[[HIGHLIGHT]]We were pleasantly surprised by this cute restaurant at Bishop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We spent the night in the area on our way to Lake Tahoe and we didn't expect much but that place is a hidden gem! The food was amazing and our waitress was the sweetest lady! Don't forget to try their delicious desserts, especially the panna cotta!

We have only driven through bishop and never stayed there. We are glad we did and found whiskey creek to eat at. The chicken and steak were yummy tasting. The loaded mashed potatoes still make my mouth water. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is huge and has lots of space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was kind yet funny. We will definitely always eat dinner here any time we stay in Bishop.

Stopped in for breakfast. First time in and I was craving Steak and Eggs. I ordered it cooked Medium rare and an additional 2 eggs (over easy). Crispy Hash Browns and sourdough toast. My wife ordered the Avocado toast with fruit. And she said it was delicious! Our server was Trina and she was amazing! Always checking in and making sure we were happy! The dining area was in the bar and it was comfortable and relaxing. It looks like they have an area designated for live music. We were just passing through but very happy to find Whiskey Creek. I definitely recommend it! Cheers

I have been coming to here since 1979 when the one in Mammoth was still there. Lunch at Bishop was a fantastic experience. The waitstaff were ALL highly professional and attentive. I was quite impressed at the professionalism of the whole crew! The manager was superb! Thank you very much and see you soon.

Very nice I liked as soon as they asked where we wanted to sit.. they have the bar side separate from dining side. Ribeye streak with garlic mash. Steak came out hot which was a plus for me I love my food hot.. seasoned just right not over and not under very flavorful and tender it's 12oz so we shared it. The garlic mash again was just right over the top with gravy with a dollop of carrot just the right touch. Portion size was just right. Had a side sunshine salad the dressing was sweet with the little tart not to much but they mixed my salad in it. Sad I didn't get bread you can't have steak and salad without bread.. Staff was super nice they said on Thursday nights they have sax player when we were leaving they started getting more people. Don't get dessert would like to try the crème brûlée but was to full. The doors are open even with the construction. We will for sure stop by again when we are passing thru.

How does a Texan go to a steakhouse and not get a steak? When he goes to a restaurant that has two chefs and one cooks tasty Thai food. I had the Whiskey Creek pad Thai with beef (medium heat). My pad Thai was nicely seasoned with plenty of beef and veggies. My wife was still full from lunch so she had a baked potato and side salad and said they both hit the spot. Katie was our server tonight and she did a great job. Next time I might get a steak or probably with try another tempting Thai dish. Y'all check Whiskey Creek out!

This was the only restaurant open on Thanksgiving day in Bishop. Like the entire town was here. Beautiful decor and superb service; however, the food was nasty af. Omg we were too embarrassed to ask for a refund. We paid a very very high price for a meal that tastes worse than a Big Mac burger.

This place is fantastic! Stopped here while driving to mammoth and it was worth the stop. Our waiter Saul was awesome he made sure we had all our stuff out quick and made sure to keep our glasses full and was very friendly! The food was super good and not bad prices. The inside of the restaurant was super cozy. This place is bussin! Would recommend!

They did have a dinner rush but still wasn't overwhelmingly busy feeling. The food did take a bit on the longer side but I promise it is worth the wait. We had the ribeye aguachile and quesabirria tacos. The only suggestion I have is the quesabirrias to be made with a different brand of tortillas if it's not their own. They're a bit thicker and once crisped they can have a tug bite on them. Wish the aguachile ribeye had a side of something to justify the price as it doesn't come with rice, beans or anything else. Besides that definitely recommend and will come back.

Very good and the right amount of food! The chips were good except for the salsa it needed a little bit more zip for me, but that is okay! Plus, it was nice and enjoyable for a Wednesday night and the waitress was kind and had my food out to me as soon as I ordered! So all is good so next time I'm driving through Bishop I'll stop for some really good street tacos!! Thank you! Julie

Unfortunately, ever since the ownership changed, the experience has gone downhill. The customer service is consistently rude and unwelcoming. It feels like staff are irritated just having to take your order. The food is now overpriced for the quality you get, which is a big change from how it used to be. I stopped going for about a year, but recently decided to give it another chance. I called in an order for myself and my disabled grandfather, who only has one arm. I politely asked multiple times if they could please cut the steak for him and even explained why. They clearly seemed annoyed by the request. When I picked up the food, everything looked rushed and just thrown into the boxes--and the steak was not cut. The rest of the meal was just as disappointing. The taquitos were plain with only cheese on top--no sides like guacamole or sour cream, especially disappointing for the price. The loaded potato wasn't even "loaded," just a plain potato. Between the poor service, lack of care, and declining food quality, this place is nothing like it used to be. It's honestly sad to see something that used to feel welcoming and enjoyable turn into somewhere I now dread going. I wouldn't recommend stopping here anymore. There are better places in town that actually value their customers.

I think there were probably around a dozen. They look like they were a part of some type of organized group that probably frequent bowling alley. I thought it was really sweet the local high school graduates pictures on the wall. Actually, they were hanging. But nonetheless, I thought that was really awesome. The bowling alley is very small. I didn't quite catch how many lanes there were, but there are not many. There is a bar and I believe they do serve food there as well but we were not there for either. We wanted to get some information and to see what it might cost, but I have to say, after going in there and being overlooked for so long... we ended up leaving. I got a lot of funny looks. Maybe it was because we obviously looked like we were just passing through the town. I am not sure. All I can say is that it looked like a cute lil local bowling alley, that small town feeling for sure.
