What is hard is there is about 8 vacuum stalls during peak hours. Customers either wiping down their cars with the free complimary cloth while waiting for those stalls to open up. The business limit vacuum use for 10 mins so can free up the stalls. You can purchase their microfiber cloth but I bring my Costco microfiber cloth to use. I like the Kapolei location as there are more vacuum/wipe stations available here due to being a bigger location. I'm glad that I have Waipio location which is closer to where I live. The cost for service is $20.94. Card payment only, do not think they accept cash but ask. They have membership option as well. I prefer to wash my car at least once a month if can.

A couple of weeks later I returned with my paid registration and was told that I could not get my safety check stickers. I was told that an employee was negligent and left the iPad, that is used to conduct and submit safety inspections, had been left out and someone had walked off with it. The mechanic and cashier where rude, argumentative and tried to push blame off to me. I only went to this station because I live close by. I should have gone somewhere else. The negligence and apathy displayed by the employee's is a true display of their contempt for the customers. Avoid this business at all costs.

After visiting a nearby business and days and days and daeaaaays of rain I basically can't see outside my window even after squeegee washing my windows...it was time. Poof I see a self serve car wash called "isle wash" right beside Aloha Island Mart and decided to give it a try, no lines no fuss just me and my ride lol! With three types of wash to choose from I just chose the cheapest at $13 was still a bit high for a self serve I thought but I'm not doing this in the hot sun so here we go! Yes it's the basic wash all with a touch of a button and credit card the process was fast and easy. Did it get all my grimy dirt off my ride...yup but not all the water...infact that was the worse part and is a good thing I do carry a microfiber towel at all times so I pulled into a nearby parking lot and towel dried my car top to bottom...I probably should've gone on the freeway fast lane then have done that lol!! Other more economical washes start at $5... but you never pay more than $8. Unlike many local washes (like the one next to Lex Brodies in Kaneohe) that have a mechanism that grips your car's undercarriage and can cause damage as it drags your car through the stages (like what happened to my car), this one prevents that type occurrence by having the wash assembly move around your stationary vehicle... nice! Only downside is that the air blower stage doesn't quite do as good a job as the PHH one with the result that you will have more residual water on your vehicle than normal. But at $8, this small inconvenience is easily nullified by a few minutes of driving...("de minimus", as the lawyers say).... definitely recommend this wash for all ID card holders with installation access. Flexible and determined to help me out, the mechanic recommended I drive it off base and he met me at a nearby location. The rig was impressive and he was knowledgeable and efficient. Nothing but professional and good vibes he had me out on the road with a good tire in no time. This 24 hour service saved me and I'd highly recommend. Thanks again fellas!

When I came to pick up my car the detailer indicated that he walked into the gas cap cover on my car and broke it off. The owner indicated that they could order a replacement the next week. They made sure they collected the total amount for the detailing, even though they damaged my car in the process. After waiting to be contacted and never hearing back I called several times and got the run around. Finally, after several weeks they said that the owner had just ordered the gas cap cover. When it came in, they said they needed to paint it and they would call me. Sometime later they made an appointment for me to come in and have the cover replaced. The person working that day had no idea I was coming in, had to look for the cover, and try to replace it. The paint job was rough and unprofessional, and the cover was too big to fit my car! After complaining again, the owner said I could have it fixed myself and he would reimburse me. I had to order the part from Korea, which was easy, but evidently not for the Like New Detailing Staff! When it came in, I had it professionally painted and installed. I sent my receipts in for reimbursement, and after several weeks of not receiving the check, I called. They said the check had been mailed. I waited awhile longer and still no check. I don't think they ever prepared and mailed it. I called again. They said I could come to the shop on a Saturday in June and pick up a check. When I arrived, the girl in the office had no idea I was coming to pick up a check and struggled to find my information, although they claim a check was previously issued and mailed. I was finally issued the check after waiting for her to figure it out. This was the second time they made an appointment with me, and when I showed up, they had no idea I was coming or why I was there. It took over six months to get this resolved because of their incompetence and lack of caring. I think they just hoped I would forget about it and go away! Please don't waste your money here!
