When in to order for takeout like I have for months during Covid. I ordered the 2 chili dog meal and asked them to make one of the dogs a kraut dog instead, I've been ordering this way for a couple years. When they rang me up I noticed they charged me an extra $1 for the substitution! I explained that the kraut dog and chili dogs are the same price and I've been ordering the same thing for a long time, didn't matter to them, they wanted their extra $1. Very disappointing to be charged more for a chilly cheese fry with my $20 order for my boyfriend and I when they couldn't originally change the regular fry to a chilly one because there and I quote "system doesnt allow it". This was my first time here. This place was surprisingly clean. For these types of establishments (fast food) I was impressed at the level of cleanliness. I even took a quick pick at the kitchen area and everything was sparkling and well organized. I could tell that the owners take pride in their business which is great to see and encourages repeated customers. The food tasted good and I enjoyed that the bread tasted fresh. We ordered the family meal for $12.99 we asked for cheese and if we could get chili cheese on our fries which they said yes. After we ordered our meal went from $12.99 to $21.89, WTF? For adding cheese to the hot dogs and adding chili and cheese to the fries that you already receive with the meal? Wow what a rip off! Obviously we didn't get the order it was way to much for just 6 hotdogs and 3 fries. We can say the service was good just the cost sucks! We won't be going there again. If you want to go be sure you order exactly what is on the menu because if you change anything your meal may go from $4 to $30 real quick, what a rip off! read more

Service was pretty fast but then again I was the only one there at the time. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and was pretty shocked when it came out at almost $4. Could have got 3X that at McDonald's. Anyways, I got home and opened my burger and was pretty pissed off. The bun was completely smashed flat and the "patty" if that's what you want to call it was flatter than the damn bun. I do enjoy eating here. If you want know how clean the kitchen is at a place, look how clean it is kept out front and around outside. It's always clean. The bathrooms are always clean. Food comes out quickly. I'm coming from Fairfield to eat here at the Vacaville location. The one negative is no public WiFi. I have really poor T-Mobile service here. I like to watch a little YouTube as I'm eating and it's hard to do that as my stream keeps cutting out and only having 1 to 2 bars and acting like there is no service. I do enjoy the food. The one good Hotdog place in Fairfield has shut down. There's another place I think called Sac's that's in Vallejo that's also good. read more

I almost threw up when I bit into their bratwurst. I ordered it without the onions and sure enough it came with the onions. I'm pretty sure when i sent it back they just took the onions off and threw my brat into the trash before serving it back to me. At least that was the impression i got. Yesterday I ordered 4 chili dogs and an ice cream cone. I got the ice cream cone and having a brain fart I drove off without the hot dogs which I paid for. After getting home I realized we didn't get the chili dogs. My son drove me back and we went through drive through and told the young girl what happened. Once we drove to the window a man which I'm assuming was the acting manager at the time came to the window. We told him what happened and showed him the receipt. Every time I tried to tell him something he was quite rude. Not sure of his name but he appeared to be a foreigner of some sort. Then my son tried to talk to him and he was still not listening. The guy wanted to know who was the person who took my order. I told him I went to Subway, Del Taco and Wienerschnitzel all in the same day. How in the hell do I remember who took my order especially with everyone wearing a mask.. As my son tried to talk to the guy I started looking around because at this point the area doesn't look familiar. So I'm asking the guy was this Pittman Way because that's the one I used in my gps. He still kept talking over me. I asked him to look at the receipt and see who and when they took my order. My receipt had the name of Khalid and the street name was Central but that wasn't the direction I used in my gps. Simply there was a misunderstanding but this guy was just plain RUDE. He ended up giving us the food but he was more concerned about who took my order. Again, the info is on the receipt. If I'm ever back in Cali again I damn sure won't deal with him again!!!! I was dreading my move to the dredges of the East Bay, but as I turned off the freeway I saw a beacon of hope. The squat little building with the yellow and red awning proclaimed that I might actually be able to handle living in this strange town of cows. The kind and courteous master of der wiener took my order with a knowing smile. "One corn dog and an order of chili cheese fries, extra chili & cheese!" I opened the box with chili leaking out its side to bear witness to the most perfect order of chili cheese fries ever made. This place is a total bust. I asked for a cheesey dog, and what I got was not even close to relevance. They gave me a frank with hard cheddar sprinkled on top. How does a restaurant that revolves around hot dogs not have cheesey dogs?? Epic failure. I could've made a better meal at my house. As far as service & surroundings goes: disappointing. I could barely understand what the staff were saying behind their thick hispanic accents, and the ceiling was only a couple feet from the top of my head. The Best Chilli shtuff ever! I took a date out to a classy dinner but they lost our reservation so I took her to this Wienerschnitzel as a joke but she loved it! We ate chili for hours and talked about our likes and dislikes. She kept talking about how much she loved chili.. I was like "yah chilis cool' but she wouldn't stop talking about it. She grabbed my burger and scraped the chili into her purse while laughing really loudly! I told her I needed to leave, it was getting late, but she grabbed my hand with her chili covered hand and said we should wait till they close because they sometimes throw away the left over chili and we would be able to get it all for ourselves out of the garbage can. As I looked at this rather cute woman's face covered in chili I realized that we probably didn't have a future together. We are now married and have 3 chili loving children. I've been to this place a few times when I was younger, and decided to go in recently to treat my girlfriend who's new to the city. The food was just as I remembered but the people running it were East Indians, which normally isn't a bad thing, but they had this kid up front who was obviously new to the workforce, and he hadn't memorized everything they'd offered yet. So the manager just unloads on him in a very unprofessional manner, in plain sight of the customers. He was telling the kid that he didn't just hire him to stand around, and that if he didn't learn this stuff it'd be adios to his employment. The kid was actually lively and upbeat, and had good customer service presence. A lot of East Indians don't practice showing good manners on a daily basis, and when it comes to commerce they can be downright unforgiving. Everyone experiences dick managers but the kid was getting berated over not memorizing the difference flavors of the sundaes they offered. There are better people to work for, and more successful chains to apply to. read more

Food is what you'd expect from a fast-food chain... palatable. But the service is fast, friendly, and most importantly, competent.
