    Online menu price $13.99

Lesson learned. Online menu says $13.99 was charged $15.99. Then of course add the almost 10% tax. Then the total price did not add up. Overcharged by about $5. Brisket tasted good, but was dry. (Probably why they coated it an off tasting "bbq sauce") Mac and cheese was grainy and didn't have much flavor. Even though we were hungry, we only ate maybe a third and took the rest home and doctored it up with seasonings and breadcrumbs to make it more palatable.

Good bbq many dipping sauces to choose from. I had a late Thai lunch, so I wasn't too hungry at dinner. I ordered the bbq ribs. Tasty but nothing special. Yes I would recommend this place. A little strange was a server handed us a pad of paper and we were to write up what we wanted to order. They miss the chance to try and upsell food to us.

The pulled chicken is amazing! The beef brisket literally melts in your mouth!! I didn't feel the sides hold up to the same quality but I don't eat pork so only had the mac & cheese, cole slaw and fries. The mac & cheese was dry. The cole slaw was dry. The fries are more shoestring style and I like steak cut better. The meat was so good that I went a few times.

Driven by for awhile now and finally topped in. Seating indoor and outdoor. It was a hot day and the inside was not very comfortable. I feel they should of cranked the AC. It wasn't busy and service was very slow. I really hate to wait for the check then wait again for someone to take the check. I had the combo plate of pulled pork and pulled chicken. Comes with one side, side salad, and corn bread. The coleslaw was amazing. The cornbread was perfect and cooked in a small single serving cast iron pan. My side salad never came so when the waitress came, after the meal was finished, I mentioned I never received my salad and asked if it was ok if I just take a side of coleslaw to go. No apologies, I was told if I substitute then it would be an extra charge. That was in poor taste considering they messed up and never brought the salad. The chicken and pulled pork combo was good not great. I felt the chicken was on the dry side and they really skimp on the BBQ sauce. Most BBQ places have extra sauce at the table. My husband had the pulled pork sandwhich and really enjoyed it. The bun was soft, nice smoky flavor. They have soft drinks, beer and wine. For dessert we had a root beer float and a cannoli. They were both delicious. All in all, I would go back again and try more dishes.

We had the shared platter for 2 and it was very good! My only complaint was the pulled chicken which was dry. Otherwise, everything else was delicious! The ribs melt in your mouth and mac and cheese were outstanding! Pulled pork very tasty and moist! They have a small wait staff but they truly work hard to deliver a great service. This mom and pop place is a lil gem in this quiet part of vermont.

For takeout. I can't believe it took me so long to check this place out. We ordered 4 things to try for the first time: wings (chinese style) (AMAZING! And unique), ribs (not exciting), pulled pork (very good) and pulled chicken (also amazing and unique). I'm totally going back for all their chicken, which is not something I would normally say! And I really appreciate the listing of what's gluten free. I want even more options! Good luck guys! Great job. Great sauce. Be safe.

Brisket was awesome, poppers were crazy good. We ended up sitting outside, it was cooler outside then it was inside. Place was clean and the service was great.

Great BBQ! Shared pulled chicken sandwich and baby back ribs with my dinner partner. Meat fell off the bone on the ribs and yummy cornbread side. Intimate and casual indoors with picnic tables outside. Attentive waitstaff. Convenient to highway and worth a stop!

Bland pulled pork, bun was cold. Fries were boring. Best part of the mean was the coleslaw.

The store did not disappoint -- it's a baker's paradise in every sense. Every possible ingredient, tool, pan, piece of equipment, and baking mix you could imagine is here, beautifully displayed and easy to browse. The space is bright, immaculate, and extremely well organized, with helpful staff ready to answer questions or point you toward something new. There's also a demonstration kitchen and a café, which adds even more to the experience. While their website is fantastic (and what we've relied on for years), the in‑person store is absolutely worth the trip. Whether you're an avid baker or looking for the perfect gift for someone who is, this is a destination worth driving for. We're so glad we finally made it -- and we'll be talking about this stop for a long time.

The lattes were pretty standard and the pastries were a bit disappointing. The flavor profile of the focaccia was odd - corn, tomato, and spicy mayo. Honestly, I was hoping to have a soup of some type but there was none available on the menu so I opted for the chicken salad Sandwich (didn't seem a very Turkish fare), but it was good...although the Sandwich needed more chicken salad to offset the thick Texas toast; there really was very little on the Sandwich. My husband had their PLT, a sandwich that had more substance to it (there was more bacon on it than there was chicken on my sandwich)...but again, both sandwiches tasted good. To drink we tried a couple of their cocktails and while tasty and unique they were very speedy, $16 is far too much to charge for them...the price definitely prevented me from having another, and when we go back to have dinner...we probably will skip drinks (not worth $32 for two people.) Don't get me wrong, we aren't cheap people, we just want a good value...the drinks aren't that. Our server was great! He was friendly, helpful, and there when we needed him. Couldn't have asked for more from him. We did also have a hot appetizer. I forget the name of it now, it was $9 for 2, deep fried rolls (like egg rolls of a sort but with Philly dough and filled differently), these were very good...I could have eaten several, I wish I remembered what they were, but they are last on the list of hot appetizers so you can find them.

But it was New Year's Day, options were limited, but I'm so grateful Farmer & The Bell was open, because this experience has changed my life, and here's why. If you lined up a dozen donuts in front of me, I would have never chosen a French cruller. But one bite into the double chocolate donut, I instantly knew it the #1best donut I've ever had. And I don't say that lightly--I'm a self-proclaimed foodie with very high standards. My wife and I loved it so much that we went back into the line and ordered a dozen more to bring all the way back to Connecticut for friends and family. April immediately stood out behind the counter. She greeted every customer with a huge smile and true New Year's cheer, radiating gratitude and positivity. What impressed me most was watching her greet regulars by name--especially impressive considering they've only been in their permanent location for a couple months. Even with the long line, everyone was friendly and upbeat. When it was our turn, we never felt rushed. In fact, they took the time for genuine small talk, which made the experience even better. What really sealed the deal for me was their story. You can read more about it on their website. I got goosebumps reading it. The counter server was kind enough to explain different menu items. We ordered a breakfast pide and a ground lamb pide. I got an iced mocha latte, one companion had a hot spiced mocha latte, and another companion had an iced latte with vanilla, I believe. The iced mocha was very good. The food took a bit of time but it was because it needed to cook in the wood fired oven. The ground lamb pide was full of spices and was very flavourful. It was tasty but it got a bit overwhelming when I was eating it alone. My friend offered to share some of her breakfast pide. I am not an egg person but upon the first few bites, I got quite emotional. It immediately made me think of a meal my late grandmother used to make. There was an American dude working the counter and I'll say he didn't exhibit what I would consider traditional Turkish hospitality. There is a screen to order from right by the door when you walk it and I guess he wants you to order from that because he was more effective than Susanna Hoffs in a Bangles video at avoiding direct eye contact. I would say if the tablet is the ordering device of choice they should put it in front of the counter rather than by the door where it's behind you. We finally figured it out and were able to order on the tablet but it was disheartening to watch a woman come in after us and stand forlornly by the counter hoping that the guy would notice her. He was great at stacking dishes, wiping down counters, etc and doing everything but acknowledging the human standing five feet from him. Anyway, just as she was about to leave he said hello and then took the order in the traditional way. The tea was good and the mood was nice and the pastries looked amazing.
