Cutest place and delicious coffee! I got the decaf version of the Hug in a Cup. I wanted to write a review specifically because of how the coffee was perfectly flavored and NOT overly sweet like Starbucks. I started making my own coffee at home because I couldn't handle the sweetness of Starbucks anymore, it was like drinking melted ice cream. THIS coffee however was delicious! If you need coffee on the go, it's a good spot. It's a little more expensive than Starbucks, but it's worth it if you've got the time to wait. Make sure to bring cash in case the register doesn't work as expected. Although they used their membership card as a purchasing point for the Groupon, you can't use the Groupon for the membership card. Rather disappointing and deceptive. I still stand by my saying that they've got great coffee, but you have to wait for them to brew a new batch before you can get some. Also - you'd think their card reader would be fixed in 2 months, but the barista had to restart the register for the transaction to transmit. read more

I give his a one star because of the ambiance and long wait times. Their product is pretty good and their service is friendly. Speed is not part of their vocabulary and if you visit here you will be schooled in Christian University. Every time I've been there, I had to walk through multiple Christian prayer groups and study groups. The clientele provides a good insight to the the local demographics--sheltered. I was very excited to try this place it's been difficult finding good coffee in the area. So far every coffee drink that I have had has been really good. However, they do lack customer service. I have found that it's a re occurring problem , the Baristas seem more interested in their own behind the bar conversations than their customers. I have worked in the coffee Industry before and it's not just about serving a killer cup of coffee your interactions with your customers should be a priority as well . read more

Quality brew selection and a very comfortable atmosphere. I've been going there for years, and across time my diet has changed (no sugar). When I started there I really loved the syruped latte choices, especially the Sebastian and the Toasted Coconut. But the true test of a coffee shop is how well the actual coffee tastes without all that added in, and from the bean to the brew White Rhino came through. Could I knock off a star for how packed it is? Sure, but isn't that actually a testament to their quality across the board? I have been here twice and the coffee is delicious! I got the Mint Condition 12oz. tonight. The place has WiFi, its a great place to study, meet up with friends, and hang out in general. The place looks like a little house so you almost miss it if you're looking for it for the first time! They also have outside seating and a drive thru. The inside is small, but it's a nice little place with really good coffee. The business hours are convenient on Friday and Saturday since they close at midnight. First time was Sunday and itttttttttt wooooont be the last!! Ambiance was nerdy in a good way everyone on Laptops focus on whatever. Very Clean only one full pie left we bought to big slices soooo freking Delicious!!! And I got my usual if I don't choose to be in a mood for the barista to make me a suggested coffee blend ( takes a text breather... wait for it .. umm long sentence ) which is the Chai Latte cold. To top it off they had extra seating outside on the side of the building with a harmony park for kids behind the Cafe!! AmazeBallz!! My sons and Husband and myself are lovers of peace God and calm beautiful worship music and sound so they had a ball on the instruments. I had a blissful time sipping my tea and swinging and take my annual, monthly ,weekly basking in the beautiful creation of the most high! The sun I ran in the grass briefly and wasn't ready to leave but we just came from chuck E Cheese and a mom was ready to lay down! Long time customer (have been going 6 years) and the drinks/atmosphere/attitude has always been welcoming, the coffee has been great, and atmosphere calm. The first interior redesign a year or two ago was much needed and made the place look 'new' but kept the original feeling 110%. The pricing of the new food and outside drinks is absolutely garbagio and not worth it. $11 for a chicken salad sandwich with no sides? $5 for a bottle of kombucha I can get for $3 at a grocery store nearby? If you can't charge fair prices for your products then don't sell them. I see no way this new business model will work. Bring in customers with low prices, and when they're invested slowly raise it because they trust you. I see no way charging $11 for an average chicken salad sandwich is going to work sustainably. Don't know if the company is under new management that doesn't understand what the original feeling/atmosphere of the place is- or if they're trying to become absurdly corporate feeling. Coffee is great though, Cold War or Americanos are great. read more

This place is like home for me. It's the shop that got me into craft coffee. The drinks are great, the baristas are the friendliest out there, and the space is so cozy and clean. Only thing that's of concern is the amount of space inside, but the fact that the place is a remodeled old house is what gives this shop its special character, thus a smaller space is to be expected. The decor is modern and simplistic, but still warm and vibey. The people working there, including the manager (and my good friend) Ian, deeply care about coffee culture, the local community, and are always kind and helpful with everything.
