Have been hearing about Willow & Whisk from friends since they opened and finally took the leap yesterday morning. It is located in the Boulder run complex. Key point for me as I'm not familiar with Wyckoff but yes I know Boulder Run. They are offering indoor or outside seating in a large tent or right next to the restaurant on the pavement by the street/parking area so you'll have your choice of preference. If you prefer to be away from the tent even though uncovered you are nowhere near the sun. I can't imagine that area getting sunny until around 2 PM. Keep in mind this Restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. This is great for me as I love to brunch, albeit I did arrive at 8:35 AM The menu had all the options for either the breakfast inclined or lunch inclined. We opted for 2 fresh squeezed orange juices even though I heard their coffee is amazing (I can't wait that long to have coffee after being awake). They were sweet and delicious. I ordered the pastrami smoked salmon Benedict and my friend had the avocado toast. Granted we were there early but the food came within minutes. When we commented on it, our fantastic waiter made a point to say that the food always comes out quickly. "It's their thing". Good for them. Both our meals came with a side salad. We were asked if we wanted to sub for breakfast potatoes but we were perfectly fine with the salad and actually preferred it. My eggs were perfectly poached and the smoked salmon was delicious. The hollandaise was a little runnier what I am used to but the flavor was on point. Through this experience, I actually realized I prefer it not so thick and heavy. The avocado toast was flavorful and perfectly topped with everything one would want. The red pickled onions were fantastic. I almost want to say the salad was my favorite part but that would be an injustice towards everything else. This restaurant however seemed to capture everything I find perfect in a bite of salad. It was super seasoned which I often find lacking. Instead of drowning the lettuce in balsamic or Italian dressing to make those flavors stand out the dressing was so light so I tasted the greens and the beautiful salty notes they had added. Yum I am actually drooling while thinking about it. So yes if you can visit and try some deliciousness. If you are budget conscious I would not bring your entire family. Beautiful interior and ample amount of parking. Its definitely a good idea to make reservations cuz it does get extremely busy. My wife and I went for brunch with our son and our table was underneath their tree. The server was very accomodating and we did not have any trouble with the menu. It was a full page with just enough items so you won't be overwhelmed. We ordered the frittata bites, lemon ricotta pancakes, and the goddess chicken sandwich. We also ordered pancakes from the kids menu. The food came out at an orderly time and they were all delicious in their own way. The pancakes were just the right texture. I went to Willow & Whisk with some friends because we heard about its opening. This restaurant took proper safety measures to ensure that all customers are social distancing and safe. I went on a Thursday morning and the wait time was about 40 minutes long. There was outdoor seating available, but the inside of the restaurant also looks incredibly aesthetic. I ordered a So Cal Breakfast Bowl and grapefruit juice. The grapefruit juice was like any other grapefruit juice, not very sweet, and a little sour. However, the So Cal Breakfast Bowl was so delicious. I had my egg over hard since I don't like runny eggs, and it was so yummy. I also really liked the sauce that they used because it went well with the potatoes and eggs. I will definitely order this again when I go back. Overall, I had an amazing experience here. The staff are super friendly and checked up on us regularly. The So Cal Breakfast Bowl was amazing as well. Don't go here for a quick breakfast. Find some great company and enjoy the fresh, tasty food. Went on a Labor Day Mon and everyone else had the same idea. Stood on a line for 5 min to put our name and number in. We opted for outdoor but indoor had immediate seating. Got seated after 25 min. They will text you once table ready. Online reservations only for 6 or more people. Love how dog friendly they are. Once seated our pups received 2 bowls of water. Food was fresh and everything tasted great. Happy to pay the price when it warrants. Service was friendly and everything came out right but very slow. Got there at 9am and didn't leave until after 11am. There is a reason why this place is always packed!!! Excellent brunch in North Jersey!! We got there around 9am and there was still a wait, but it was worth it. Waitress was so sweet (I think her name was Naya!) we sat outside, pestered by a bee a little but it was harmless. Inside was where the aesthetic was if you're looking for nice Instagram photos haha. I loved the Oats and Honey latte! Super memorable- very rare to find a coffee where the oats taste stands out as much as this does We shared Shakshuka and the french toast bites. Busy weekend brunch spot! It's in the plaza across from Stop and Shop, with lots of space indoors and some outdoor tables. We came on a busy Sat for lunch and had to opt for outdoors even after a 30 min wait since the wait for indoors was longer. The food is pretty solid, particularly the burger and Cali breakfast bowl. The salad has a tangy vinaigrette dressing. The black garlic burger was slightly too rich and sweet for me with the jam, but well flavored. We also got an order of the mini french toast to go, which ended up being a good afternoon snack. The Cali bowl was a bit underwhelming for the price but since we added sausage, it kicked up the flavor. Service was great and drinks were interesting. My partner and I had about a 45 minute wait, so we decided to go to some of the stores in the shopping center. Once we received the confirmation that our table was just about ready, we headed back and were seated moments later. The vibe is very bohemian and hipster, which only lends to the atmosphere. There is something about the combination of lemon, ricotta, and blueberries that makes this so good. I wish yelp would allow half star ratings because I honestly would give willow & whisk closer to a 3.5 star rating than a 4 :/ Overall the restaurant is beautifully designed and one of the few brunch spots that almost give NYC brunch vibes. We got there at 10AM on a Saturday and waited for an hour for a table of 4. The food was definitely prettier than it tasted. It by NO means was bad but it also wasn't spectacular and I guess that's why it fell flat for me--I expected spectacular but was met with good. If you live in the area then I would definitely recommend coming for casual brunch whenever the craving hits but if you're like me and need to drive 30 mins to get there and then wait another 1-1.5 hours to be seated...I would say save yourself the trouble or go with tempered expectations so you can maybe be wowed :) read more

Visited recently for lunch with some coworkers on a Saturday. If you ever go on a Saturday...be prepared for a wait. I had arrived ahead of my friends and put my name on the list. They had advised that there was about an hour and 45 minute wait. We decided to wait and went to a nearby restaurant to wait. We had started with the mini brioche french toast. they were mini french toast bites covered in powdered sugar and with this delicious maple syrup dipping sauce and topped with bananas and strawberries...sooo good!! It's really disappointing because this place is honestly fantastic, but when they mess up the wait times like this and you don't show up in the time they give you, you loose your spot. The food is phenomenal, both the breakfast and lunch menus offer a wide variety of options for multiple diets/preferences. I've eaten here at least 10 times with family and friends, trying something new each time and it's always incredible. The ambiance is clean, tidy, and the space has a modern design. I came here with my family because I heard many good things about this restaurant. I had the Eggnog French Toast, and it was delicious! My wife had the Cinnimin Swirl pancakes. Everything here looked so good. The restaurant has a nice decor with a very unique willow tree in the middle. The staff couldn't have been nicer, I felt like I was royalty! I met the owners, AJ and Richard, who came out to greet all their customers and ensure we were satisfied. I wanted to thank them for their hospitality. This is a nice and enjoyable place to visit. The food is pretty decent and consistent. The coffee is not so good . Servers are polite and well informed. If you're a large party however, your food may travel around few people before getting. To you as the busboys yell out the plate name to find right person. So expect some breathing over and specs of spits in your food. Also not so considerate to ask if you want a refill in your drink. This proves the lack of sincerity of servers and the staff. Lack of inconsideration may occur about your lost items. Make sure to get all your belongings or else say goodbye. Past Sunday was a disappointing experience for us leaving a toy behind and not being able to located it after 10 minutes of leaving. It didn't destroy itself upon us leaving so it was disposed by someone at the restaurant but no one owned it. Not so important for a grown up but may mean so much to a child who will remember this place as people not returning found items. Sad to see it happen in Wyckoff. read more
