But those advantages are offset by a higher than average price point and the kiss of death as far as I'm concerned--fried wings too often overcooked and done in batches, not to order. Result? The good here far outweigh the bad and I definitely recommend if you're in the area craving wings and feeling like delivery. The wings are all cooked well, not too crispy, but good enough. The girl on the phone told me they were all made together, even though I'd had all flats delivered to me before. I again asked if they would just separate them. I love the free delivery. Decent prices. But the wings are always super dry & lack sauce so I spend more money on buying extra sauce packets. Their bacon looks crispy in the photos of the cheese fries so I was excited. Every time Ive ordered the cheese tots with bacon, the bacon is undercooked and chewy. They're open late so I order here a lot but it's never very enjoyable. Delivery was quick and correct order wise. There was a problem with the payment - I paid electronically through Yelp/EatStreet but the delivery driver's app was saying I needed to pay in cash. She went out of her way to fix things for me, even coming back to refund the cash payment I had given her and providing me with coupons for my next order. I was very impressed with her customer service. The actual wings were good. I ordered the parmesan garlic dry rub and the buffalo. As with most wing deliveries, I was worried the wet sauce wings would be a bit soggy. They were but just a bit. I also requested all flat wings which I did not get. Favorite place to get wings from in Chapel Hill. This is a popular place for game day wings or late-night snacks. I always split my wings into 2 and pick 2 sauces, my favorite being the Honey BBQ (not spicy) and Jet Fuel (spicy) flavors. I've also had other flavors before and you really can't go wrong here! The best thing about this place is its convenience. I was not in the mood to make anything or go out so I had it delivered (Yelp fulfills its orders through Grubhub but you can also find them on Postmates). This is a solid place to get some yummy fast food. Although it is nothing fancy it certainly hits the spot! I got boneless honey barbecue wings and a side of ranch fries and a side of onion rings. The wings had a good flavor and the right about of sauce so that it was not soppy and not without flavor. The consistency though is not equal throughout as some parts on the outside are dry and hard to chew. There's a good amount of onion in the onion rings so that it holds its shape and you can really bite into it. the batter is pretty standard and not all that exciting. The waffle fries are creative in their flavoring--I recognize the ranch notes in the seasoning on top. The only downside though, especially because I ordered delivery, is that nothing was as crispy and I would like it and how I imagine it would be dining in. We ordered from wings last night. Apparently cockroaches are now part of Combo #1. It was covered in batter and deep fried, but still had several legs, antennae, and a head. We took pictures and called them. After sending someone over to pick up this health hazard they call food, I received a phone call from the manager. That's when things got unbelievably worse. Apparently in his expert opinion, having worked in the fried chicken industry (his words) for several years, he is well versed in what chicken should look like. He completely denied the existence of any insect, and said instead that it was "chicken fibers". What the hell are insect looking chicken fibers?! He also said that it couldn't possibly be a roach since the worst thing they have found in the food has been a staple. (Also, gross.) Furthermore, when I told him how disgusted I was in both receiving a battered and fried insect (which no doubt contaminated the batter and sauces they use), I was told that if I contacted the health department to report him that he would come after me for filing a false report since in his determination, this was not a roach but "chicken fibers". OK, I admit it, I'm a "Wings Over Chapel Hill" addict. I caught the addiction from friends and my other friends have caught the addiction from me. Typically, It'll be 1:30 am or later on a Saturday night ( they're open till 3 am on Friday and Saturday). Supper is long past and we've been imbibing on beer and whatever. It becomes obvious that we need another large order from Wings. We know the delivery will arrive fast, fresh, and right. It takes a little while to arrange the order because there's so many choices--I really like the boneless wings. Many like their wings with bones in. Sometimes we get salads or wraps with waffle fries and onion rings. Occasionally, I'll get a rack of ribs when nobody's looking. And then there's the 23 flavors to choose from--I've tried them all once and most several times, I like the really hot ones, but most aren't so hot as to be off-putting. My favorite are Sweet Onion BBQ, Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, and Sweet Chile.
