was done, which included tune up and wheel alignment (since I had the lifetime warranty) and also gave me a discount by ringing a coupon. Went here for the first time last weekend. Although I knew about a discount from an ad, they offered it to me voluntarily and then provided helpful input about the choices. It was a Sunday afternoon, but they completed an oil change and free tire rotation on time. They also did a somewhat complicated fan belt replacement, as well as diagnosing the cause of the problem, and provided a good checklist on my car's general condition. I was surprised at the average rating Wheel Works in Dublin got. I had a GREAT experience and I cannot believe the difference in my drive now. I have a 2007 Prius and replace my tires about 3 1/2 years ago and have hated my ride, gas mileage went down, etc. I researched my options and found the advice confusing. Some tire companies say you don't need low resisant tires but others say you do. I read reviews and pretty much decided on either Michelen (?sp) or Bridgestone. Costco was having a sale on the Bridgestone so I called and talked to John at Wheel Works. He confirmed that the Bridgestones are a great choice and that is what he would have recommended and match Costco price. He also said he wouldn't do anything other than a low resistant tire. Results: I love them and my mpg has gone up 3 points (I was told I wouldn't see the difference). I highly recommend them and am actually considering them for oil changes moving forward. read more

today I bought some new tires for my truck, I was helped out by John the manager he helped me pick out tires, got them ordered and delivered today. When I dropped off my truck Jennifer was helpful and gave me a realistic time when my truck would be finished. And Hugo who had worked on my truck transfered my tire sensors from my old rims to my new rims, and put my spare tires back under the truck. We had to replace our tires in an emergency, and Alex was very helpful in finding a solution even though he didn't have the tires in stock. He checked the stock in local stores and even looked for options among his competitions. He was truly helpful and gave very useful information. read more

Although I didn't get in until 2:00, he promised me I'd get my car back today and that is impressive because he didn't have the tires in stock, but went the extra mile and got them for me! On Friday I went to the San Ramon store to have a tire with a nail repaired. When I got in the car the tire pressure monitoring system light was on. The system had to be reset and their unit was not charged. On Monday I returned and they told me the device to reset it was still not working and sent me to Dublin. Dublin said the device in the tire was broken. The Manager, Armando Garcia, interceded and ordered the replacement part, called me on Tuesday when it came in and set up an appointment. Was heading to a memorial service on Sunday morning and got a flat tire on my classic car with custom wheels. Found you were .2 miles from my location. We got there at 8 before they opened at 9. They let us in a little early and got me written up a little early so they could get right on it when the techs arrived. Their customer service fails. I get a message from them confirming that I have an appt. time for my oil change but that it is overbooked, so come in and drop off the car. What does that mean? I don't know so I call and am told I have an appt. but it normally takes 60-90 minutes for an oil change and just come in at my appt. time. I get there and the intake guy says "you got my message, right?" I can tell something is up so I tell him I called in and was told they double booked my slot and it would take 60-90 minutes. He says "oh ok...." I can tell something is still up so when he gets back from getting info from my car, I ask him, what is up, he says the same thing, they are double booked and I should leave the car. I say I understand.... why? What time should I come back? That's when he finally says to me that I am looking at a three and a half hour wait for my oil change! If I hadn't asked, I would have been waiting hours. The intake guy made no attempt to reschedule me or even apologize for the double booking and my inconvenience. 1.5 hours is on the outside of reasonable for an oil change but and 3.5 hours (and not even being told until I ask) is unreasonable. And no apology or acknowledgement of my inconvenience (I had an appt. after all) makes this a complete fail. The good news for me is I was considering these guys for the odd size tiresmy other car needs that Costco never carries. Glad I found out how they treat people over an oil change and not $1K worth of tires. read more

Alex told me there was no way he would help change my tire to get back to the valley because he was closing soon. However, doors were still open. so armando and his workers striped my oil pan a year ago ,vans been leaking ever since ,then he wants me to buy a 700$ oil pan .i let this slide and had them do all 4 brakes,they lasted 4 months and have been clicking very loudly even after the third time trying to fix i give up on this shop and do not think much of his workers......... read more

I bought 4 tires from Wheel Works about a year ago and bought the Tire protection. (free Flat repair) I did not pay the lowest for the tires, but they were not the highest either, I got a fair price. My gripe is when a year later I needed to have a tire fixed. I called this morning and asked if I needed an appointment and was told no, just bring it in, so I did and when I got there I was told it would be a 3-4 hour wait. No way would I wait that long. I didn't expect them to drop everything and take care of me, but they said they had 10 cars in front of me. This is just poor customer service. Next time I need tires, it will not be here. read more

These guys did a bait and switch over what they told me on the phone and later refused to honor it. I can't say they are trustworthy.

I was their loyal customer for about 2 years.. That is untill my last visit to them after which i am never going back ever again. I needed an oil change, so i called and made an appointment for saturday. It took them close to 8 hours to get it done, but i didnt really mind. The following week i started smelling exhaust fumes in my car when i drove, but since i know absolute 0 in cars, i didnt put 2 and 2 together... 4 days and 300 miles later i finally decided to look under my hood. They left oil cap OFF! Oil was splashed all over insides of my car, which what i smelled burning in last couple of days. By some miracle it didn't all splash out and the new cap was only 5 bucks, but mistake like that combined with my over 60 miles a day commute could have cost me my car. When i called, they didnt seem to concerned, and just said i can bring the car in and they will clean it. FORGET IT. THis is completly unexcusable for a professional car service shop. Never going there ever again. read more

I bought tires at the Dublin location about two years ago. Today was my third visit for a tire rotation and alignment. The purchase of tires included free tire rotations and wheel balancing for the life of the tires. I also bought a lifetime alignment service with a discount they were having, this is less expensive than paying for 2 alignments. Usually I make a reservation because they are always busy and even with a reservation it may take a few hours. I walk across the street to Half Price Books while I wait. Today I didn't have an appointment but I arrived right at 9am when they opened. Emil was able to fit me into their busy schedule. There were a lot of cars from the day before ahead of mine so he'd give me a call if they could get my car done sooner than 5pm. They finished my car by about 2:45pm. I give these guys 4 stars out of 5 because of the wait times, even with a reservation. They have always been friendly, offer discounts to save me money and have done good work for me. The fact they are always have plenty of customers means they are doing something right. Thank you Team Wheel Works! read more

These guys are life savers! I found out by a co-worker that my front headlight was out. I immediately went to the Kragens on Regional, since its the closest to my home. They are usually always willing to help replace a bulb or put oil in, but I have an older model Mercedes so they suggested I ask if the guys at Wheel Works if they could help me.! Of course Wheel Works just closed but Armando and his crew (really one guy, sorry I didnt get your name) said they would look at it. They were so nice and not only pulled out the bad bulb, but waited till I went back into Kragens to get a new one and put it in for me, all without charging me at all! I was so happy and surprised that people still offer this level of customer service.
