The staff were accommodating over the phone when we were checking to see how busy they were and in person too! Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful to the best of their abilities. My table started off with the Roasted Beet Salad, it's definitely perfect as a wonderfully light and sweet fruit medley which includes apples, strawberries, pecans, beets, and more. Super worth it to try with your meal as it's a sweet and refreshingly appetizer. For the entrees, my table had the Lamb chop lollipops , all-American breakfast, and Chilaquiles. The lamb was a perfect tender bite alongside small blocks of cheese, watermelon, and blueberries which was an interesting combo. The Chilaquiles were a nice mouthful of classic mexican breakfast flavors like the pico and jalepenos atop the tortilla chips soaking in the green sauce. Lastly, the American breakfast is a great portion of food for someone that wants a little bit of everything when it comes to breakfast time. The french toast with powdered sugar was a delightful sweet bite. Overall, I recommend this place to everybody in the area at least once! Especially outdoor seating if it's not too hot that day, beautiful scenery alongside a meal is always a treat.

We secured our reservations well in advance and arrived punctually. Upon check-in, the staff promptly guided us to our outdoor seating arrangement, which offered a stunning vantage point for watching the sunset while enjoying quality time together. While skimming through the appetizer menu, we struck up a delightful conversation with neighboring diners who enthusiastically recommended the lamb lollipops. Intrigued by their endorsement, we ordered them ourselves and were thoroughly impressed. The lamb lollipops delivered an unforgettable culinary experience--tender, flavorful, and absolutely pristine. For our entrées, I selected the 16oz boneless ribeye accompanied by a loaded baked potato, bacon-wrapped asparagus, and guajillo chimichurri sauce. My lady chose the 8oz Prime Filet Mignon, elegantly topped with herb butter, garlic whipped potatoes, and lemon-zest asparagus. Both dishes were extraordinary! The ribeye proved incredibly tender and juicy with remarkable flavor in every bite, while the filet mignon was equally spectacular. Both proteins were cooked to absolute perfection, melting effortlessly on our palates and leaving us craving more. The accompanying sides were equally impressive. We concluded our meal with a brown butter cake crowned with chopped praline pecans, whipped cream, and maple caramel sauce, served over vanilla bean ice cream. This dessert was so exceptional that we couldn't resist ordering a second one. Neither of us could help ourselves--we simply had to indulge again. Honestly, if we'd had room for another stomach, we would've absolutely gone back for seconds and thirds of everything on the menu. While The Vault Uptown certainly comes with a premium price tag, I can assure you that every single dish I've mentioned is worth every penny. I'd strongly recommend requesting an outdoor table positioned toward the sunset so you can take in the stunning vista of Snoopy Rock. The perspective from that vantage point is truly breathtaking. Don't hesitate to book your table at The Vault Uptown--you'll be thrilled with your decision.

They also have a pretty elevated menu that surprised me with some of the menu options that were pretty inventive. Vibe: They have plenty of parking, plenty of seating inside and out, and they are dog friendly. There is a lot of open space and I like the area because you get a nice view, the little courtyard is really relaxing and they are very welcoming. Service: One thing that stood out to me was the cans that have a red and green on each side. If you flip it to the green it lets them know you need the host and red if your table is good. They are very attentive this way so I really liked this. Or hosts were very amazing and sweet and gave some good suggestions. Beer: I got one of the ambers, and my wife got one of their lighter beers. Hers kind of had the taste of miller light so it was ok, and mine was good. We did not try yo many beers, their IPA's looked pretty good but we wanted t something light and simple. Food: We opened up with their patatas bravas fries with sweet potato fries and they were really good, we could not stop eating them, the sauce was delicious and the sweet potato fries were perfection. My mother in law got the chicken sandwich and chips and that was definitely the way to go, crispy, savory and just delicious, I got the Thai burger, med rare with chips, this is where I say they got inventive, I have never had a Thai burger and being a cook myself I loved the concept. Unfortunately my burger was a little more rare that mid rare the closer I got to the center of it and under seasoned there were some Thai flavors present but most of it was taken over by the slaw, so you did not get much of the peanut sauce, the crunchy noodle part of it go more soggy and so did the bun. I think it's a wonderful concept, I think there may be a better bun to use to not let it get so soggy, and I think there are some amazing Thai spices you can get with the protein. My wife got the Greek Tacos and they were ok too, I love the concept but I think instead of corn tortillas I would do some thin naan , I would have more Greek style seasoning and some kind of sauce with some heat with it and you have a winner. Over all it was fun, love the inventive concept I was going to do three starts but honestly I love that your doing interesting foods. .

The roasted lamb was also great. Their salads are on the smaller side, so keep that in mind. Great service and the views were unforgettable. I would definitely recommend Che Ah Chi if you want to celebrate a special occasion or make your meal a memorable one.

The food was all so good and any of the other dishes we saw come out also looked tasty! The fish and chips was a top choice for my mom, who Loves this dish! The fries are unique shaped and SO good! The Coolest thing was being able to eat with our dog there, the restaurant is really nice on the eyes but the food was lackluster and definitely not recommendable which sucks because it has the potential to be better. The waiter was very polite and attentive but sadly for the price this restaurant is a HUGE let down. The food was less than mediocre. I had the "steak and frites" which came with unseasoned corn and a dash of tajin which makes absolutely no sense paired with a kbbq inspired sauce on the steak??? The 'frites' tasted like frozen air fried rally's fries. The steak was a bit unseasoned and bland like the corn (we were on the verge of sending it back but we're not those people) I think a revamp on the menu would do this restaurant well and really thinking critically on ingredients / quality and pairings of proteins.

We requested an open four top which they refused only to give it to a couple who arrived about ten minutes later. They had a guitar player who apparently only knew one song. It was way too loud and detracted from the dinner. I wanted one of the five beers they had on tap. There was no list available and the wait staff had very little understanding about beer. For example, if an IPA is hazy, that's a different style from a West Coast IPA. They had two IPAs on tap - both hazy. Why? My wife got the blackened salmon which was very well prepared. The fish was high quality and the portion size was good. The only oddity for her was trying to determine why you had to request gluten free for this dish as noted on the menu. The waiter asked the kitchen. There was no gluten ingredient in the dish. Why do you have to request gluten free? I had the chicken piccata. It was a bland couple of chicken cutlets swimming in a thin milky tasteless sauce. There were a few capers but almost no presence of any lemon on the chicken and none in the pasta which was described as lemony on the menu. The only good ingredient was the pickled small red peppers. Most times I've ordered chicken piccata it comes with a lemon wedge or two. Disappointing experience.
