Amazing experience! We snagged a table at 5:30 on a Saturday as a walk-in. This is the kind of meal you're happy to pay $300 for. We had the burrata, a steak, cauliflower, potatoes and bolognese. And of course the popovers - wow! First class service. I did not love the wines by the glass options, wish there were more and better options, my only complaint though! Our contrails were great and made up for it. Will absolutely be back next time we're in Fort Worth.

A delicious spot i can't to for my bday courtesy of my wife. They treated us with complimentary champagne as well as an appetizer. The sides are family style and delicious and the food is cooked to perfection

8/6/26. Came here again (4th year in a row) for DFW Restaurant Week dinner. The food, service, and ambiance is top notch. The little extras they provide are a welcome addition and are truly incredible in their own right, from the glass of champagne, to the little round crispy appetizer ball thingy (I'm not even sure what it is but it's wonderful) with the accompanying aioli, to the delicate and airy popovers; what a beginning to each meal! I started with the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp and the dressing was subtle but authentic. I then varied from tradition and ordered the sea bass for my entree. Oh my what a treat! Perfectly cooked and paired well with the basmati rice and curry sauce. Lastly, the chocolate tart was so rich and delicious; a perfect ending to a great meal. Our waitress was very attentive yet personable and two different gentlemen came by to ensure our meal and experience was perfect. We have always enjoyed our experience here and the food is delicious!

I essentially lived at Wicked Butcher this week while staying at the Sinclair Hotel, eating here twice, and it absolutely delivered on every level. The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

Our family meet here to celebrate my son's birthday and everything was great. We were seated immediately and our wait staff came right over to take our drink orders and bring over complimentary champagne and some very delicious and airy bread. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the rack of lamb and the lamb was really good and cooked just the way I wanted. The sides were great, especially the mac& blue cheese. It was a great place to celebrate, a little expensive but a very good experience.

My meal was outstanding. Best I've had in awhile. I wanted to be salty bc service was chaotic to start. But the cuisine spoke over any shortcomings. The only thing that fell flat was the amuse bouche- it was tough, like it had been sitting for awhile. But that popover with the slightly sweet, slightly salty butter? Pbbbbbbh. Dumb good; I could not stop eating it. The bass in that curry was excellent. There may have been a temperature discrepancy between two or the three elements, but the mass was so hot (and perfectly crisped) the whole meal landed at the right spot. The brussels were ok; some parts were over-charred, but the sauce was nice. Again, overall, I couldn't take a star bc I sat at that bar shaking my head and eating more than I even needed to. Worth it. Two word review: hell yes.

We rented out the private room for a special birthday celebration and could not have had a better time. The food was excellent and very flavorful. I would definitely suggest the sea bass! The staff was wonderful and quick to bring all of our drinks despite us having a group of 14 people. The icing on the cake was really the candle/sparkler on top! The presentation was fun and the actual cake was delicious. Can't wait to return.

Ambiance was dimly lit romantic steakhouse. Seating mostly is in the basement but three is an upstairs area and bar. Haley the server was fun and bantered well with us. She was very knowledgeable about all the menu items. Hamachi was excellent perfect heat and sweetness combo. Filet was delectable and chocolate tort was amazing.

I was lucky enough to visit Wicked Butcher Christmas Eve. We had an early dinner and there before the restaurant opened. We ended up waiting for our table at the bar, where we found out only the Dallas location has a happy hour. Hopefully one day soon this changes, because this is a great location downtown and they're missing out on more customers. Once our table was ready, we were led downstairs to their restaurant and to a nice table. The ambiance is beautiful, and would be a great date night spot. The free champagne, appetizer and popover bread was the perfect way to start our meal. The popover is to die for, and I'm still thinking about how delicious it they were. For the man course, I ordered the scallops. They were good, but I'd be open trying another dish on the menu next time. Wicked Butcher is definitely a classy establishment to visit when if you enjoy peaceful and beautiful ambiance in the downtown area.

We came here on 11/11/2025 to celebrate our anniversary and could not have had a better experience. We got here early and had a drink at the bar upstairs from the restaurant - the decor is super classy and is perfect for a special night out. The hostess took us downstairs to our table and we took in the atmosphere as best we could - lots of people there were really enjoying themselves. We saw groups as well as couples enjoying their experiences as we were. Corina took the best care of us. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, as well as focused on our level of enjoyment. She and the manager brought over a complimentary champagne toast and amuse bouche. We started with their popovers, which my woman explained (she is the baker in the house) can be hard to make. They looked hard and crunchy - which they sort of were on the outside but then were super soft and pillowy on the inside. They were also delicious! We followed up with the bone marrow, which was a little scarce on marrow and heavy on salt. Very heavy on salt. Our entrees were the Bone-in-Filet and Beef Wellington along with a side of the Mac and Cheese. All were delicious and plated perfectly. During every part of our meal, both Corina and the manager were on top of making sure we were satisfied with it all. Our finale was a complimentary chocolate tart to celebrate our special night. It was also a real treat. For all of this, the price was not as high as expected. The experience itself was priceless. Corina and the manager treated us like regulars even though it was our first time. They knew we were there for a unique experience and they delivered. We can't wait to have a reason to come back - maybe to celebrate a day ending in "y?" Why not? Thank you, Wicked Butcher!

Facilities are beautiful! Staff is wonderful! Food was good but a bit over the top. This is a serious steak place so the beef was great! I loved the free appetizer, 2oz of sparkling wine and pop-over. We went for restaurant week. For the $59 price the food was over the top. I had a tuna tartar, sea bass and chocolate torte. My favorite thing of the night was that torte with peanut butter crunch on the side. Wow!

Had a team dinner at the Wicked Butcher and boy am I glad I decided to join the team. First of the restaurant is nicely decorated. We were in a private room that accommodated 18 people blue walls really nice artwork with a somewhat bookshelf on the other. Had my first lemon drop and it was absolutely delicious. The entire experience was a win.all of the entrees arrived at the same time and everything was delicious. Not one complaint. I am looking forward to the next experience. At the wicked Butcher .

Enjoyed dinner for 4 of us at 5:45 pm before a show at Bass Hall. Hailey was a great friendly and knowledgeable server with helpful menu recommendations and very attentive to the arrival timing of our food so we could make our 7:30 pm show. She even suggested dessert options that were fast to prepare and the ice cream sundae was a perfect choice to end our meal. The complimentary wine, arancini and mini chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch. For those of us who cannot drink alcohol they might want to offer nonalcoholic options for beverages to avoid awkwardness. The pork chop was our favorite because it was seared and still juicy in the middle. Two of us ordered it. Everyone enjoyed the food and fresh hot popovers were delightfully yummy. We liked that they accepted reservations and sat us quickly. The restaurant was fairly full but spacious enough where every table was spread out so that it was not too noisy to talk. The cozy sofa booth table along the back wall downstairs was tucked away and a perfect place to catch up with friends. We would definitely go back again the next time we visit Fort Worth or see a show at Bass Hall because we could walk to the theatre from the restaurant which was super convenient.

Recently, I had lunch here, and they now have a new farm to table menu that really exceeded my expectations. The Ranch has reinvented itself many times, and now it's a restaurant I would visit for the food AND atmosphere. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - At its core, it's a bar with several indoor and outdoor dining areas with a country theme. The Ranch is so versatile that you can host a private event while people dine in the main area while others hang out at the bar. There's also a charming outdoor area that is nice if the weather is cool. Best of all - it's full of people and energy. 1 Star. Service - Our server was great. We explained the concept, went over the menu, and while a large table occupied his time, several of the staff were helpful. Everyone was dressed in Cowboy/Ranch gear. Texas Southern Hospitality is real. 1 Star. Food - My most recent visit was like visiting a new restaurant. The Ranch's menu has changed, and everything was new. I started with the pork belly appetizers, which was a great start to meal. The tender pork meat had a layer of sweet + salty belly that melts in your mouth. I went with the Barbacoa Grilled Cheese that was one of the best I've ever had. The barbacoa (shredded BBQ beef) was the star and was better than any brisket grilled cheese I've had. The sourdough was grilled with lots of butter, so after devouring the sandwich I had to wash my hands. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Absolutely. I had been to The Ranch so many times I considered a place to gather for Happy Hour. Not anymore. The new menu is incredible, and I can't wait to return. 1 Star.

At Reata diners are just "plain folks" who are hungry. The booze will knock the wind out of you. For supper, we both had chicken fried steak and extra to take home. I had the plate of greens with pecans! Delicious! Since this was our anniversary I had the best ever banana pudding with a Texas shaped cookie. Total for two: $120 That's not outrageous! That's 21st Century ! Go to Reata. I insist.

Came here for our first visit for my sons 30th birthday and I don't know that we will be back. As…read moremuch as we LOVE Marty Bs - we have not had such luck with Rustico and now 1845. I will say we atleast liked the atmosphere and ambiance better at 1845 than we did at Rustico. But it was more of the same- incredibly overpriced BLAND food. Not at all worth the price you're paying, severely lacking in flavor, and takes waaaaay Too long to be delivered to your table after ordering. We started with the Texas Trio and we did enjoy that. It is kind of hard to mess up queso, salsa and pimento cheese- however we did say that was one thing we would eat again and was worth its value. My husband and other son bothe ordered cheeseburgers at $22 a pop and both said the burger they get at local pint was a million times better and a lil cheaper. I got the smothered chicken and It was very disappointing! The chicken was so bland it was like a notch above school cafeteria food (seriously) I swapped the rice for mashed potatoes and they were good (not great but good) and the Brussels sprouts which were really tasty but VERY small Portion for price. I've eaten at incredibly high end steak places that charge the same For a side of sprouts and give you more than double what I got tonight at 1845. The birthday boy got a strip steak and potatoes and he gave each of us a bite. $49 for this steak- a good size- but NO FLAVOR at all. Last but certainly not least- our server was nice enough and attentive HOWEVER he had on the Meta glasses that record people and that made our entire table very uncomfortable. My son said he had seen tik tok accounts where waiters record their patrons and post it! (Not saying he was but it definitely changed the atmosphere of our dinner) He also seemed notably disappointed and different after we didn't order the $49 appetizer and no alcohol. Visible mood shift but he did remain professional. All in all, we are baffled by the good reviews. And very very surprised at the quality of product and price point considering Marty Bs coffee has AMAZING food quality and pricing and so does the restaurant, just doesn't seem to be translating to the other establishments. :-(
