Had 8am reservations for 9/5/22. Sat at table for over 15 minutes & no one came to say hello, take a drink order...completely ignored. Finally, someone came by & said you haven't been waited on have you I can tell by the look on your faces. We said no, which she replied I will send someone right over. Another 5 minutes and no response, so we got up and left. When we were pulling out of parking lot there were 3 servers outside talking. There appeared to be enough wait staff standing around. Plus 2 gentlemen came in after us and someone greeted them immediately. Don't know what the issue was but hope it gets resolved soon. read more

I'm at Wild Eggs pretty frequently, probably three times a month. It's super close to my house and is really consistent. The servers are friendly (hostesses are more of a mixed bag) and the food is great--breakfast food with a Tex-Mex bent. There's also a lunch menu but I've never ordered from it. The most recent time I was there, I had the biscuits and chorizo gravy from the starters menu. It's great. The biscuits are soft and fluffy, not dense at all. The chorizo gravy is basically a standard breakfast gravy made with Mexican style chorizo rather than breakfast sausage, so the warm spices turn the gravy orange. What I usually order is breakfast nachos, which are really a genius idea. Chips, refried beans, some kind of queso, chicken/chorizo/ground beef (your choice), salsa, sour cream, pickled jalapeños, eggs cooked to order. Sometimes I get it without the egg and I'm just having nachos for breakfast. It's great. Pro tip--you can order the chips and the toppings separately so that you can construct the perfect nacho on each chip. I was actually a Wild Eggs naysayer for many years. My meal was tasty regardless of what I ordered. Veggies were diced small and tomatoes were the meaty part and not the goo. SO's waffle is the best she ever had. You can never go wrong at Wild Eggs!! What a great family friendly brunch restaurant. They also accommodate groups extremely well. We've been in a group of two, four, and six and have had fantastic service every single time. My favorite things to order are the Farmers market skillet, wild berry crepes, French toast, and wild mushroom and roasted garlic scramble. I LOVE their skillet potatoes and turkey sausage as sides. Get there early, it's normal to expect a wait at peak hours on Sunday's after church. There's so many shops to peruse if there's a wait which makes it more pleasant. Wild Eggs used to be top on my list but on this visit both of our meals were not good at all. My mom ordered the French toast but it was so mushy that she could only eat the outside crust. I ordered the buffalo chicken omelet and the chicken was gray in color and I just couldn't eat it. Very disappointing to say the least and I'm just not sure when I'll be back. read more

Although the restaurant was busy, we were promptly seated by the host and soon thereafter greeted by our server. Drink order (refreshing mimosas) arrived quickly, as did our food. I appreciated that there were so many gluten free options to choose from! Temptation struck and I sampled the french toast which was delicious. My omelette ingredients were very fresh, but I thought it lacked a bit in flavor and the steak that I'd requested to be added was barely there. My fiancé and I decided to go out for brunch this morning and all I could dream about was eating Wild eggs and the eggs Benedict and a Bloody Mary. We arrived about 9:50 am and were told the wait would be 25 minutes. We waited maybe about 15 minutes and our buzzer lit up like Christmas morning when our table was ready. We were greeted by Brenden, he noticed I was looking at the menu with a new alcoholic beverage and several yummy food options. He described the alcoholic beverage Iike it was sunshine for my mouth and soul, normally I like the sound of a champagne cork, but I had my tastebuds set on that Bloody Mary. Brenden made sure our beverages were full at all times, a manager stopped by twice to see if we had been waited on and then to check how our food was we we received it. Although our food took a little longer than normal to come out, it didn't matter Brenden was there to save the day with another Bloody Mary and coffee. Our meal was delish and the service was phenomenal. Brenden was polite and greeted every table with his peppy personality and table side manner. It was my wife's birthday and she always loves the Eggs Benedict. She always substitutes regular bacon (It has to be crispy too) for the Canadian bacon. I got the sauce on the side because I wanted the bread to stay crispy. I placed the order to-go because she was still in bed and wanted to surprise her. Only 15 minutes until it was ready! I arrived paid and was out the door with my food in less then 5 minutes. Everything was correct still hot. You guys made me a hero and started our day off right. Wanted to love it, tried two different stores one in Louisville and one in Nashville and both were average at best. I love the simplicity yet continuity of the decor, the place is good sized, it has patio seating and each store has a circular bar you can sit at if you wish. Louisville the service was really good but the crabby patty bennie was really salty and did not taste good. I tried both crepes and they were way to sweet for me but I'm feeling a lot people will like them. What is good is they are flexible and will accommodate whatever you desire. Nashville, I had the waffle with blueberries which was good, I asked for extra blueberry and got 8 berries lol, asked again and said I would pay for a side of blueberries and this time they brought a small dish of them. When I ordered my waffle I asked for a side of eggs and bacon which came out as I was finishing my waffle, I assumed they had forgotten, because no one came back to check on us. I've been to other Wild Eggs, but first time here. Made reservations for a party of 4. Arrived on time for reservation but had a uncomfortable wait due to entrance area being somewhat packed. We waited in the enclosed location inside of front entrance which was super cold due to weather. Probably waited 10-15 minutes before we were sat. Our server was nice but seemed rushed. She didn't write our orders down and that proved to create issues with some of our orders later. Food was ok nothing spectacular. My omelet with steak was not flavorful, steak tasted bland and cheap like it was a pack of steak ums used. Pepperjack cheese saved the day. My friends were frustrated because orders were not prepared like requested and an order of pancakes were cold. Best thing I had was the dark chocolate latte. Server spent time getting things we needed that should have came before or with food (ketchup for one). Manager came out to check on us but we didn't want to complain. Server also spent time talking to us, again she was friendly but may not need to depend on her memory when taking multiple orders. Stopped in here for brunch on a Saturday morning. Our party of 3 was seated in less than 15 minutes and service was prompt throughout. Waters were always filled before empty and the waiter was quick to take our order. The cleanliness of the place was probably the worst part. When were were seated there was food on the chairs that needed to be wiped off and there were eggs and a fork on the floor where I sat down. The menu was long and had a lot of different options for pancakes, crepes, eggs in many variations, and Sandwiches. I had the Bagel and Lox Benedict which was good, but I didn't care for the potatoes which were just greasy and soggy. Someone else at the table had the breakfast burrito which was really really good and I would recommend that over the Benedict. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some of their other menu items. We are big fans of Wild Eggs and on our way home from a birthday weekend get away we decided to try a new one. Close to our favorite liquor store we found this Wild Eggs Gem. As always there was a wait but the good news was it would be 25 min. The day was so beautiful we opted for the Al Fresco seating and were very pleased to be seated in about 20 min. The abundance of menu choices makes it so hard to decide so I went with the sausage breakfast burrito with pork verde sauce and one of their FAMOUS Bloody Marys, my better half had the Farmers Skillet. DELICIOUS NUTRITIOUS and GOOD FOR US!!!! Our culinary advocate Lyndy was a beautiful young lady that took great care of us and was very attentive. I was only able to eat half of the burrito but plan on having the rest of that bad ass burrito after finishing this review, just wish I had one of those FAMOUS Bloody Marys to go with it. Wild Eggs might be one of the most popular breakfast/brunch places in Louisville and for good reason. I've been there somewhere between a half dozen and a dozen times and everything I've had is good. The service is also good, but be sure and get there early if you want to find a seat or not wait an hour. Honestly, the first 4-5 times I went there I simply got one of their omelets or made my own and they were good, but nothing fantastic or worth 5 stars. I went there because my friends wanted to and their fresh squeezed orange juice and everything muffins are delicious. Then I started branching out across the menu. I couldn't make up my mind one day on items, so our waiter brought me two small portions of each. I fell in love. I usually stick to one thing, but I've now tried several of their other entrees and everything is so good. The stuffed french toast is delicious. The whipped cream that comes on it is so good and actually has a taste to it instead of just being fluff. The french toast itself is wonderful and you can really taste the egg they used to make it, which I love. Their omelets are good, but don't knock my socks off. The Smokin' Hash is good. Good peppers and onions in it, but it's not one of my favorites. The Zax I Am Fried Eggs and... is your standard eggs, potatoes, side and muffin. One of my favorites is the breakfast nachos. Those things are like crack and they are absolutely delicious! I got mine with beef instead of chorizo or chicken. They are very good and have some spice to them also. I will get those again. Their Bloody Mary's aren't bad either. They aren't overly spicy and I went with someone who doesn't like spicy Bloody Mary's and thought it was perfect for her. My biggest recommendation for Wild Eggs is don't try to go at 10:30-11 on a Saturday or Sunday. You'll have at least a 45 minute wait. Sometimes it's over an hour. They'll give you a beeper and you can walk all throughout the Westport Village though and shop while you wait at least. That's not a bad option. I recommend going late or after noon though. If you go during their primetime and you're in a small group of 2 or 3 people check the bar to see if there are some seats there. There usually are and you won't have to wait forever for a seat. Because Wild Eggs is so popular they charge for it. The prices are a couple bucks more than I would like to pay for brunch, but it's not bad and it's worth it. This is a great place for brunch and I highly recommend going to Wild Eggs and getting half portions of all of their entrees until you go broke or die. Cheers. read more

Frustrated with the "reservation" process with this place. Placed a reservation for 6 at noon. Arrived at 11:55, was told there was a 30-35 minute wait even with the reservation. Begs the obvious question, "why have a reservation system if you still have to wait 30 minutes when you arrive after you reserved a table online?" We thought a reservation would RESERVE our table so there wouldn't be a wait. Never got to try the food. Be ready to wait, even with a reservation. Maybe a clear explanation on the website that you may have to wait awhile even with a reservation would be good. read more

I had the Klamity Karen and the sweet corn cakes makes this amazing just the right sweetness! My daughter has the Benny and she said it tasted so good. I substituted my muffin for 1 pancake and this was the best decision i made! I honestly have never tasted fluffier pancakes. If you like Breakfast, this is a gooooooood breakfast. It's quick service once you get seated... but they're busy - clearly they've done well with strong following. Expect to wait 15-30 min if you're sleeping in on the weekend, but it's still worth it. My husband and I were in Louisville for the weekend and searched for "best Sunday brunch" on Yelp. Wild Eggs popped up so we went! It was about noon and we put our names in. They said it would be about a 25 min. wait. We were waiting and seats became available at the bar, so we grabbed them! I saw other customers having mimosas and had to order one! Delicious! My husband ordered a make-your-own omelette with mushrooms, spinach, and Havarti cheese. The side was their daily grits special with sausage and two kinds of cheese. He also had a choice of breads and chose the biscuit. I had a special egg dish on the menu. They were fundraising for Cancer Research and offered two specials. $2 of the order goes to the charity. I ordered the special with scrambled eggs with spinach, tomatoes, bacon, and cheese. Delicious! It came with potatoes, but they subbed the special grits no problem :o) It also came with an everything muffin. Very yummy! I asked what it was and was told that it's like an everything bagel but in a muffin. The top was crusty and the inside was light and tender. I also ate half of my husband's biscuit which was WONDERFUL! No need for butter! I liked that they gave us our own pitcher of ice water with lemon. The other people at the bar were talking to each other, so there seemed to be a lot of regulars. The waitresses were ultra friendly and efficient. I do have to say that I had to tell one of the workers that they ran out of toilet paper in the bathroom though. read more

I ordered the Eggs Bennie w/ the special Swiss Cheese And Ham Grits. To drink I had a Passionfruit Mimosa. The food was yummy, but really nothing I haven't had before. One of my poached eggs were overcooked so the yolk didn't run all over everything like it's supposed to with Eggs Benedict. I also would have liked more hollandaise sauce. Also, I was pretty shocked my mimosa was $8. That's absolutely ludicrous. If I would have known that before I ordered it I definitely wouldn't have. 4 oz of champagne...um no. If they're going to offer it at $8, at least give the patron their money's worth and make it a larger glass. My brunch buddy had the Kelsey "KY" Brown. She said it was great! Wild eggs is one of my favorite breakfast places! Every time I'm in Louisville (I'm from Cincinnati) I have to make a trip to a Wild Eggs. This specific location would be my favorite. It is clean, spacious, and lots of parking! The food is consistently good too! My personal favorite dish is the Crabby Patty Bennie, but the Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict would be a close second. Nice experience. Stopped here for a bite to eat before continuing are road trip to Nashville because it had good reviews and the hotel recommended it. There was a bit of a wait for a seat but it was nice outside so that was expected and fine. Our server was pleasant and gave us some good suggestions, popular customer choices. It took a little longer to get our food but it came out hot and looked delicious. My son had the kids pancakes and the egg and sausage meal with fresh fruit.
