Put my family here for my husband's birthday such a fun atmosphere Food is fantastic! Our server Alexa was fantastic. The owner came out and thank us for coming. Thank you so much for making us a fantastic birthday celebration!

    The sushi was great!

The food was good. But the portions are small and the expense is large. Won't be returning do to the price and portions. The service was also good, not great. She was wonderful but should have checked on us more frequent. The ambiance was made up for some because we were in a private tea room. The calamari and sushi might bring me back at a later date if I hear the prices and portions of the entrée have gotten much better.

I didn't think I was going to like it but wow was I wrong. The rolls have such great flavor to them. I'm obsessed now shot straight to top sushi place in Ogden

The novelty of this place far exceeds the quality of food. And the novelty isn't exactly something to make a big deal of in the first place.

Have to say the Miso soup was beyond anything that I've ever had anywhere before. Absolutely amazing. Something about it made it *sweeter* in flavor, and by God, you're just like, "give me more"! Tried the Screaming Roll (hoping it would make me scream from spiciness... sadly, it did not:-(. It was prepared as a Maki roll which made the rice just a bit too overflowing for my liking. There was a sense of spice, but definitely not the whole "shebang" I was looking for.. Spicy Salmon Avocado Roll was the same exact way though it was a hand roll. Definitely not disappointed this go round, but not necessarily ecstatic either.

The service is minimal. The wait staff didn't know the menu well. The karaage isn't made with boneless chicken thighs- skip it. The rice has no taste of rice vinegar. The miso soup is slightly bitter and barely passable. On the fish side, the salmon is good. The tuna and yellowtail are decent. I'd stick with the rolls, of which there are many options. Preferably deep fried.

Hand's down, they have the BEST Unagi Don (Eel Poke/Rice bowl's) out of everyone that I have tried. And their quality always remains the same...it gets even better each and every time I visit. I really appreciate them for that:+) Tried a couple new rolls that both absolutely blew my mind in regards to quality and quantity. The Crazy Roll is absolutely insane in regards to deliciousness (+ spice) and has a soybean base roll which really gives it a whole other fantastic flavor altogether. Spicy Crawfish Avocado Roll is absolutely loaded with crawfish (and as someone who frequents restaurants with seafood boils, it waa a great pleasure to have delicious crawfish without the task of dismantling them). Another thing that I do greatly appreciate about So Delicious, is that when they tell you on their menu that a roll is "spicy", it actually IS unlike so many other competitors. The Soft Shell Crab Appetizer is another must to try which also blew my mind in regards to flavor and portions. The dipping sauce reminded me of a tempura dipping which just added to the ultimate flavor of the appetizer. Presentation as of late has been beautiful but I cannot help but say that the food tastes even better:+).

They had us in one of their private rooms which was really nice for our family. It was helpful to not feel too stressed out if our kids were bothering anyone else, and we could relax and enjoy our food a little more. The service was fantastic. We got our drinks quickly and they gave us great recommendations of what rolls to order. We ended up getting three rolls, a bento box, and two orders of yakisoba noodles for the little ones. The kids noodles came after our food which was a little hard for them (they have zero patience) but the amount of food we ordered was enough to share with them before they got their order. The portions were massive. We absolutely loved our sushi rolls. My husband and I talked about the cosmopolitan roll being one of the best rolls we have had! Everything was fresh and had incredible flavor. The yakisoba was also delicious. They came with a lot more noodles than I was expecting! Each bowl could definitely feed two people. We had such a great night. We will definitely be back. It was an easy place to dine with kids, but I'm hoping the next time we go can be for date night!

With that said, I have tried several of their menu items, but prefer the teriyaki shrimp with noodles. This particular visit, I mixed it up and got the chicken and shrimp. The chicken is dark meat and a bit greasy. The shrimp have been better in the past, and this time I got several shrimp with their full outer shells on, and one tail shell without the eatable part. They usually offer extra teriyaki sauce but did not ask this time. I ordered a32 oz fountain drink, but later discovered at another location in the food court that I could have got a 44 oz drink for $0.40 less. They seem to be a bit over priced on their beverages. Overall, I was disappointed with my visit this time, and may consider choosing another option if the quality control continues to decline.

Our food took some time to make, which is understandable at first. But when we received our plates, I had more rice and veggies than meat, my husbands plate had more chicken meat than beef. It wasn't a good experience for the price of their food. Our plates were uneven in food, some of the meat was over cooked. Unless it's the cook, but we won't be going back.

Rave Review for So Delicious Japanese Wasabi in Ogden, Utah…read more (5/5 stars) Oh man, where do I even start? My wife and I stumbled upon So Delicious Japanese Wasabi on a whim during a date night in Ogden, and let me tell you--it's officially our new go-to spot for sushi that doesn't just satisfy, it transcends the ordinary. Tucked away in the heart of Ogden, this place has that perfect unpretentious vibe: cozy lighting, friendly staff who treat you like family, and a menu that's a treasure trove of creative rolls that scream "fresh from the sea" with every bite. We dove headfirst into their specialty rolls, and each one was a flavor explosion. The Rainbow Roll was a vibrant masterpiece--layers of fresh salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and avocado draped over sticky rice, topped with a rainbow of fish slices that melted in your mouth. It was like a sunset on your plate, bright, balanced, and bursting with umami. Then came the Dream Come True Roll, and yeah, it lived up to its name. Tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, and cream cheese wrapped in soy paper, finished with a drizzle of eel sauce and masago? Pure bliss. The textures played off each other so perfectly--crunchy, creamy, spicy, sweet. We were already hooked. But the Royal Roll? That one elevated the whole meal. King crab, asparagus, and cucumber inside, crowned with seared scallops and a caviar flourish. It felt indulgent, like royalty-approved sushi, with every piece screaming sophistication without a hint of stuffiness. And hold onto your chopsticks--the Thunder Roll stole the show. When our server brought it out, they lit it on fire right at the table! Flames dancing over the spicy yellowtail and jalapeño-filled roll, infusing it with that smoky edge before it even hit our plates. The heat from the torch caramelized the tops just right, adding this incredible char that paired insanely well with the kick inside. We were cheering like kids at a fireworks show--total spectacle and 100% delicious. What really set everything apart, though, was the rice. Usually, sushi rice is a supporting player, but here? Unusually large grains that somehow stayed separate yet clung together in perfect harmony. Seasoned to absolute perfection-- that subtle vinegar tang and just the right amount of sweetness-- it was the canvas that made every roll shine. I've had sushi all over Utah, and this rice game is next-level; it elevates the whole experience. Service was spot-on: quick, attentive, and with that genuine warmth that makes you want to linger. Prices are fair (especially with their roll deals), portions are generous, and we left stuffed, smiling, and already plotting our next visit. If you're in Ogden craving sushi that wows, skip the chains and head straight to So Delicious Japanese Wasabi. My wife and I found our new favorite spot--trust me, you will too. Arigato and see you soon! #SushiHeaven #OgdenEats #ThunderRollMagic
