The Wildflower Cafe has good food. The omelet and bacon was nice and the portions weren't too small. They weren't too big either, but somewhere near what you would expect at a trendy little spot. There were, however, some significant issues. First, the waiting room appears to be outside on the sidewalk on the Sun in the weather, which on this day wasn't bad but would be on most any other. Second, everything took awhile. The wait at the door seems longer than quoted. The server seemed late to the table and late to take the order. We had the time to miss our food before it arrived, but to be fair, not by a lot. And it wasn't like things were missing, but the service was clearly super casual and laid back and slower in a way that you'll notice if you think about it, but maybe not if you don't. For a place this small, the service should pop. Third, the food. Now I mentioned above that it was good, and talked about the portions, but it does feel like items are missing vs other places for the cost. If you eat out alot for breakfast you'll notice paying $34 for two but getting 75% of the food you would other places. And that makes it feel super expensive. If every dollar counts for you, this may not be a good choice. read more

Wildflower Cafe 11th and Peoria Thumbs up I love cafe/diners. And this one is definitely a step up from the typical ones dotting the Tulsa landscape. You can get avocado toast, but also a comfort food like turkey dinner. I got Thursday's special, turkey dinner ($13). My wife purchased a buffalo club sandwich ($13) (pictured) and it came with potato salad. They have an excellent selection of desserts, which I normally pass on if I'm in the typical diner. But, the desserts and breads looked homemade so I tried the peanut butter pie ($5). I haven't had peanut butter pie in decades! Everything was really great. I think the fresh breads and desserts alone will bring me back. Menu: large selection of breakfast or lunch. Most diners will use chunks of white and dark turkey. But their turkey dinner was sliced breast and was juicy and tender. I do wish they had slopped more gravy over everything, but not a huge complaint. I bet they would have given me more if I asked . If you're looking for a very chill, easy breakfast but don't want a diner vibe - Wildflower is a great choice. Walked in on Saturday at 10:30 AM and were seated right away. Server immediately came over and brought us waters and got our order. Less than five minutes later, orders were in front of us. I got the two egg breakfast, my boyfriend got the Wildflower breakfast. Food was good, no frills but delicious. Most of the brunch places we drove by on the way over were packed (mimosas, always a draw) but I loved that this place was nice and calm. Wildflower cafe is a new little breakfast and lunch spot near midtown/downtown. It is SO cute!!! The food is awesome and the menu has a variety of things to choose from. We've taken our twin babies a couple times and it's kid friendly. The prices are reasonable too! The woman who owns it is so sweet, her mom helps out too. I went to this restaurant for the 2nd time yesterday. It was just as good, if not better than my 1st visit! I love it when I find a restaurant that is consistent with their food quality. The first time I had blueberry waffles with a side of grilled tomato. Yesterday, I had avocado toast with a side of hash browns.
