Beautiful murals and quirky decor are located throughout this outdoor restaurant. They have a gorgeous bar inside by the bathrooms if you need to get out of the heat. This is a regular spot of my friends so I was in no way surprised at how good the food was. The shrimp was fresh, crunchy shrimp and the mullets seasons is perfection. Cocktails are above average and reasonably priced. Parking can be a beast though!

This seafood-focused restaurant started us off with a hearty fish spread served alongside crackers…read more The spread was lightly seasoned, with fresh cucumber and jalapeño adding brightness and flavor. The jalapeño, in particular, provided a pleasant kick that elevated the dish nicely. Tedie and I both ordered the grouper tacos. The restaurant keeps things simple, offering each fish prepared in only three different styles. Tedie chose the "Florida Man" preparation (broiled), while I selected the "Dirté."(fried) The fish appeared to be either red or gag grouper. Interestingly, she preferred mine, while I found myself enjoying hers a bit more. The cucumber spaghetti side was refreshing, though I think it could benefit from a bolder flavor profile. It's something I'll likely recreate at home with a bit more seasoning. The Cajun fries were well-executed and made for a satisfying accompaniment. Overall, I'm glad we gave this place a try and would recommend it to others. In terms of value for the money, I'd rate it a solid 7 out of 10.

It was delicious and so was the mustard it came with. My partner usually doesn't like mustard but he said this one complimented the sausage well. We sat inside by the kitchen so we had the pleasure of seeing all the food look and smelling delicious as it left the kitchen. Outside seating is also available. Everything we ordered was amazing. Only regret was not coming in my actual birthday for the free meal.

We started with the crispy pork belly, which looked a little on the drier side when it arrived but don't let that fool you, the brown sugar bourbon glaze it was dressed in was delicious. Really enjoyed it as a starter. The tavern burger came highly recommended as one of their best dishes, and while it was a good burger, it didn't quite blow us away. Surprisingly mild on flavor despite the toppings, and it's a BIG boy... which I know some people love, but I tend to prefer a smash burger so I'll take partial responsibility for that note! The fries, however, were excellent... textured, crispy, exactly how fries should be. The real standout of the visit was the chilaquiles (the chef's brunch special). It ran a little dry, but the flavors more than made up for it. The combination of crunchy tortilla chips, smoky sauce, pickled onions, egg, avocado, and cilantro all together was just so good... my boyfriend was equally obsessed. Would absolutely order again. Service was great and overall had a really enjoyable visit... Stillwaters continues to deliver a solid experience and I'll keep coming back!

Trophy Fish, located in the Art District of St. Pete, did not disappoint! Nautical-inspired ambiance gives off island vibes from the fresh seafood and friendly service. To kick off the evening, I ordered the fried street corn, which was a standout appetizer. It had the perfect balance of crispy, savory, and a hint of sweetness--definitely something I'd order again. As an entree, I had the fresh catch of the day, flounder nuggets, and they were absolutely delicious--lightly fried, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly fresh with every bite. Overall, the food was fresh and flavorful, paired with a laid-back vibe - I'll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu!

Came here on recommendation from a client and was not disappointed!! Perfect casual spot!…read more Some street parking available, although I'm sure it's competitive on busy nights! Completely outdoor space with bar, small tables, and high tops for small to medium groups! Casual, beachy vibe, with umbrellas and tastefully modern beach decor. Bartender was incredibly friendly, offered wonderful recommendations, and remembered my name throughout my stay! Counter service food, separate from the bar. Fun seafood apps and an intentional mains menu make this a great spot for a light dinner or apps and drinks! I had the daily catch, which was amberjack, citrus rub, with slaw and taters. It was a lovely meal with flaky fish, tangy slaw, and decadent potatoes! Good value for the cost! Had the Gone Fishing to drink, which came served in a themed bobber glass. Rum-forward without being too boozy, balanced with sweetness and nuance from the tea. Surprisingly elevated for a beach bar vibe! Would absolutely recommend! Top it all off with some chill live music and you have the perfect evening for this guy! :)
