Cute Cozie cafe. Great for a breakfast or lunch date. Street parking available. The service was great, super attentive waitress. Food took some time to come out but appreciated how fresh it was. Coffee was decent but the food won me over. The short rib Benny was delicious although my eggs might have been a tad over cooked it still was flavorful. The potatoes were also tasty. Will come back just because of the ambiance, service, and food.

We had a fantastic dining experience at the White Maple Café. It is a charming, family-run spot that delivers an incredible farm-to-table feel with an elevated yet comforting menu. Beyond the excellent food, the service is warm and genuinely welcoming. Mary, the owner, is the absolute sweetest and puts so much care into crafting a memorable experience for her guests. Whether you are stopping by for a unique drink or a full dinner, you can taste the quality and passion in everything they do. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

We went in for lunch on a weekday and the place was filled. It's a cute and quaint cafe. The tables are tiny so it felt a bit cramped. The staff were friendly, but service was slow due to the fact that all the tables were occupied. They start you off with a bowl of popcorn which was tasty. We got the huevos rancheros and I was really looking forward to it. However, it was bland and needed more depth to the flavors. We also got the short rib Benedict. It was good, but not great. I really wanted to love this place, but was a bit disappointed since they have such a promising menu.

How big fork they are serving with desert

We went there for Mother's Day, and I think that was one of our worst experiences. First of all, the menu they had on the table was very unprofessional. They only gave you options that felt like they were pushing on you. We had the Caesar salad, and it had no taste. The lamb chops I had were some of the worst I've had in my life, and I go to restaurants all the time. The service was really bad. The prices were way too high, and I think they were trying to take advantage of people for Mother's Day. Overall, it was a very bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this place.

We've been here in the past and actually enjoyed this place, but unfortunately, it's really gone downhill. It started when we sat at one of the outdoor tables; our server didn't even bother to clean it. I asked if it could be wiped down, and instead of doing it herself, she handed me some wipes so I could clean it. That probably should've been my first red flag to leave. They put a small bowl of popcorn on the table as a complimentary snack, but only gave one bowl even though we were sitting at two tables. I had to ask for another one, and it took about 15 minutes to arrive. It's a small thing and was complimentary, but if you're going to offer something, it makes sense to bring enough for everyone. The same lack of common sense showed up when we had to ask for more cups for water--and silverware. There were five of us, and they gave us two of each. Were we expected to share? We ordered the kids pancakes (which come as two large ones), but they were overcooked and dry. We also got the kids' scrambled eggs with bacon--my son actually liked that. The steak and eggs were fine, but a very small portion for the premium price. The crispy chicken sandwich from the specials menu was disappointing. The piece of chicken was so thin and over-breaded that it felt like I was just eating fried breadcrumbs and bread with no chicken. I asked for extra vodka sauce because it was so dry, and it took over 10 minutes and multiple requests to get it, by then I was over eating just bread with sauce. The pistachio latte was awful--basically watered-down milk with zero flavor. To top it all off, when the bill came, the woman stood right next to us, clearly waiting for us to pay. It felt very pushy as if she was trying to rush us to not see the extra charges on the bill. I had to ask her for a moment to review the check. I'm glad I did, because they tried to overcharge us for my son's kids' meal by nearly $10. His kids meal was listed on the menu as $10 for scrambled eggs and bacon. They charged us for 2 scrambled eggs for $13 and then an additional fee for bacon. On top of that, they added a credit card processing fee, even though we were paying in cash. I asked about it and was told it's automatically added to the bill. I had to insist they remove it from the bill as I was paying cash. They also automatically add tip which I hate because that's the exact reason why we received awful and slow service. Sorry, but will not be back to this establishment.

I rate it a 3 stars as last time I went the food and portions were so much bigger and fresher. I went recently for a second time and portions were smaller and service was worse. Took an hour and 10 minutes to get the food. In addition I think I got food poising from the food or the food was spoiled. Because I got the stomach bug and little cases of yk what the next day. I'm not coming back here, it's over priced for ok food.

Cute and super clean, family-run cafe located in the heart of Ridgewood. The owner was very friendly and our waitor was helpful, informative and attentive. None of us could decide what we wanted to eat and he was very honest about the menu items which helped tremendously. The food was delicious - you can taste the freshness in every bite. We ordered the ricotta board, mini scones, huevos rancheros with a side house salad, chicken salad sandwhich, tomato bisque, mushroom and potato soup, lava cake and apple cobbler. The mini scones come with maple butter and strawberry preserves which was a great combo! I highly recommend checking out the tomato bisque - it was creamy with crunchy croutons ontop and the taste kind of reminded me of vodka sauce. We came here for the brunch but would definitely come back to try their dinner!

First, the food here is up to standard and tasty, but the wait here is considerably long for a cafe. The cafe is very clean and neat and the staff were very kind. I would recommend for groups!

Nice little place to pop in for lunch. Clean space and has a modern feel- only con for me was that the air conditioning was on and was too cold for me, since today was chilly to begin with. Good, fresh, healthy food. Service was friendly and attentive. Had a great time with a friend and wouldn't say no to going back! Vegan options. Would love it if they put the Korean Cauliflower on the lunch menu!

Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock

The ambiance is chill and quiet. The café is tucked away on the side of the street - I actually missed it the first time and had to circle back. We were lucky to find street parking right in front, though there aren't many spots available. As for the pancakes themselves, I thought they were just okay. They're made with four eggs, and you can definitely taste them. That said, my daughter absolutely loved them, so it may just come down to personal preference.

It was busy when I ran in today around 12:45p on a Sunday and that's always a good sign. It looks clean and the drinks I saw looked appetizing. The food menu sounds fantastic. The guy who helped me with my order was super nice. But I actually went in there on the hunt for something specific. It's the 2nd time I went in since they moved to the space across the street from where they were. The first time I stopped in quickly and saw they had what I was looking for but very few so I didn't buy anything. l had done a very difficult and time intensive Google search for Macaron Cafe macarons. They wholesale out of NYC and they're the best macarons ever. There are probably 6-7 places in Ridgewood that sell macarons, some that make them fresh baked. And none are as good as the ones from Macaron Cafe. Pre-covid I could find them locally pretty easily. But now, it's really hard. Most of the places that sell them put up a menu of the flavors that's very easily identifiable, and they carry the full line. By googling a photo of the menu I was able to find them in Fort Lee and American Dream and those are both too far. I'd gone into every single place that sells macarons in downtown Ridgewood except RCC and none of them have them. I finally made it into Ridgewood when RCC is open (we usually end up in Ridgewood after dinner and they're closed) and imagine my joy in seeing the macarons there. I can tell it's them instantly. Except - they only have like eight of the flavors! They don't advertise them. They don't have the menu up either, so they only way I could tell there might be a chance of them being there was an old photo of their counter from Yelp or Google. So, I didn't have any drinks or food. I just bought some macarons. And I would've bought more except that they didn't really have the flavors I wanted. There are generally around 28-32 flavors and they change/add/take away every few months/holidays, etc. My knocking a star is ONLY for the lack of flavors of these amazing macarons and only having a tease amount of flavors of them. And they should advertise their baked goods/desserts better, like in photos on instagram. They don't post enough of all their food. I had to just take a chance and come in from an old photo. I know I don't want to have to drive to American Dream mall for these macarons. And I know the girls behind me in line today were talking about how they came in for tiramisu.
