Based on reviews and friends comments, we were really looking forward to eating here. Two of us had the burger and one had the curry. The food was not bad, but it also was not great. The burger was dry and under season and definitely overcooked now that I think about it that we did we're not asked how we wanted our burger done, I had a blackberry Mojito, which was so so as well couldn't even taste the rum. The cocktails were so amazing and refreshing as we lost count on how many we tried (hence only posted one pic as we forgot to take pics of others) . Ordered their salad and piggy plate. Salad was nothing to write about. It would have been better if they added candied walnuts rather than just the plain ones. Dressing was bland. We were going to be visiting the Toadstools so we drove up here because it sounded wonderful! Great vegetarian options! I had the sesame tofu bowl and my sister the falafel yellow curry bowl. Date of visit: 8.22.22 There is a fair amount to like about Wild Thyme Cafe, but it's an ultimately uneven experience in both food and service. After we ordered, we were brought some warm rolls and mystery accompaniments without a word. The table next to us saw this and asked why they didn't get this and were promptly brought a similar basket along with an explanation-- the rolls were paired with a white balsamic and a cinnamon agave butter. The butter is a bit too sweet for an asiago roll but the balsamic was outstanding. My lasagna was decent, with a great sauce and a nice mix of flavors. But it was lacking in cheese and once the top layer was gone, the magic subsided. The garlic bread that came with was fantastic and I could have used more of that, especially after the cheese was gone. The asparagus was flavorless, unfortunately. For dessert, we opted for the salted caramel cheesecake which overall was good, if more caramel than anything salted. The piece was quite small for the price, too. But the crust was devine! Service definitely dragged things down: Dirty dishes piled up on the table and remained for most of the meal, water glasses were empty as often as they contained water. The natural light is so inviting and the artwork featuring places of Zions National Park is beautiful! Not really booth seating but still feels intimate. Our waitress was kind and quick and easy going! Super friendly! I noticed another server that was also very friendly to his tables as well! Now the food! My boyfriend got the smashed potatoes and the Wild Thyme Pasta. Mixing the two was an incredible decision by him cause it brought so many delicious flavors of garlic and seasoned potatoes together. Very hearty, even without adding a protein. I had the tropical piggy and that just smacked in the face with flavors. The braised pork was a perfect savory compliment to the pineapple slaw and the spinach gave it a nice fresh aspect! all of their mocktails sounded delicious and it was hard to choose one. In a small town like Kanab where we weren't expecting very many good places to eat. We walked out of our Holiday Inn and decided to walk into this place that looked busy and had outdoor seating. There wasn't any wait to get a table too. The menu looked interesting with quite a few good options and cocktails! I asked for an old fashioned and the wife got a bloody mary. Both our drinks were good! For dinner we shared the curry with falafel patty; and it was delicious! Our boy got the sliders and they came with beans...the food looked so good.. we forgot to take pictures!! Lava cake for dessert and we were a happy customer! This place just impressed me. In a touristy town like Kanab I never expect much. We got recommended this place by our hotel concierge and I couldn't have thanked her enough. I got the pistachio crusted chicken and it was creamy and flavorful and juicy- way good I ate the whole thing. My friends and I also split the lava cake which was a perfect end to the night, rich (and GF). My friend got a drink- the dessert moon- and raved about it, for a fair price too. We came across Wild Thyme cafe during our roadtrip to Zion. We got there around 7:30pm on a Monday and waited for 30 minutes before getting seated. The atmosphere felt like a mix between a diner and a nicer restaurant and overall was very cozy. I ordered the yellow curry and falafel and sadly found it too salty for my taste. The falafel was also dry, some of the kale didn't seem fresh, and the curry was spicier than I expected. The presentation was nice, but I would say it was overpriced given the taste and quality of the food. I tried a few other dishes, such as the salmon and the shrimp tacos, and found them all to be too salty but weirdly bland otherwise. The salmon was probably the best dish out of the three we ordered. Overall, I'm not sure I would return to this restaurant, but I'm glad we came across it during our drive. read more

We had beef medallions, salmon, fish tacos, ribs and chicken, my favorite was the beef medallions except that the sauce that came with it was too salty, otherwise the cooked the beef perfectly and it was just the right amount of food! Came here twice and both were different experience based on the food we got. First day I would rate just 4 stars, but on the second day, I would rate 5 stars. First day: Fire grill trout. Not much flavoring on the fish and was somewhat dry, but not bad. Wifey had a shrimp taco which was also very filling and the shrimp proportions were good. It was also flavorful. Desert with salted caramel cheesecake was very good too. Second day: Got the ribeye and boy, they cooked this so well. The meat was tender, juicy, and really well flavored. The impossible burger was also very juicy, the Jamaican jerk sauce did its job. The grilled pineapple is comes with compliments the dish. It's impossible that this is a vegan food. All meals were big in serving size so you'll be definitely full when you're done. They have outdoor seating but only one heater pole which will not be enough for such a big space. Came here with my mom while on vacation. We were immediately sat when we arrived for dinner at 7:30. We were greeted by a female server after 10 minutes and asked what we would like to drink. My mom ordered a glass of wine, which was received within 5 minutes. We then opted to split the pistachio chicken which was very good and flavorful. Our server inquired how the food was towards the end of the meal. We were offered dessert but opted out. The meal and glass of wine came to about $40.
