Don't get anything to go! My mom had ate a Tiramisu dessert at this restaurant about a month and a half ago and her experience then was memorably pleasant. We were shopping in the area and one of the things she wanted before heading home was two Tiramisu desserts to go from Wicked Tuna. She called in the order on the way and when she said two - I tried to suggest one. She asked for a total, and the young lady said $22. This seemed like a lot to my mother, but she remembered it being just soooooo good when she was dining in with friends that time before. On the way to our destination, she began eating the dessert and was not happy. The wafers were rushed into the dessert instead of crumbled up as they were in her dine-in experience. The presence of a liqueur flavor (such as amaretto or "something" to give tiramisu its trademark taste) was totally absent in the dessert. So, basically, my mom just dished out $22 (she stated "pudding and crackers") for two half-pint jars that I can re-use to can some jelly. When I tried to call the restaurant to voice a complaint just to let the restaurant know they had an unhappy customer ~ the young lady said that she asked her manager and nothing was different about the recipe and rudely hung up on me without trying to console the unhappy situation that was occurring. I guess Wicked Tuna thinks that their awesome view of the Inlet allows them to treat to go customers like their money is cow dung and not worth the golden ground they walk on. I would not spend my hard earned money in this establishment after how my family was treated in this situation. read more

We were looking for a restaurant with a view of the water that served sushi and found what we were looking fir here and more. This was a beautifully situated place. We had a wonderful lunch here. The duck tacos were out of this world, as well as the dragon roll. I had the yum yum roll and they were gracious enough to substitute the tuna with eel due to my allergic reaction to tuna. The service was outstanding. Our waitress, Sandy, was genuinely a very good waitress, courteous and attentive to our requests and needs. She suggested the duck tacos in a way that made us want to have them. All in all it was a lovely experience and we will definitely come back here. read more

My wife and I ate at the Wicked Tuna on 6/01/17. It was an excellent evening. The server, Manny, was superb. He was attentive, knowledgeable, polite and friendly enabling a relaxed experience. My wife had the fried seafood platter with Spanish rice. I had the grilled seafood platter with asparagus. We had a soft shell crab as an appetizer and key lime pie as dessert. The key lime was the best of three places we ordered it. It was busy but we were promptly seated with a view overlooking the water. There is inside and outside seating. The food was delicious and we would go again. This was our second time there and both times were great. The grilled platter had fresh snapper and it was one of the best prepared fillets I have had. This place is awesome! They have some of the most amazing seafod we have ever tasted. I had California roll and the Mahi Mahi fish tacos with seasoned rice and my husband had the grilled seafood platter. Both were delicious. We left completely satisfied. I would highly recommend them. Went here for Labor Day weekend at lunch and sat outside. The view is spectacular and the food is good. However, we waited over 45 minutes for our 5 meals to arrive and the restaurant was not crowded. Other than the wait time we enjoyed it and would recommend this restaurant, mostly for the view. read more

Three strikes and you are out Wicked Tuna! We keep giving you chances but we are done. After waiting over an hour (and we did call ahead) we finally got seated at 8:45 pm ready for sushi only to be told it would be over an hour for sushi! Then three item we tried to order were sold out. Had to ask for silverware setups at least four times before we got it. (Ate our apps with our fingers). There were six of us and three of the meals came out well after the first three. It was an absolute comedy of errors- but sadly not at all funny.... and expensive to boot. read more

Would not know about the food from my last experience. I eaten there a few times, but will probably not return anytime soon. My wife an I went to Wicked Tuna 09/23/17 to celebrate her birthday. We were seated at a dirty table at the service end of the outdoor bar. We sat an waited for about 20 minutes and no one ever spoke or even took our drink order. We decide to leave and go somewhere else, there are plenty of option for good food and service in Murrells Inlet. I told the hostess what had happen and she didn't seem to be very concerned. I just want to remind Wicked Tuna that winter is coming and that dinner and future dinner may help in the off months. read more

Was there tonight with my family of 5 looking forward to a nice dinner outdoors like we had a couple of years ago on our family vacation and wanted to give the same experience to other family members. Unfortunately, when I spoke with the hostess (young and blonde hair) and mentioned we would like to seat outdoors, she said that they don't give choices and we get what becomes available at the time (first time I ever heard of a restaurant do so especially for a higher end restaurant when customers satisfaction should come first...and shouldn't it be our decision if we want to wait longer for an outdoor seating?!...). I mentioned we went there looking forward to seating outside though and this hostess was very quick to responde with an atitude, "Everyone comes here looking forward to seating outside!" Needless to say that I was very appalled by such response that we ended up checking out Claw House, which waiting time for outdoor seating was the same (and guaranteed) and had a wonderful experience there, food wise and more importantly staff wise! Maybe this restaurant needs to review the staff they hire as hostess, after all they are the first impression!... read more

My husband and I went there just a couple days ago and will never go back! Was seated immediately but sat with menus for 20 minutes! When someone did come to ask us if we were waited on yet she told us that the soups on the menu were no longer offered and that they were gonna take them off the menu. Who has a seafood restaurant with no soup with seafood?! Corn chowder was available. I said we would dine somewhere else and left. Horrible service. My husband, daughter and I sat for about 10 minutes before someone came to take our drink order only after he had to go ask the hostess. No apology from the waitress. Two people at tables near us complained about their food being cold. After that we decided to just order a couple of rolls and leave. Yes, this may be a big tourist trap but we really wanted some place where we could sit, eat and look out over the water. And that's exactly what we got. The bonus was that the food was actually quite good, not the fine dining we had elsewhere but very good. We split the ginger salad and it was really good. I had the fried shrimp dinner. The shrimp was plump and juicy and the fries were actually cooked! I hate limp fries and usually order them well done to avoid that. My husband had the grilled seafood combo and ate every last bite. Our only complaint was that he ordered a scotch and soda and we weren't sure there was any scotch in it. Looked like a glass of water to us. read more

The asparagus in garlic cream sauce was wonderful, crispy & tasty! My husband had the green pea & mushroom risotto which was also pretty tasty, the peas were plentiful but only 3 very thin slivers of mushroom in it. The pomegranate martini was ok. The worst part was the shrimp tacos, although there was a lot of shrimp in the tacos, they just weren't good, they were mushy & very small, not much bigger than the canned shrimp; I would rather have fewer pieces of very tasty & larger shrimp than to have an abundance of bad tasting shrimp. My husband had the carne asada tacos & they also lacked in flavor. Nothing at this restaurant would make us want to go back! Our waiter was nice & served us promptly but if I'm going to pay $50 for my dinner, it needs to be better than this! read more

Never will i go there again. I live in myrtle beach and look forward to going to the marsh walk for a nice day out and every single time i come here it is awful service. This is the 5th time i have come for an event such as the Bloody Mary event or st pattys day and the service is the most terrible service i have experienced besides 810 bowling alley in Conway. I legitimately counted how many bar guests were there and there were 15 and 3 tables sat with 2 bartenders. That is not a lot of people at all. I waited at the bar for 15 minutes before even being acknowledged and then 2 21 year old guys came up and basically got immediate service. I ordered my alcohol through them because she acknowledged them and not me. I ordered an Ultra through them to her and she ID'd us all. I have a Real SC ID and they were Spring Breakers from Oklahoma. Before she saw our ID's we told her our order and than ID'ed us and she thought their IDs were fake so she denied them. BECAUSE i ordered through them because of the lack of experience or care she has, she denied me as well because i was standing next to them. I'm a local and will never recommend Wicked Tuna to anywhere. If you're looking for a good place at the Marsh Walk, go anywhere else. read more

Enjoyed the ambiance out on the water with a nice view of the inlet. We ordered sushi and each roll was delicious and fresh. They were balanced nicely (not too much sauce or topping). The dessert was fantastic if they have it, try the tiramisu. read more

My family recently had dinner at Wicked Tuna and it was awful. We had reservations that were made a month before hand and when we got there they sat us in a dark corner of the outside deck. The service was terrible. There were cockroaches running all over the place. When our food came out only half of us got our meals, which were cold and not cooked properly, the rest of our party didn't get their food for another 15 minutes. When we complained to the manager he didn't come over to apologize and only took off $40 from a $500 bill! They didn't even remove the $80 tip that was automatically added to the bill! I would never go back to this restaurant and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I'm thinking of contacting the health department. read more

First time and last. Wife and I both ordered the seafood platter, crab cake was with he only thing good on it, although there could have been a little more sauce on it, Oysters were over fried, too crisp, shrimp was so-so, and fried grouper was also too crisp. Also the garlic mashed potatoes were very dry. We had to ask for tartar and cocktail sauce, and it did not come with slaw or hush puppies. Every seafood restaurant we have been to serve hush puppies with their platters and you don't have to ask for tartar or cocktail sauce. Took a very long time for the food to come and that was the reason we did not complain because we did not want to wait another half hour or more. Last but not least a 20% tip was added automatically to my bill. I don't care for this practice. read more

Horrible experience! We went with a big group. Server could not handle us and no help. Could only get one drink. Water was hot no one ever added ice. Meal came out at 3 different times. For the last four years this has been our number one choice for our Girl's trip dinner. Last night we once again returned to celebrate our friends birthday. We were seated quickly , but had a long wait before our waiter approached. Signature drink ingredients were not in stock and other drinks never arrived. We are aware of two kitchens and different arrival times of food, however one main course sushi roll came out before another appetizer sushi roll. One person in our group was horribly overcharged. We asked for the server to correct the bill. He seemed to get a attitude, but did get the manager. The manager did correct the bill, but acted as if we were trying to get away with something for free. The biggest disappointment to us was someone coming over to take our photo then returning to try and sell us the photos. This restaurant has always been one of our nicer nights out. If we want this atmosphere we will go to Broadway on the Beach. We were in general extremely disappointed. I will say the food was very good in spite of the service. read more

Wicked Tuna was really, really good. We shared the rock shrimp and the tuna tar tar. So. Delicious!!! I had the grouper medallions with lobster risotto (omg!) and my husband had the filet with a crab cake (also omg!). It was really good. Service was good too. Highly recommend! It is a bit pricey - for 2 apps, 2 entrees and 2 drinks - our bill was $135 so definitely a splurge meal. read more

We were walking the marsh walk looking for somewhere to eat. After having a totally mediocre meal at Bovine's the day before we choose the Wicked Tuna after reading their menu. We ate early and light. The fish tacos were excellent: a combination of Asian influence on a taco theme. The waiter was experienced, friendly and attentive. Before we left the crowds started to arrive and, as others have reported, the noise level was more than I like (but it was less than at Bovine's). We would consider eating here again. read more

Tried this place in August for the first time and it was very good. There was a wait for seating so I said we wouldn't mind sitting in the bar area which looked really nice....well, the hostess then took us to an outside bar area- that was SORTA inside- like a porch with ceiling fans and the ambiance was MUCH different then the inside bar but we didn't complain. My husband got the red snapper special which he said was delicious and I got a few sushi rolls which were huge- but delicious (the crab cake one was especially large- good to share!) I had the ginger tea (alcoholic) and it was refreshing on this hot night. Overall it was good, but next time i will wait and sit inside. read more

Well I knew going into this place was not going to be cheap and they did not disappoint lol. The service was very friendly and the views were awesome, I highly suggest sitting on the back deck. Waitress was very knowledgable and quick on the spot with refills. We had some sushi before hand, it was all good except for the dynamite roll, tempura batter was thick and not pleasant tasting at all, my wife was impressed with the Dragon Egg and I enjoyed it as well. I had shrimp tacos and they were out of this world, very light and fresh, lots of flavor, my mother in law had the ribeye, great cut of meat and seared to perfection, my father in law had the Seafood Platter and everything was fresh and tasty, the crab cake was the best I ever tried outside of the Chesapeake Bay area! Even my one year old daughter approved with her fried shrimp which she promptly made disappear. Other than being extremely pricey this was a good dinning experience! read more

The food was amazing. We happened to get a poor server who didn't tell us any of the specials or anything about their fresh fish. She didn't come back for 30 min at a time, all our drinks empty for 15 min or more other servers even asked us several times if we were being helped. After we ordered we heard a couple other waiters telling history about the place and how all their fish was locally caught. All stuff we would have liked to hear. I do think it was just we got a poor server I did not see any others as inattentive as ours. The food was good enough I would definitely go back and hope for a different waitress. read more

By the time another burger was coming out, everyone else in the party had finished and were waiting on me, so I just asked the server to take it off the bill and she asked if I wanted to see the manager...yes and yes. The manager, Stephanie (who is also the GM) came to the table with a major attitude. She was completely unprofessional, rude and obnoxious. On vacation and took an uber to murrels Inlet and ask what the driver suggested he said whicked tuna so my family and I went and we sat outside on the deck. It was a gorgeous view everything started off fine wait was a little long for food but our waitress had pre warned us since they were busy. about halfway through our meal there was a large number of palmettos(apparently that is South Carolina's version of a roach) running around the deck where people and where my family was eating .. not just my family but others had to lift there feet off the floor under the table so they wouldn't run across them. We asked the waitress about them and she said oh we are spraying for them tonight after the restaurant is closed. Half my family couldn't even finish there meal. It's fine if you see maybe 1 but in the corner there was ALOT and they were running all over that we lost our appetite. We paid for our meal and left. Spoke to the manager (not looking for a free meal we had already paid and tipped our waitress) and said if you are having an issue outside you should close deck seating and take care of problem right away and should not let people eat there food outside while they are running around. he goes there is nothing we can do it happens by the water here all the restaurants have this problem we just told him we wouldn't be back (which doesn't make a difference bc they will be just as busy tomorrow night since it's a tourist attraction so he didn't seem phased by our complaint) but When you got up to walk inside from the deck into the restaurant they would scurry across the deck in front of you. I personally thought they were only outside my brother in law who I was with said he had also seen them INSIDE the establishment. So needless to say we will not be going back since it seems like they rather keep the tables open for the money than shut down and let exterminators spray to keep the outside desk and inside clean. read more

My wife and I were in Myrtle Beach for a long weekend. I had seen a review of Wicked Tuna in USA Today and we decided to check it out. Got to the restaurant around 7:30 PM and the place was rockin ! Took a while to find a parking space and once we were inside we were told by the Hostess that there was a 45 minute wait. We asked if we could wait at the bar which she said yes. When we got to the bar it was crowded as well but we were able to get a couple of margarita's. They were absolutely sublime. We were encouraged that we were in for a terrific meal. Several people at the bar looked like they were getting ready to leave so we stood behind them in order to take their seats. 5 minutes later we had seats and asked if we could order dinner at the bar. The Bartender said yes and took our order. We decided to order several apps and share as opposed to a full meal. We ordered the Tuna Pizza, Tuna Tataki and the Bang Bang Grouper. After a short wait, just enough time to order a 2nd Margarita, the food arrived. OMG !! They were all so wonderful !! The portions were just the right size to share and be satisfying for both of us. The food was good. Nothing out of this world but good. Love the outdoor seating. I was a little annoyed when they told us it was a 30-45 minute wait. We put our name in and gave them out phone number where the hostesses said they would call us when our table was ready. We went to the outdoor bar, the mixed drinks were not very good, and we never received a call. Plenty of tables were opened, I went to the hostess and they were very apologetic and sweet and sat us right away. The food was good. Our waiter was nice but one of the servers was playing jokes on me that at first ok but after the third time it started to really aggravate me. There's good customer service and silly annoying customer service. We are out to dinner being polite an prompt is good customer service playing jokes or being silly once, OK. When you See that I'm not really thrilled about these jokes and you continue and I have to turn around and say I don't like these jokes they are really annoying. read more
